< 1 Corinthians 8 >

1 Concerning now the idol-sacrifices, we know indeed all knowledge we have. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
Xagga waxyaalaha sanamyada loo sadqeeyo, waxaynu garanaynaa inaynu dhammaan aqoon u wada leennahay. Aqoontu way kibrisaa, jacaylkuse wax buu dhisaa.
2 If (now *k*) anyone thinks (to have known *N(k)O*) anything, (not yet *N(k)O*) (no [thing] *k*) (he knew *N(k)O*) even as it is necessary to know;
Qof uuni hadduu u malaynayo inuu wax garanayo, weli garan maayo siduu u garan lahaa.
3 If however anyone loves God, he has known by Him.
Laakiin qof uuni hadduu Ilaah jecel yahay, Ilaah baa garanaya isaga.
4 Concerning the eating therefore of the idol-sacrifices we know that no [thing] an idol [is] in [the] world and that [there is] no God (other *k*) only except one.
Haddaba xagga cunidda waxyaalaha sanamyada loo sadqeeyo, waxaynu garanaynaa inuusan sanam waxba dunida ka ahayn oo aan Ilaah jirin mid mooyaane.
5 Even truly if indeed if indeed there are [those] named gods whether in heaven or on (*k*) earth, as there are gods many and lords many;
Waayo, in kastoo ay samada iyo dhulkaba jiraan wax ilaahyo lagu sheego, sidii iyadoo ilaahyo badan iyo sayidyo badni jiraan,
6 yet to us [there is] one God the Father of whom [are] the [things] all and we ourselves for Him, and one Lord Jesus Christ through whom [are] the [things] all and we ourselves through Him.
laakiin innagu waxaynu leennahay Ilaah keliya oo Aabbaha ah, kan wax waluba ka yimaadaan oo innagana isagaa ina leh, iyo Sayid keliya oo Ciise Masiix ah, kan wax waluba ku ahaadeen oo innaguna isagaynu ku ahaannay.
7 But not in all [is] this knowledge; Some now (by custom *N(K)O*) until now of the idol as of an idol-sacrifice eat, and the conscience of them weak being it is defiled.
Laakiin dad oo dhammu aqoontaas ma wada laha, laakiin qaar sanamka tan iyo hadda u bartay, waxay u qabaan waxay cunaan sidii wax sanam loo sadqeeyo, qalbigooda itaalka daranina wuu nijaasoobay.
8 Food however us not (will commend *N(k)O*) to God; neither (for *ko*) if not we shall eat [still] do we come short [then] nor if we shall eat (have we an advantage. *NK(o)*)
Cuntadu ina hor joojin mayso Ilaah. Haddaynan cunin waxba inagama dhacaan, haddaynu cunnona waxba inooma kordhaan.
9 do be careful however lest perhaps the right of you this an occasion of stumbling may become to those (weak. *N(k)O*)
Laakiin iska dhawra si aan ikhtiyaarkiinnu wax lagu turunturoodo ugu noqon kuwa itaalka daran.
10 If for anyone shall see you who is having knowledge in an idol’s temple eating, surely the conscience of him weak being he will be encouraged the idol-sacrifices to eat?
Haddii qof ku arko adigoo aqoonta leh oo cunto ugu fadhiya meeshii sanamyada, hadduu qalbiga ka itaal daranyahay, qalbigiisu miyaanu ku adkaanaynin inuu cuno waxa sanamyada loo sadqeeyo?
11 (Is destroyed *N(K)O*) (for *N(k)O*) the [one] who is being weak (through *N(k)O*) your knowledge, (the *no*) brother for whom Christ died.
Waayo, waxaa aqoontaada aawadeed lumaya ka itaalka daran oo ah walaalkaagii uu Masiixu aawadiis u dhintay.
12 Thus then sinning against the brothers and wounding their conscience being weak, against Christ you sin.
Markaad walaalaha sidaas ugu dembaabtaan oo aad qalbigooda itaalka daran u xumaysaan, waxaad ku dembaabtaan Masiix.
13 Therefore if food snares the brother of mine, certainly not shall I eat meat to the age so that not the brother of mine I may snare. (aiōn g165)
Taa aawadeed haddii cunto walaalkay xumayso, hilib weligay ma cuni doono si aanan walaalkay u xumayn. (aiōn g165)
