1 Corinthians 6
1 Dare anyone of you a matter having against the other go to law before the unrighteous and not [go] before the saints?
Kama mtu yeyote wa kwenu ana ugomvi na mwenzake, anathubutuje kuupeleka kwa wasiomcha Mungu ili kuamuliwa badala ya kuupeleka kwa watakatifu?
2 (Or *NO*) surely you know that the saints the world will judge? And if by you is to be judged the world, unworthy are you of cases of the smallest?
Je, hamjui kwamba watakatifu watauhukumu ulimwengu? Nanyi kama mtauhukumu ulimwengu, je, hamwezi kuamua mambo madogo madogo?
3 Surely you know that angels we will judge? Surely not ever even [the] things of this life?
Hamjui kwamba tutawahukumu malaika? Je, si zaidi mambo ya maisha haya?
4 Things of this life indeed so judgment [as to] if you shall have, the [ones] despised in the church, those set you up!
Kwa hiyo kama kuna ugomvi miongoni mwenu kuhusu mambo kama haya, chagueni kuwa waamuzi, watu ambao wanaonekana hata sio wa heshima katika kanisa.
5 For shame to you I say this. Thus not (is there *N(k)O*) among you (no [one] *N(k)O*) wise, who will be able to decide in between the brother of him?
Nasema hivi ili mwone aibu. Je, inawezekana kuwa miongoni mwenu hakuna mtu mwenye hekima ya kutosha kuamua ugomvi kati ya waaminio?
6 Instead brother against brother goes to law, and this before unbelievers!
Badala yake ndugu mmoja anampeleka mwenzake mahakamani, tena mbele ya watu wasioamini!
7 Already indeed therefore altogether a defeat (in *k*) you it is for lawsuits you have among yourselves. Because of why surely rather suffer wrong? Because of why surely rather be defrauded?
Huko kuwa na mashtaka miongoni mwenu ina maana kwamba tayari ni kushindwa kabisa. Kwa nini msikubali kutendewa mabaya? Kwa nini msikubali kunyangʼanywa?
8 But you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and (this [thing] *N(k)O*) to brothers!
Badala yake, ninyi wenyewe mwadanganya na kutenda mabaya, tena mwawatendea ndugu zenu.
9 Or surely you know that [the] unrighteous ones of God [the] kingdom not will inherit? Not do be deceived: neither [the] sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate nor homosexuals
Je, hamjui kwamba wasio haki hawataurithi Ufalme wa Mungu? Msidanganyike: Waasherati, wala waabudu sanamu, wala wazinzi, wala wahanithi, wala walawiti,
10 nor thieves nor coveters (not *N(k)O*) drunkards nor revilers nor swindlers [the] kingdom of God (not *k*) will inherit.
wala wezi, wala wenye tamaa mbaya, wala walevi, wala wanaodhihaki, wala wanyangʼanyi hawataurithi Ufalme wa Mungu.
11 And such some [of] you were; but you were washed but you were sanctified but you were justified in the name of the Lord (of us *O*) Jesus (Christ *NO*) and by the Spirit of the God of us.
Baadhi yenu mlikuwa kama hao. Lakini mlioshwa, mlitakaswa, mlihesabiwa haki kwa jina la Bwana Yesu Kristo na katika Roho wa Mungu wetu.
12 All things to me are lawful but not all things do profit; All things to me are lawful but not I myself will be mastered by anything.
“Vitu vyote ni halali kwangu”: lakini si vitu vyote vyenye faida. “Vitu vyote ni halali kwangu”: lakini sitatawaliwa na kitu chochote.
13 The foods for the belly and the belly the for foods; but God both this and these will destroy. and the body [is] not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body;
“Chakula ni cha tumbo, na tumbo ni la chakula”: lakini Mungu ataviangamiza vyote viwili. Mwili haukuumbwa kwa ajili ya zinaa bali kwa ajili ya Bwana na Bwana kwa ajili ya mwili.
14 And God both the Lord has raised up and us He will raise out through the power of Him.
Naye Mungu aliyemfufua Bwana kutoka kwa wafu atatufufua sisi pia kwa uweza wake.
15 Surely you know that the bodies of you members of Christ are? Having taken then the members of the Christ shall I make [them] of a prostitute members? Never would it be!
Je, hamjui kwamba miili yenu ni viungo vya Kristo mwenyewe? Je, nichukue viungo vya mwili wa Kristo na kuviunganisha na mwili wa kahaba? La hasha!
16 Or surely you know that who is being joined to the prostitute one body is? Will become for it says the two into flesh one;
Hamjui kwamba aliyeungwa na kahaba anakuwa mwili mmoja naye? Kwa kuwa imenenwa, “Hao wawili watakuwa mwili mmoja.”
17 The [one] however being joined to the Lord one spirit is.
Lakini mtu aliyeungwa na Bwana anakuwa roho moja naye.
18 do flee sexual immorality. Every sin whatever if shall do a man, outside the body is; the [one] however sinning sexually against [their] own body sins.
Ikimbieni zinaa. Dhambi zingine zote atendazo mtu ziko nje ya mwili wake, lakini yeye aziniye hutenda dhambi ndani ya mwili wake mwenyewe.
19 Or surely you know that the body of you a temple of the in you Holy Spirit is whom you have from God? And not you are your own?
Je, hamjui ya kwamba miili yenu ni hekalu la Roho Mtakatifu akaaye ndani yenu, ambaye mmepewa na Mungu? Ninyi si mali yenu wenyewe,
20 you were bought for with a price; do glorify therefore God in the body of you (and in the spirit of you which is of God. *K*)
kwa maana mmenunuliwa kwa gharama. Kwa hiyo mtukuzeni Mungu katika miili yenu.
