1 Corinthians 14
1 do earnestly pursue love; do earnestly desire now spiritual gifts, especially now that you may prophesy.
१प्रेम का अनुकरण करो, और आत्मिक वरदानों की भी धुन में रहो विशेष करके यह, कि भविष्यद्वाणी करो।
2 The [one] for speaking in a tongue not to men speaks but (*k*) to God; no [one] for hears, in the Spirit however he utters mysteries;
२क्योंकि जो अन्य भाषा में बातें करता है; वह मनुष्यों से नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर से बातें करता है; इसलिए कि उसकी बातें कोई नहीं समझता; क्योंकि वह भेद की बातें आत्मा में होकर बोलता है।
3 The [one] however prophesying to men speaks [for] edification and encouragement and consolation.
३परन्तु जो भविष्यद्वाणी करता है, वह मनुष्यों से उन्नति, और उपदेश, और शान्ति की बातें कहता है।
4 The [one] speaking in a tongue himself edifies, the [one] however prophesying [the] church edifies.
४जो अन्य भाषा में बातें करता है, वह अपनी ही उन्नति करता है; परन्तु जो भविष्यद्वाणी करता है, वह कलीसिया की उन्नति करता है।
5 I desire now all you to speak in tongues, rather however that you may prophesy; greater [is] (now *N(k)O*) the [one] prophesying than the [one] speaking in tongues except only unless (he shall interpret, *NK(o)*) so that the church edification may receive.
५मैं चाहता हूँ, कि तुम सब अन्य भाषाओं में बातें करो, परन्तु अधिकतर यह चाहता हूँ कि भविष्यद्वाणी करो: क्योंकि यदि अन्य भाषा बोलनेवाला कलीसिया की उन्नति के लिये अनुवाद न करे तो भविष्यद्वाणी करनेवाला उससे बढ़कर है।
6 (now *N(k)O*) however brothers, if I shall come to you in tongues speaking, what you will I profit, only unless to you I shall speak either in revelation or in knowledge or in prophecy or in teaching?
६इसलिए हे भाइयों, यदि मैं तुम्हारे पास आकर अन्य भाषा में बातें करूँ, और प्रकाश, या ज्ञान, या भविष्यद्वाणी, या उपदेश की बातें तुम से न कहूँ, तो मुझसे तुम्हें क्या लाभ होगा?
7 Even lifeless things a sound giving, whether flute or harp, if distinction to the sounds not (they shall give, *NK(O)*) how will it be known what is being piped or what is being harped?
७इसी प्रकार यदि निर्जीव वस्तुएँ भी, जिनसे ध्वनि निकलती है जैसे बाँसुरी, या बीन, यदि उनके स्वरों में भेद न हो तो जो फूँका या बजाया जाता है, वह क्यों पहचाना जाएगा?
8 Also for if indistinct [the] trumpet sound shall give, who will prepare himself for battle?
८और यदि तुरही का शब्द साफ न हो तो कौन लड़ाई के लिये तैयारी करेगा?
9 So also you yourselves with the tongue only unless intelligible speech you shall give, how will it be known what [is] being spoken? You will be for into [the] air speaking.
९ऐसे ही तुम भी यदि जीभ से साफ बातें न कहो, तो जो कुछ कहा जाता है वह कैसे समझा जाएगा? तुम तो हवा से बातें करनेवाले ठहरोगे।
10 So many if it would be kinds of languages (there are *N(k)O*) in [the] world, and none (of them *k*) without meaning;
१०जगत में कितने ही प्रकार की भाषाएँ क्यों न हों, परन्तु उनमें से कोई भी बिना अर्थ की न होगी।
11 If therefore not I shall know the power of the sound, I will be to the [one] speaking a foreigner and the [one] speaking to me myself a foreigner;
११इसलिए यदि मैं किसी भाषा का अर्थ न समझूँ, तो बोलनेवाले की दृष्टि में परदेशी ठहरूँगा; और बोलनेवाला मेरी दृष्टि में परदेशी ठहरेगा।
12 So also you yourselves, since zealous you are of spiritual gifts, for the edification of the church do seek that you may exceed.
१२इसलिए तुम भी जब आत्मिक वरदानों की धुन में हो, तो ऐसा प्रयत्न करो, कि तुम्हारे वरदानों की उन्नति से कलीसिया की उन्नति हो।
13 (For *N(k)O*) the [one] speaking in a tongue he should pray that he may interpret.
१३इस कारण जो अन्य भाषा बोले, तो वह प्रार्थना करे, कि उसका अनुवाद भी कर सके।
14 If for I shall pray in a tongue, the spirit of mine prays, but the mind of mine unfruitful is.
१४इसलिए यदि मैं अन्य भाषा में प्रार्थना करूँ, तो मेरी आत्मा प्रार्थना करती है, परन्तु मेरी बुद्धि काम नहीं देती।
15 What then is it? I will pray with the spirit, I will pray however also with the mind; I will sing praise with the spirit, I will sing praise however also with the mind.
१५तो क्या करना चाहिए? मैं आत्मा से भी प्रार्थना करूँगा, और बुद्धि से भी प्रार्थना करूँगा; मैं आत्मा से गाऊँगा, और बुद्धि से भी गाऊँगा।
16 Otherwise if (you shall bless in [the] *N(k)O*) spirit, the [one] filling the place of the uninstructed how will he say the Amen at your thanksgiving? since what you say [is that] not he knows;
१६नहीं तो यदि तू आत्मा ही से धन्यवाद करेगा, तो फिर अज्ञानी तेरे धन्यवाद पर आमीन क्यों कहेगा? इसलिए कि वह तो नहीं जानता, कि तू क्या कहता है?
17 You yourself truly for well are giving thanks, but the other not is edified.
१७तू तो भली भाँति से धन्यवाद करता है, परन्तु दूसरे की उन्नति नहीं होती।
18 I thank the God (of mine *k*) than all of you more (in tongues *NK(O)*) (speaking; *N(k)O*)
१८मैं अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूँ, कि मैं तुम सबसे अधिक अन्य भाषा में बोलता हूँ।
19 but in [the] church I desire five words (through *k*) (the with mind *N(k)O*) of mine to speak that also others I may instruct, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.
१९परन्तु कलीसिया में अन्य भाषा में दस हजार बातें कहने से यह मुझे और भी अच्छा जान पड़ता है, कि औरों के सिखाने के लिये बुद्धि से पाँच ही बातें कहूँ।
20 Brothers, not children do be in the minds, Yet in the evil do be little children, in the however thinking full grown do be.
२०हे भाइयों, तुम समझ में बालक न बनो: फिर भी बुराई में तो बालक रहो, परन्तु समझ में सयाने बनो।
21 In the law it has been written that By other tongues and by lips (of others *N(K)O*) I will speak to the people this, and not even thus will they hear Me, says [the] Lord.
२१व्यवस्था में लिखा है, कि प्रभु कहता है, “मैं अन्य भाषा बोलनेवालों के द्वारा, और पराए मुख के द्वारा इन लोगों से बात करूँगा तो भी वे मेरी न सुनेंगे।”
22 So then tongues for a sign are not to those believing but to the unbelieving, but prophecy [is] not to the unbelieving but to the believing.
२२इसलिए अन्य भाषाएँ विश्वासियों के लिये नहीं, परन्तु अविश्वासियों के लिये चिन्ह हैं, और भविष्यद्वाणी अविश्वासियों के लिये नहीं परन्तु विश्वासियों के लिये चिन्ह है।
23 If therefore shall gather the church whole together the place and all shall speak in tongues may come in however uninstructed ones or unbelievers, surely they will say that you are mad?
२३तो यदि कलीसिया एक जगह इकट्ठी हो, और सब के सब अन्य भाषा बोलें, और बाहरवाले या अविश्वासी लोग भीतर आ जाएँ तो क्या वे तुम्हें पागल न कहेंगे?
24 If however all shall prophesy, shall come in then some unbeliever or uninstructed, he is convicted by all, he is examined by all,
२४परन्तु यदि सब भविष्यद्वाणी करने लगें, और कोई अविश्वासी या बाहरवाला मनुष्य भीतर आ जाए, तो सब उसे दोषी ठहरा देंगे और परख लेंगे।
25 (and thus *K*) the secrets of the heart of him manifest become, And thus having fallen upon [his] face he will worship God declaring that certainly God among you is.
२५और उसके मन के भेद प्रगट हो जाएँगे, और तब वह मुँह के बल गिरकर परमेश्वर को दण्डवत् करेगा, और मान लेगा, कि सचमुच परमेश्वर तुम्हारे बीच में है।
26 What then is it, brothers? When you may come together, each (of you *K*) a psalm has, a teaching has, a revelation has, a tongue has, an interpretation has; All things for edification (should be. *N(k)O*)
२६इसलिए हे भाइयों क्या करना चाहिए? जब तुम इकट्ठे होते हो, तो हर एक के हृदय में भजन, या उपदेश, या अन्य भाषा, या प्रकाश, या अन्य भाषा का अर्थ बताना रहता है: सब कुछ आत्मिक उन्नति के लिये होना चाहिए।
27 If with a tongue anyone speaks, [let it be] by two or the most three and in turn; and one should interpret;
२७यदि अन्य भाषा में बातें करनी हों, तो दो-दो, या बहुत हो तो तीन-तीन जन बारी-बारी बोलें, और एक व्यक्ति अनुवाद करे।
28 If however not there shall be an interpreter, he should be silent in [the] church, to himself then he should speak and to God.
२८परन्तु यदि अनुवाद करनेवाला न हो, तो अन्य भाषा बोलनेवाला कलीसिया में शान्त रहे, और अपने मन से, और परमेश्वर से बातें करे।
29 Prophets then two or three should speak, and the others should discern;
२९भविष्यद्वक्ताओं में से दो या तीन बोलें, और शेष लोग उनके वचन को परखें।
30 If however to another a revelation shall be made sitting by, the first should be silent.
३०परन्तु यदि दूसरे पर जो बैठा है, कुछ ईश्वरीय प्रकाश हो, तो पहला चुप हो जाए।
31 You are able for [one] by one all to prophesy, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted;
३१क्योंकि तुम सब एक-एक करके भविष्यद्वाणी कर सकते हो ताकि सब सीखें, और सब शान्ति पाएँ।
32 And spirits of prophets to prophets are subject;
३२और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की आत्मा भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के वश में है।
33 Not for He is of disorder the God but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
३३क्योंकि परमेश्वर गड़बड़ी का नहीं, परन्तु शान्ति का कर्ता है; जैसा पवित्र लोगों की सब कलीसियाओं में है।
34 the women (of you *K*) in the churches they should be silent; Not for (it is allowed *N(k)O*) to them to speak, but (they should be submitted *N(k)O*) even as also the law says.
३४स्त्रियाँ कलीसिया की सभा में चुप रहें, क्योंकि उन्हें बातें करने की अनुमति नहीं, परन्तु अधीन रहने की आज्ञा है: जैसा व्यवस्था में लिखा भी है।
35 If however anything (to learn *NK(o)*) they desire, at home [their] own husbands they should ask; shameful for it is (for a woman *N(K)O*) to speak in [the] church.
३५और यदि वे कुछ सीखना चाहें, तो घर में अपने-अपने पति से पूछें, क्योंकि स्त्री का कलीसिया में बातें करना लज्जा की बात है।
36 Or from you the word of God has gone out? Or to you only has it come?
३६क्यों परमेश्वर का वचन तुम में से निकला? या केवल तुम ही तक पहुँचा है?
37 If anyone considers a prophet himself to be or spiritual, he should recognize [the] things I write to you that (of the *k*) Lord (is [the] command; *N(K)O*)
३७यदि कोई मनुष्य अपने आपको भविष्यद्वक्ता या आत्मिक जन समझे, तो यह जान ले, कि जो बातें मैं तुम्हें लिखता हूँ, वे प्रभु की आज्ञाएँ हैं।
38 If however anyone is ignorant, (him is ignored. *N(k)O*)
३८परन्तु यदि कोई न माने, तो न माने।
39 So, brothers (of mine, *no*) do earnestly desire to prophesy, and to speak not do forbid in tongues.
३९अतः हे भाइयों, भविष्यद्वाणी करने की धुन में रहो और अन्य भाषा बोलने से मना न करो।
40 All things (however *no*) properly and with order should be done.
४०पर सारी बातें सभ्यता और क्रमानुसार की जाएँ।
