1 John 1
1 That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with the eyes of us, that which we have gazed upon and the hands of us handled concerning the Word of life —
Što bješe ispoèetka, što èusmo, što vidjesmo oèima svojima, što razmotrismo i ruke naše opipaše, o rijeèi života:
2 and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness and we proclaim to you the life eternal which was with the Father and was revealed to us — (aiōnios g166)
I život se javi, i vidjesmo, i svjedoèimo, i javljamo vam život vjeèni, koji bješe u oca, i javi se nama; (aiōnios g166)
3 that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim (also *no*) to you so that also you yourselves fellowship may have with us; Indeed the fellowship now our own [is] with the Father and with the Son of Him Jesus Christ.
Što vidjesmo i èusmo to javljamo vama da i vi s nama imate zajednicu; a naša je zajednica s ocem i sa sinom njegovijem Isusom Hristom.
4 And these things write (we ourselves *N(K)O*) so that the joy of us may be completed.
I ovo vam pišemo da radost vaša bude ispunjena.
5 And is this the (message *NK(O)*) that we have heard from Him and we preach to you that God light is and darkness in Him not is none.
I ovo je obeæanje koje èusmo od njega i javljamo vama, da je Bog vidjelo, i tame u njemu nema nikakve.
6 If we shall say that fellowship we have with Him and yet in the darkness may walk, we lie and not we do practice the truth;
Ako reèemo da imamo zajednicu s njim a u tami hodimo, lažemo i ne tvorimo istine.
7 If now in the light we shall walk as He himself is in the light, fellowship we have with one another and the blood of Jesus (Christ *K*) the Son of Him cleanses us from all sin.
Ako li u vidjelu hodimo, kao što je on sam u vidjelu, imamo zajednicu jedan s drugijem, i krv Isusa Hrista, sina njegova, oèišæava nas od svakoga grijeha.
8 If we shall say that sin not we have, ourselves we deceive and the truth not is in us.
Ako reèemo da grijeha nemamo, sebe varamo, i istine nema u nama.
9 If we shall confess the sins of us, faithful He is and just that He may forgive us [our] sins and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ako priznajemo grijehe svoje, vjeran je i pravedan da nam oprosti grijehe naše, i oèisti nas od svake nepravde.
10 If we shall say that not we have sinned, a liar we make Him and the word of Him not is in us.
Ako reèemo da ne sagriješismo, gradimo ga lažom, i rijeè njegova nije u nama.
