1 Chronicles 7

1 And to [the] sons of Issachar Tola and Puah (Jashub *Q(K)*) and Shimron four.

And the sonnes of Issachar were Tola and Puah, Iashub, and Shimron, foure,

2 And [the] sons of Tola Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Jibsam and Samuel chiefs of [the] house of ancestors their of Tola mighty [men] of strength to generations their number their in [the] days of David [was] twenty and two thousand and six hundred.

And the sonnes of Tola, Vzzi, and Rephaiah, and Ieriel, and Iahmai, and Iibsam, and Shemuel, heads in the housholdes of their fathers. Of Tola were valiant men of warre in their generations, whose nomber was in the dayes of Dauid two and twentie thousand, and sixe hundreth.

3 And [the] sons of Uzzi Izrahiah and [the] sons Izrahiah Michael and Obadiah and Joel Isshiah five chiefs all of them.

And the sonne of Vzzi was Izrahaiah, and the sonnes of Izrahaiah, Michael, and Obadiah, and Ioel, and Isshiah, fiue men all princes.

4 And with them to generations their of [the] house of ancestors their troops of war of warfare thirty and six thousand for they had many wives and sons.

And with them in their generations after the houshold of their fathers were bandes of men of warre for battel, sixe and thirtie thousand: for they had many wiues and children.

5 And relatives their to all [the] clans of Issachar mighty [men] of strength [was] eighty and seven thousand recording genealogy they of everyone.

And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of warre, rekoned in all by their genealogies foure score and seuen thousand.

6 Benjamin Bela and Beker and Jediael three.

The sonnes of Beniamin were Bela, and Becher, and Iediael, three.

7 And [the] sons of Bela Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri five chiefs of a house of ancestors mighty [men] of strength and recording genealogy they [was] twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.

And the sonnes of Bela, Ezbon, and Vzzi, and Vzziel, and Ierimoth, and Iri, fiue heads of the housholds of their fathers, valiant men of warre, and were rekoned by their genealogies, two and twentie thousand and thirtie and foure.

8 And [the] sons of Beker Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri and Jeremoth and Abijah and Anathoth and Alemeth all these [were] [the] sons of Beker.

And the sonnes of Becher, Zemirah, and Ioash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Ierimoth, and Abiah, and Anathoth, and Alameth: all these were the sonnes of Becher.

9 And recording genealogy they to generations their chiefs of [the] house of ancestors their mighty [men] of strength [was] twenty thousand and two hundred.

And they were nombred by their genealogies according to their generations, and the chiefe of the houses of their fathers, valiant men of warre, twenty thousand and two hundreth.

10 And [the] sons of Jediael Bilhan and [the] sons of Bilhan (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Benjamin and Ehud and Kenaanah and Zethan and Tarshish and Ahishahar.

And the sonne of Iediael was Bilhan, and the sonnes of Bilhan, Ieush, and Beniamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.

11 All these [were] [the] sons of Jediael to [the] chiefs of the fathers mighty [men] of strength seven-teen thousand and two hundred [those who] went forth of war for battle.

All these were the sonnes of Iediael, chiefe of the fathers, valiant men of warre, seuenteene thousand and two hundreth, marching in battel aray to the warre.

12 And Shuppim and Huppim [were] [the] sons of Ir Hushim [were] [the] sons of Aher.

And Shuppim, and Huppim were ye sonnes of Ir, but Hushim was the sonne of another.

13 [the] sons of Naphtali Jahziel and Guni and Jezer and Shallum [the] sons of Bilhah.

The sonnes of Naphtali, Iahziel, and Guni, and Iezer, and Shallum of the sonnes of Bilhah.

14 [the] sons of Manasseh Asriel whom she bore concubine his Aramean she bore Makir [the] father of Gilead.

The sonne of Manasseh was Ashriel whom she bare vnto him, but his concubine of Aram bare Machir the father of Gilead.

15 And Makir he took a wife for Huppim and for Shuppim and [the] name of sister his [was] Maacah and [the] name of the second [son] [was] Zelophehad and they belonged to Zelophehad daughters.

And Machir tooke to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, and the name of their sister was Maachah. And the name of the second sonne was Zelophehad, and Zelophehad had daughters.

16 And she bore Maacah [the] wife of Makir a son and she called name his Peresh and [the] name of brother his Sheresh and sons his [were] Ulam and Rekem.

And Maachah the wife of Machir bare a sonne, and called his name Peresh, and the name of his brother was Sheresh: and his sonnes were Vlam and Rakem.

17 And [the] sons of Ulam Bedan these [were] [the] descendants of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh.

And the sonne of Vlam was Bedan. These were the sonnes of Gilead the sonne of Machir, the sonne of Manasseh.

18 And sister his Hammoleketh she bore Ishhod and Abiezer and Mahlah.

And his sister Molecheth bare Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.

19 And they were [the] sons of Shemida Ahian and Shechem and Likhi and Aniam.

And the sonnes of Shemida were Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

20 And [the] descendants of Ephraim Shuthelah and Bered son his and Tahath son his and Eleadah son his and Tahath son his.

The sonnes also of Ephraim were Shuthelah, and Bered his sonne, and Tahath his sonne, and his sonne Eladah, and Tahath his sonne,

21 And Zabad son his and Shuthelah son his and Ezer and Elead and they killed them [the] men of Gath who were born in the land for they went down to take livestock their.

And Zabad his sonne, and Shuthelah his sonne, and Ezer, and Elead: and the men of Gath that were borne in the land, slewe them, because they came downe to take away their cattel.

22 And he mourned Ephraim father their days many and they came brothers his to comfort him.

Therefore Ephraim their father mourned many dayes, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 And he went into wife his and she conceived and she bore a son and he called name his Beriah for in distress it was in house his.

And when he went in to his wife, she conceiued, and bare him a sonne, and he called his name Beriah, because affliction was in his house.

24 And daughter his [was] Sheerah and she built Beth Horon lower and upper and Uzzen Sheerah.

And his daughter was Sherah, which built Beth-horon the nether, and the vpper, and Vzzen Sheerah.

25 And Rephah son his and Resheph (son his *X*) and Telah son his and Tahan son his.

And Rephah was his sonne, and Resheph, and Telah his sonne, and Tahan his sonne,

26 Ladan son his Ammihud son his Elishama son his.

Laadan his sonne, Ammihud his sonne, Elishama his sonne,

27 Nun son his Joshua son his.

Non his sonne, Iehoshua his sonne.

28 And possession their and dwelling places their [were] Beth-el and daughters its and to the east Naaran and to the west Gezer and daughters its and Shechem and daughters its to Ayyah and daughters its.

And their possessions and their habitations were Beth-el, and the villages thereof, and Eastward Naaran, and Westwarde Gezer with the villages thereof, Shechem also and the villages thereof, vnto Azzah, and the villages thereof,

29 And on [the] hands of [the] descendants of Manasseh Beth Shan and daughters its Taanach and daughters its Megiddo and daughters its Dor and daughters its in these they dwelt [the] descendants of Joseph [the] son of Israel.

And by the places of the children of Manasseh, Beth-shean and her villages, Taanach and her villages, Megiddo and her villages, Dor and her villages. In those dwelt the children of Ioseph the sonne of Israel.

30 [the] sons of Asher Imnah and Ishvah and Ishvi and Beriah and Serah [was] sister their.

The sonnes of Asher were Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.

31 And [the] sons of Beriah Heber and Malkiel he [was] [the] father (Birzaith. *Q(K)*)

And the sonnes of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, which is the father of Birzauith.

32 And Heber he fathered Japhlet and Shomer and Hotham and Shua sister their.

And Heber begate Iaphlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shuah their sister.

33 And [the] sons of Japhlet Pasach and Bimhal and Ashvath these [were] [the] sons of Japhlet.

And the sonnes of Iaphlet were Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashuath: these were the children of Iaphlet.

34 And [the] sons of Shemer Ahi (and Rohgah and Hubbah *Q(K)*) and Aram.

And the sonnes of Shamer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Iehubbah, and Aram.

35 And [the] son of Helem brother his Zophah and Imna and Shelesh and Amal.

And the sonnes of his brother Helem were Zophah, and Iimna, and Shelesh and Amal.

36 [the] sons of Zophah Suah and Harnepher and Shual and Beri and Imrah.

The sonnes of Zophah, Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,

37 Bezer and Hod and Shamma and Shilshah and Ithran and Beera.

Bezer and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.

38 And [the] sons of Jether Jephunneh and Pispah and Ara.

And the sonnes of Iether, Iephunneh, and Pispa and Ara.

39 And [the] sons of Ulla Arah and Hanniel and Rizia.

And the sonnes of Vlla, Harah, and Haniel, and Rizia.

40 All these [were] [the] descendants of Asher [the] chiefs of [the] house of the ancestors chosen mighty [men] of strength [the] chiefs of the leaders and recording genealogy they in the army in battle number their [was] men twenty and six thousand.

All these were the children of Asher, the heads of their fathers houses, noble men, valiant men of warre and chiefe princes, and they were rekoned by their genealogies for warre and for battell to the nomber of sixe and twentie thousand men.
