1 John 1
1 That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with the eyes of us, that which we have gazed upon and the hands of us handled concerning the Word of life —
Was von Anfang war, was wir gehört, was wir mit unseren Augen gesehen, was wir angeschaut und unsere Hände betastet haben, betreffend das Wort des Lebens;
2 and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness and we proclaim to you the life eternal which was with the Father and was revealed to us — (aiōnios g166)
[und das Leben ist geoffenbart worden, und wir haben gesehen und bezeugen und verkündigen euch das ewige Leben, welches bei dem Vater war und uns geoffenbart worden ist; ] (aiōnios g166)
3 that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim (also *no*) to you so that also you yourselves fellowship may have with us; Indeed the fellowship now our own [is] with the Father and with the Son of Him Jesus Christ.
was wir gesehen und gehört haben, verkündigen wir euch, auf daß auch ihr mit uns Gemeinschaft habet; und zwar ist unsere Gemeinschaft mit dem Vater und mit seinem Sohne Jesu Christo.
4 And these things write (we ourselves *N(K)O*) so that the joy of us may be completed.
Und dies schreiben wir euch, auf daß eure Freude völlig sei.
5 And is this the (message *NK(O)*) that we have heard from Him and we preach to you that God light is and darkness in Him not is none.
Und dies ist die Botschaft, die wir von ihm gehört haben und euch verkündigen: daß Gott Licht ist und gar keine Finsternis in ihm ist.
6 If we shall say that fellowship we have with Him and yet in the darkness may walk, we lie and not we do practice the truth;
Wenn [O. Gesetzt den Fall, daß; so auch v 7-10;2,1;3,20. 21. usw.] wir sagen, daß wir Gemeinschaft mit ihm haben, und wandeln in der Finsternis, so lügen wir und tun nicht die Wahrheit.
7 If now in the light we shall walk as He himself is in the light, fellowship we have with one another and the blood of Jesus (Christ *K*) the Son of Him cleanses us from all sin.
Wenn wir aber in dem Lichte wandeln, wie er in dem Lichte ist, so haben wir Gemeinschaft miteinander, und das Blut Jesu Christi, seines Sohnes, reinigt uns von aller [O. jeder] Sünde.
8 If we shall say that sin not we have, ourselves we deceive and the truth not is in us.
Wenn wir sagen, daß wir keine Sünde haben, so betrügen wir uns selbst, und die Wahrheit ist nicht in uns.
9 If we shall confess the sins of us, faithful He is and just that He may forgive us [our] sins and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Wenn wir unsere Sünden bekennen, so ist er treu und gerecht, daß er uns die Sünden vergibt und uns reinigt von aller [O. jeder] Ungerechtigkeit.
10 If we shall say that not we have sinned, a liar we make Him and the word of Him not is in us.
Wenn wir sagen, daß wir nicht gesündigt haben, so machen wir ihn zum Lügner, und sein Wort ist nicht in uns.
