1 Chronicles 4
1 [the] sons of Judah Perez Hezron and Carmi and Hur and Shobal.
Ilmaan Yihuudaa: Faares, Hezroon, Karmii, Huurii fi Sobaal.
2 And Reaiah [the] son of Shobal he fathered Jahath and Jahath he fathered Ahumai and Lahad these [were] [the] clans of the Zorathite[s].
Reʼaayaan ilmi Sobaal abbaa Yahaatiiti; Yahaati immoo abbaa Ahuumaayii fi Laahadii ti. Isaan kunneen balbalawwan Zoraatotaa ti.
3 And these [were] [the] father of Etam Jezreel and Ishma and Idbash and [the] name of sister their [was] Hazelelponi.
Ilmaan Eexaam kanneenii dha: Yizriʼeel, Yishmaa fi Yidbaashi. Obboleettiin isaanii immoo Hazelelphoonii jedhamti.
4 And Penuel [was] [the] father of Gedor and Ezer [was] [the] father of Hushah these [were] [the] descendants of Hur [the] firstborn of Ephrath [the] father of Beth-lehem.
Phenuuʼeel abbaa Gedoor; Eezer immoo abbaa Huushaam. Isaan kunneen sanyii Huuri ilma Efraataa hangaftichaatii fi abbaa Beetlihem sanaa ti.
5 And to Ashhur [the] father of Tekoa they belonged two wives Helah and Naarah.
Ashihuur abbaan Teqooʼaa niitota lama kanneen Heelaa fi Naʼaraa jedhaman qaba ture.
6 And she bore to him Naarah Ahuzzam and Hepher and Temeni and Haahashtari these [were] [the] sons of Naarah.
Naʼaraan ilmaan Ahuzaam, Heefer, Teemenii fi Haaʼahashitaar jedhaman deesseef. Ilmaan Naʼaraa isaan kanneen turan.
7 And [the] sons of Helah Zereth (and Zohar *Q(K)*) and Ethnan.
Ilmaan Heelaa: Zeret, Zooharii fi Etnaan;
8 And Koz he fathered Anub and the Zobebah [clans] and [the] clans of Aharhel [the] son of Harum.
Qoosi abbaa Anuub, abbaa Hazobeebaa fi abbaa balbalawwan Ahariheel ilma Haaruumiti.
9 And he was Jabez honored more than brothers his and mother his she had called name his Jabez saying for I gave birth in pain.
Yaabeex nama obboloota isaa caalaa ulfina qabu ture; haatii isaa, “Ani dhiphinaanan isa daʼe” jettee Yaabeex jettee isa moggaafte.
10 And he called Jabez to [the] God of Israel saying if really you will bless me and you will increase territory my and it will be hand your with me and you will act from harm to not to hurt me and he brought God [that] which he had asked for.
Yaabeex immoo akkana jedhee Waaqa Israaʼelitti iyyate; “Ati na eebbisi; biyya koos naaf balʼisi! Akka ani hin miidhamnee fi akka ani dhiphina jalaa baʼuuf harki kee na wajjin haa jiraatu.” Waaqnis waan inni kadhate sana ni kenneef.
11 And Kelub [the] brother of Shuhah he fathered Mehir he [was] [the] father of Eshton.
Kiluub obboleessi Shuhaa abbaa Mihiirii ti; Mehiir immoo abbaa Eshitooniti.
12 And Eshton he fathered Beth-Rapha and Paseah and Tehinnah [the] father of Ir-nahash these [were] [the] men of Recah.
Eshitoonis abbaa Beet Raafaan, abbaa Faasehaa fi Tehiinaa ti; Tahiinaan immoo abbaa Iir Naahaashii ti. Isaan kunneen namoota Reekaa ti.
13 And [the] sons of Kenaz Othniel and Seraiah and [the] sons of Othniel Hathath. (And Meonothai. *X*)
Ilmaan Qenaz: Otniiʼeelii fi Seraayaa. Ilmaan Otniiʼeel: Hataatii fi Maʼoonotaayi.
14 And Meonothai he fathered Ophrah and Seraiah he fathered Joab [the] father of Ge Harashim for craftsmen they were.
Meʼoonotaayi abbaa Ofraa ti. Seraayaan abbaa Yooʼaabii ti; Yooʼaab immoo abbaa Gee Haraashiimii ti. Maqaan kun sababii isaan ogummaa hojii harkaa qabaniif kennameef.
15 And [the] sons of Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh Iru Elah and Naam and [the] sons of Elah and Kenaz.
Ilmaan Kaaleb ilma Yefunee: Iiruu, Eelaa fi Naʼaam. Ilmi Eelaa: Qenaz.
16 And [the] sons of Jehallelel Ziph and Ziphah Tiria and Asarel.
Ilmaan Yehaleliʼeel: Ziifii, Ziifaa, Tiiriyaa fi Asareel.
17 And [the] son of Ezrah Jether and Mered and Epher and Jalon and she conceived Miriam and Shammai and Ishbah [the] father of Eshtemoa.
Ilmaan Izraa: Yeteer, Mered, Eeferii fi Yaaloon. Niitota Mered keessaa isheen tokko Miiriyaam, Shamaayii fi Yishibaa abbaa Eshtimoʼaa sana deesse.
18 And wife his Judahitess she bore Jared [the] father of Gedor and Heber [the] father of Socoh and Jekuthiel [the] father of Zanoah and these [were] [the] sons of Bithiah [the] daughter of Pharaoh whom he had taken Mered.
Niitiin isaa dubartiin Yihuudaa sunis Yaared abbaa Gedoor, Hebeer abbaa Sookooniitii fi Yequutiiʼeel abbaa Zaanoʼaa deesse. Isaan kunneen ijoollee Bitiyaa intala Faraʼoon kan Mered fuudhe sanaa ti.
19 And [the] sons of [the] wife of Hodiah [the] sister of Naham [were] [the] father of Keilah Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
Ilmaan niitiin Hoodiyaa obboleettiin Naham sun deesse: Abbaa Qeyiilaa namicha Garmii sanaatii fi Eshtimoʼaa namicha Maʼakaa ti.
20 And [the] sons of Shimon Amnon and Rinnah Ben-Hanan (and Tilon *Q(K)*) and [the] sons of Ishi Zoheth and Ben Zoheth.
Ilmaan Simiʼoon: Amnoon, Riinaa, Ben-Haanaanii fi Tiiloon. Ilmaan Yishiʼii: Zoheetii fi Ben-Zoheetii ti.
21 [the] sons of Shelah [the] son of Judah Er [the] father of Lecah and Laadah [the] father of Mareshah and [the] clans of [the] House of [the] Work of Fine linen of [the] House of Ashbea.
Ilmaan Sheelaa ilma Yihuudaa: Eer abbaa Leekaa, Laʼadaa abbaa Maareeshaatii fi balbalawwan Beet Ashibeeʼaatti warra wayyaa quncee talbaa haphii hojjetanii.
22 And Jokim and [the] men of Kozeba and Joash and Saraph who they ruled to Moab and Jashubi Lehem and the words [are] ancient.
Yooqiim, namoota Koozeebaa, Yooʼaashii fi Saaraaf isa Moʼaabii fi Yaashubiileheem bulchu. Barreeffamni kunneenis kan bara durii ti.
23 They [were] the potters and [the] inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah with the king in service his they dwelt there.
Isaanis suphee dhooftuu Nexaayiimii fi Gedeeraa keessa jiraatan turan; jarri kun mootichaaf hojjechaa achi jiraatu ture.
24 [the] descendants of Simeon Nemuel and Jamin Jarib Zerah Shaul.
Ilmaan Simiʼoon: Nemuuʼeel, Yaamiin, Yaariib, Zeraa fi Shaawul;
25 Shallum son his Mibsam son his Mishma son his.
Shaluum ilma Saaʼuul ture; Mibsaam ilma Shaluumiti; Mishmaa immoo ilma Mabsaamiti.
26 And [the] descendants of Mishma Hammuel son his Zaccur son his Shimei son his.
Ilmaan Mishmaa: Ilma isaa Hamuuʼeel, ilma isaa Zakuurii fi ilma isaa Shimeʼii.
27 And [belonged] to Shimei sons six-teen and daughters six and [belonged] to brothers his not sons many and all clan their not they increased up to [the] descendants of Judah.
Shimeʼiin ilmaan kudha jaʼaa fi intallan jaʼa qaba ture; obboloonni isaa garuu ijoollee hedduu hin qaban ture; sababii kanaaf balbalawwan isaanii hundinuu akka gosa Yihuudaa baayʼee hin turre.
28 And they dwelt in Beer Sheba and Moladah and Hazar Shual.
Isaanis Bersheebaa, Molaadaa, Hazar Shuuʼaal,
29 And in Bilhah and in Ezem and in Tolad.
Bilihaa, Ezem, Toolaad,
30 And in Bethuel and in Hormah and in Ziklag.
Betuuʼeel, Hormaa, Siiqlaag,
31 And in Beth Marcaboth and in Hazar Susim and in Beth Biri and in Shaaraim these [were] cities their until reigned David.
Beet Markaabot, Hazar Susiim, Beet Biirii fi Shaʼarayiim keessa jiraatan. Magaalaawwan kunneen hamma bara mootummaa Daawitiitti magaalaawwan isaanii turan.
32 And villages their [were] Etam and Ain Rimmon and Tochen and Ashan cities five.
Akkasumas gandoota Eexaam, Ayin, Reemoon, Tookkenii fi Ashaan jechuunis magaalaa shananii fi
33 And all villages their which [were] around the cities these to Baal this [was] dwelling places their and recording genealogies they [belonged] to them.
gandoota naannoo isaaniitti argaman hunda keessa hamma Baʼaaliitti jiraatu ture. Kunneen iddoo isaan jiraatanii dha. Isaanis galmee hidda dhaloota isaanii kaawwatanii jiran.
34 And Meshobab and Jamlech and Joshah [the] son of Amaziah.
Meshoobaab, Yamleek, Yooshaa ilma Amasiyaa,
35 And Joel and Jehu [the] son of Joshibiah [the] son of Seraiah [the] son of Asiel.
Yooʼeel, Yehuu ilma Yooshibiyaa, ilma Seraayaa, ilma Asiiʼeel,
36 And Elioenai and Jaakobah and Jeshohaiah and Asaiah and Adiel and Jesimiel and Benaiah.
akkasumas Eliiyooʼeenayi, Yaaʼiqoobaa, Yashoohayaa, Asaayaa, Aadiiʼeel, Yesiimiʼeel, Benaayaa,
37 And Ziza [the] son of Shipi [the] son of Allon [the] son of Jedaiah [the] son of Shimri [the] son of Shemaiah.
Ziizaa ilma Shiifii, ilma Aloon, ilma Yedaayaa, ilma Shimrii, ilma Shemaaʼiyaa.
38 These who came by names [were] leaders in clans their and [the] house of ancestors their they spread out to abundance.
Namoonni maqaan isaanii kanaa olitti himame kunneen hooggantoota balbala isaanii turan. Baayʼinni maatii isaaniis akka malee dabalaa dhufe;
39 And they went to [the] entrance of Gedor to to [the] east of the valley to seek pasture for flock[s] their.
isaanis bushaayee isaaniitiif lafa dheedaa barbaacha hamma moggaa Gedoor kan gama baʼa sululaa jiru sanaatti deeman.
40 And they found pasture fertile and good and the land [was] broad of both hands and at peace and at ease for [were] from Ham the inhabitants there before.
Isaanis naannoo sanatti lafa dheedaa gabbataa fi gaarii argatan; lafni sunis balʼaa, kan nagaa fi tasgabbii qabu ture. Bara durii gosoonni Haamii naannoo sana jiraachaa turan.
41 And they came these who were written by names in [the] days of - Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and they struck down tents their and (the Meunites *Q(K)*) who they were found there and they totally destroyed them until the day this and they dwelt in place of them for pasture for flock[s] their [was] there.
Namoonni maqaan isaanii dhaʼame kunneen bara Hisqiyaas mootii Yihuudaa ture keessa dhufan. Isaan akkuma hamma harʼaatti illee mulʼatu qubata Kaamotaatii fi Meʼuunoota achi jiraachaa turanii dhaʼanii guutumaan guutuutti isaan barbadeessan. Ergasiis sababii lafa dheedaa balʼaa bushaayee isaaniitiif argataniif lafa jaraa irra ni qubatan.
42 And some of them - of [the] descendants of Simeon they went to [the] mountain of Seir men five hundred and Pelatiah and Neariah and Rephaiah and Uzziel [the] sons of Ishi [were] at head their.
Simiʼoonota kanneen keessaa namoonni dhibba shan ilmaan Yishiʼii Phelaatiyaa, Naʼaariyaa, Refaayaa fi Uziiʼeel hoogganamanii biyya gaaraa Seeʼiir weeraran.
43 And they struck down [the] remnant of the escaped remnant of Amalek and they have dwelt there until the day this.
Isaanis Amaaleqoota miliqanii hafan balleessanii hamma harʼaatti achuma jiraatan.
