1 Corinthians 4
1 So us should regard a man as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.
૧દરેક માણસે અમને ખ્રિસ્તનાં સેવકો તથા ઈશ્વરના મર્મોને પ્રગટ કરનારા કારભારીઓ માનવા.
2 (In this case *N(k)O*) moreover it is required in the stewards that faithful one may be found.
૨વળી દરેક કારભારીએ વિશ્વાસુ થવું એ ખૂબ જ જરૂરનું છે.
3 Me myself however to [the] smallest matter it is that by you I may be examined or by a human court; In fact neither myself do I examine.
૩પણ તમે કે બીજા માણસો મારો ન્યાય કરો, એ વિષે મને કંઈ ચિંતા નથી; વળી હું પોતે પણ પોતાનો ન્યાય કરતો નથી.
4 No [thing] for against myself I have been conscious of; yet not by this have I been justified; the [One] however judging me [the] Lord is.
૪કેમ કે મને પોતાનામાં કશો દોષ દેખાતો નથી, પણ એથી હું ન્યાયી ઠરતો નથી; પણ મારો ન્યાય કરનાર તો પ્રભુ છે.
5 So then not before [the] time anything do judge until when may have come the Lord, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the motives of the hearts; and then the praise will come to each from God.
૫માટે તમે સમય અગાઉ, એટલે પ્રભુ આવે ત્યાં સુધી, કંઈ ન્યાય ન કરો; તેઓ અંધકારની છૂપી બાબતોને જાહેર કરશે, અને હૃદયોના ગુપ્ત ઇરાદા પ્રગટ કરશે; તે સમયે દરેકની પ્રશંસા ઈશ્વર તરફથી થશે.
6 These things now, brothers, I have applied to myself and Apollos on account of you, so that in us you may learn not beyond (what [things] *N(k)O*) has been written (to think *k*) that not one for one you be puffed up over the other.
૬ભાઈઓ, મેં એ વાતો તમારે સારુ ઉદાહરણ તરીકે મને પોતાને તથા આપોલસને લાગુ પાડી છે, જેથી તમે અમારાથી એવું શીખો કે જે લખવામાં આવ્યું છે તેની હદ ઓળંગવી નહિ અને એકના પક્ષમાં રહીને બીજાની વિરુદ્ધ કોઈ બડાઈ કરે નહિ.
7 Who for you makes different? What now have you which not you did receive? If now even you did receive [it], why boast you as not having received [it]?
૭કેમ કે કોણ તમારામાં ભેદ પાડે છે? તારી પાસે એવું શું છે જે તેં મફત પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું નથી? જો તેં મફતમાં પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું છે તો જાતે મેળવ્યું હોય તેમ અભિમાન કેમ કરે છે?
8 Already satiated you are, already you have been enriched, apart from us you reigned; and I wish that really you did reign, so that also we ourselves you may reign with.
૮તમે ક્યારનાયે સંતુષ્ટ થઈ ગયા છો, અને દ્રવ્યવાન પણ થઈ ગયા છો. અમારા વિના તમે રાજ કરવા લાગ્યા છો. અમારી પણ ઇચ્છા એ છે કે તમે રાજ કરો કે, જેથી અમે પણ તમારી સાથે રાજ કરીએ.
9 I think for (that *k*) God us apostles last has exhibited as appointed to death, because a spectacle we have become to the world both to angels and to men.
૯માટે હું વિચારું છું કે, ઈશ્વરે અમો પ્રેરિતોને જાણે કે છેલ્લાં મરણદંડ પામનારા હોય એવા બતાવ્યા છે; કેમ કે અમે વિશ્વની, સ્વર્ગદૂતોની તથા માણસોની આગળ તમાશા જેવા ખુલ્લાં થયા છીએ.
10 We ourselves [are] fools on account of Christ you yourselves however wise in Christ; we ourselves weak you yourselves however strong; You yourselves honored we ourselves however without honor.
૧૦ખ્રિસ્તને માટે અમે મૂર્ખ, પણ તમે ખ્રિસ્તમાં બુદ્ધિમાન; અમે નિર્બળ પણ તમે બળવાન; અને તમે માન પામનારા, પણ અમે અપમાન પામનારા થયા છીએ.
11 As far as the present hour both we hunger and thirst and are poorly clad and are buffeted and wander homeless
૧૧અત્યાર સુધી અમે ભૂખ્યા, તરસ્યા તથા વસ્ત્રો વિનાના છીએ, સતાવણી સહન કરીએ છીએ અને ઘરબાર વિનાના છીએ.
12 and we toil working with [our] own hands; Being reviled we bless, being persecuted we endure,
૧૨અમે હાથે કામ અને મહેનત કરીએ છીએ; નિંદા પામવા છતાં અમે આશીર્વાદ આપીએ છીએ; સતાવણી સહન કરીએ છીએ;
13 (being defamed *N(k)O*) we entreat, As [the] scum of the earth we have become, of all [the] refuse until now.
૧૩તિરસ્કૃત હોવા છતાંય વિનંતી કરીએ છીએ; અમે હજી સુધી માનવજગતથી ધિક્કાર પામેલા તથા કચરા જેવા છીએ.
14 Not shaming you do I write these things, but as children of mine beloved (admonishing [you]. *N(k)O*)
૧૪હું તમને શરમાવવા માટે આ વાતો લખતો નથી; પણ તમને મારાં પ્રિય બાળકો સમજીને શિક્ષણ આપું છું.
15 If for ten thousand guardians you shall have in Christ yet not many fathers; in for Christ Jesus through the gospel I myself you begot.
૧૫જોકે તમને ખ્રિસ્તમાં દસ હજાર શિક્ષકો હોય, તોપણ તમને ઘણાં પિતા નથી; કેમ કે ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુમાં, સુવાર્તાદ્વારા હું તમારો પિતા થયો છું.
16 I exhort therefore you, imitators of mine do become.
૧૬તેથી હું તમને વિનંતી કરું છું કે, તમે મારા અનુયાયીઓ થાઓ.
17 On account of this I sent to you Timothy, who is my child beloved and faithful in [the] Lord, who you will remind of the ways of mine that [are] in Christ (Jesus, *NO*) even as everywhere in every church I teach.
૧૭મેં તિમોથીને તમારી પાસે મોકલ્યો છે, તે ખ્રિસ્તમાં મારો પ્રિય તથા વિશ્વાસુ પુત્ર છે. જેમ હું દરેક જગ્યાએ સર્વ વિશ્વાસી સમુદાયોમાં શીખવું છું તેમ તે ખ્રિસ્તમાં મારા માર્ગો વિષે તમને સ્મરણ કરાવશે.
18 As to not coming now of me to you were puffed up some;
૧૮જાણે હું તમારી પાસે પાછો આવવાનો ન હોઉં, એવું સમજીને તમારામાંનાં કેટલાક અભિમાની થઈ ગયા છે.
19 I will come however soon to you, if the Lord wishes, and I will find out not the talk of those puffed up but the power.
૧૯પણ પ્રભુની ઇચ્છા હશે, તો હું તમારી પાસે વહેલો આવીશ, અને અભિમાનીઓનું બોલવું નહિ, પણ તેઓનું સામર્થ્ય જોઈ લઈશ.
20 Not for in word the kingdom of God [is] but in power.
૨૦કેમ કે ઈશ્વરનું રાજ્ય બોલવામાં નહિ, પણ સામર્થ્યમાં છે.
21 What desire you? With a rod I may come to you or in love a spirit then of gentleness?
૨૧તમારી શી ઇચ્છા છે? હું તમારી પાસે સોટી લઈને આવું, કે પ્રેમભાવે તથા નમ્રભાવે આવું?
