1 Chronicles 4
1 [the] sons of Judah Perez Hezron and Carmi and Hur and Shobal.
യെഹൂദയുടെ പിൻഗാമികൾ: ഫേരെസ്, ഹെസ്രോൻ, കർമി, ഹൂർ, ശോബാൽ.
2 And Reaiah [the] son of Shobal he fathered Jahath and Jahath he fathered Ahumai and Lahad these [were] [the] clans of the Zorathite[s].
ശോബാലിന്റെ മകനായ രെയായാവ് യഹത്തിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു; യഹത്ത് അഹൂമായിയുടെയും ലാഹദിന്റെയും പിതാവും. സോരാത്യകുലങ്ങൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു.
3 And these [were] [the] father of Etam Jezreel and Ishma and Idbash and [the] name of sister their [was] Hazelelponi.
ഏതാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: യെസ്രീൽ, യിശ്മാ, യിദ്ബാശ്. അവരുടെ സഹോദരിയായിരുന്നു ഹസ്സെലെല്പോനി.
4 And Penuel [was] [the] father of Gedor and Ezer [was] [the] father of Hushah these [were] [the] descendants of Hur [the] firstborn of Ephrath [the] father of Beth-lehem.
പെനൂവേൽ ഗെദോരിന്റെയും ഹൂശായുടെ പിതാവായ ഏസെറിന്റെയും പിതാവായിരുന്നു. ബേത്ലഹേമിന്റെ പിതാവും എഫ്രാത്തയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനുമായ ഹൂരിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു.
5 And to Ashhur [the] father of Tekoa they belonged two wives Helah and Naarah.
തെക്കോവയുടെ പിതാവായ അശ്ഹൂരിന് ഹേലാ, നയരാ എന്നീ രണ്ടു ഭാര്യമാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
6 And she bore to him Naarah Ahuzzam and Hepher and Temeni and Haahashtari these [were] [the] sons of Naarah.
അശ്ഹൂരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ അഹുസ്സാം, ഹേഫെർ, തേമനി, ഹായഹസ്താരി എന്നിവർക്ക് നയരാ ജന്മംനൽകി. നയരായുടെ പിൻഗാമികൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു.
7 And [the] sons of Helah Zereth (and Zohar *Q(K)*) and Ethnan.
ഹേലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സേരെത്ത്, യെസോഹർ, എത്നാൻ, കോസ്.
8 And Koz he fathered Anub and the Zobebah [clans] and [the] clans of Aharhel [the] son of Harum.
ഈ കോസ് ആനൂബിന്റെയും സോബേബയുടെയും ഹാരൂമിന്റെ മകനായ അഹർഹേലിന്റെ കുലങ്ങളുടെയും പിതാവായിരുന്നു.
9 And he was Jabez honored more than brothers his and mother his she had called name his Jabez saying for I gave birth in pain.
യബ്ബേസ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെക്കാൾ അധികം ബഹുമാന്യനായിരുന്നു. “ഞാൻ അവനെ വേദനയോടെ പ്രസവിച്ചു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് അവന്റെ അമ്മ അവന് യബ്ബേസ് എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
10 And he called Jabez to [the] God of Israel saying if really you will bless me and you will increase territory my and it will be hand your with me and you will act from harm to not to hurt me and he brought God [that] which he had asked for.
യബ്ബേസ് ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തോട് ഈ വിധം അപേക്ഷിച്ചു: “ദൈവമേ, അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും എന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിരുകൾ വിപുലമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണമേ! അവിടത്തെ കൈ എന്നോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണേ! എന്നെ വിപത്തുകളിൽനിന്നു കാത്തുകൊള്ളണമേ, അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ വേദനകളിൽനിന്നു മോചിതനാകട്ടെ.” ദൈവം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.
11 And Kelub [the] brother of Shuhah he fathered Mehir he [was] [the] father of Eshton.
ശൂഹയുടെ സഹോദരനായ കെലൂബ് മെഹീറിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു; അയാൾ എസ്തോന്റെ പിതാവും
12 And Eshton he fathered Beth-Rapha and Paseah and Tehinnah [the] father of Ir-nahash these [were] [the] men of Recah.
എസ്തോൻ ബേത്ത്-രാഫയുടെയും പാസേഹയുടെയും ഈർ-നാഹാശിന്റെ പിതാവായ തെഹിന്നയുടെയും പിതാവായിരുന്നു. ഇവർ രേഖയുടെ പിൻഗാമികളായിരുന്നു.
13 And [the] sons of Kenaz Othniel and Seraiah and [the] sons of Othniel Hathath. (And Meonothai. *X*)
കെനസ്സിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഒത്നിയേൽ, സെരായാവ്. ഒത്നിയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹഥത്ത്, മെയോനോഥയി.
14 And Meonothai he fathered Ophrah and Seraiah he fathered Joab [the] father of Ge Harashim for craftsmen they were.
മെയോനോഥയി ഒഫ്രയുടെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു. സെരായാവ് യോവാബിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു, ഗേ-ഹരാശീമിന്റെ പിതാവും ആയിരുന്നു. ഗേ-ഹരാശീമിലെ നിവാസികൾ കരകൗശലവേലയിൽ വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യമുള്ളതിനാൽ ആ നഗരത്തിന് ആ പേരു ലഭിച്ചു.
15 And [the] sons of Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh Iru Elah and Naam and [the] sons of Elah and Kenaz.
യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഈരു, ഏലാ, നായം. ഏലയുടെ പുത്രൻ: കെനസ്സ്.
16 And [the] sons of Jehallelel Ziph and Ziphah Tiria and Asarel.
യെഹല്ലെലേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സീഫ്, സീഫാ, തിര്യാ, അസരെയേൽ.
17 And [the] son of Ezrah Jether and Mered and Epher and Jalon and she conceived Miriam and Shammai and Ishbah [the] father of Eshtemoa.
എസ്രയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യേഥെർ, മേരെദ്, ഏഫെർ, യാലോൻ. മേരെദിന്റെ ഭാര്യമാരിൽ ഒരുവൾ, മിര്യാം, ശമ്മായി, എസ്തെമോവയുടെ പിതാവായ യിശ്ബഹ് എന്നിവർക്ക് ജന്മംനൽകി.
18 And wife his Judahitess she bore Jared [the] father of Gedor and Heber [the] father of Socoh and Jekuthiel [the] father of Zanoah and these [were] [the] sons of Bithiah [the] daughter of Pharaoh whom he had taken Mered.
ഫറവോന്റെ പുത്രിയും മേരെദിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായ ബിഥ്യയുടെ മക്കൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ, യെഹൂദാഗോത്രജയായ ഭാര്യ, ഗെദോരിന്റെ പിതാവായ യാരെദ്, സോഖോവിന്റെ പിതാവായ ഹേബെർ, സനോഹയുടെ പിതാവായ യെക്കൂഥീയേൽ എന്നിവർക്ക് ജന്മംനൽകി.
19 And [the] sons of [the] wife of Hodiah [the] sister of Naham [were] [the] father of Keilah Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
ഹോദീയായുടെ ഭാര്യയായിരുന്നു നഹമിന്റെ സഹോദരി. അവളുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗർമ്യനായ കെയീലയുടെ പിതാവ്, മാഖാത്യനായ എസ്തെമോവ,
20 And [the] sons of Shimon Amnon and Rinnah Ben-Hanan (and Tilon *Q(K)*) and [the] sons of Ishi Zoheth and Ben Zoheth.
ശീമോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്നോൻ, രിന്നാ, ബൻ-ഹാനാൻ, തീലോൻ, യിശിയുടെ പിൻഗാമികൾ: സോഹേത്തും ബെൻ-സോഹേത്തും,
21 [the] sons of Shelah [the] son of Judah Er [the] father of Lecah and Laadah [the] father of Mareshah and [the] clans of [the] House of [the] Work of Fine linen of [the] House of Ashbea.
യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ ശേലഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ലേഖയുടെ പിതാവായ ഏർ, മാരേശയുടെയും ബത്ത്-അശ്ബേയയിലെ ശണവസ്ത്രത്തൊഴിലാളി കുലങ്ങളുടെയും പിതാവായ ലദാ,
22 And Jokim and [the] men of Kozeba and Joash and Saraph who they ruled to Moab and Jashubi Lehem and the words [are] ancient.
കൊസേബാ നിവാസികളായ യോക്കീം, മോവാബിലെയും യശൂബി-ലെഹേമിലെയും ഭരണകർത്താക്കളായിരുന്ന യോവാശും സാരാഫും. (പ്രാചീനകാലത്തെ രേഖകളിൽനിന്നുള്ള വിവരങ്ങളാണിവ).
23 They [were] the potters and [the] inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah with the king in service his they dwelt there.
അവർ നെതായീമിലും ഗെദേരയിലും താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന കളിമൺപാത്ര നിർമാതാക്കളായിരുന്നു. അവർ അവിടെ താമസിച്ച് രാജാവിനുവേണ്ടി വേല ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
24 [the] descendants of Simeon Nemuel and Jamin Jarib Zerah Shaul.
ശിമെയോന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ: നെമൂവേൽ, യാമിൻ, യാരീബ്, സേരഹ്, ശാവൂൽ.
25 Shallum son his Mibsam son his Mishma son his.
ശല്ലൂം ശാവൂലിന്റെ മകനായിരുന്നു. മിബ്ശാം ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ മകനും മിശ്മാ മിബ്ശാമിന്റെ പൗത്രനും ആയിരുന്നു.
26 And [the] descendants of Mishma Hammuel son his Zaccur son his Shimei son his.
മിശ്മായുടെ പിൻഗാമികൾ: ഹമ്മൂവേൽ മിശ്മായുടെ മകൻ, സക്കൂർ ഹമ്മൂവേലിന്റെ മകൻ, ശിമെയി സക്കൂറിന്റെ മകൻ.
27 And [belonged] to Shimei sons six-teen and daughters six and [belonged] to brothers his not sons many and all clan their not they increased up to [the] descendants of Judah.
ശിമെയിക്ക് പതിനാറു പുത്രന്മാരും ആറു പുത്രിമാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്ക് കൂടുതൽ സന്താനങ്ങളില്ലായിരുന്നു. അതിനാൽ അവരുടെ കുലം മൊത്തത്തിൽ യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തോളം സംഖ്യാബഹുലമായിത്തീർന്നില്ല.
28 And they dwelt in Beer Sheba and Moladah and Hazar Shual.
അവർ ബേർ-ശേബയിലും മോലാദായിലും ഹസർ-ശൂവാലിലും
29 And in Bilhah and in Ezem and in Tolad.
ബിൽഹയിലും ഏസെമിലും തോലാദിലും
30 And in Bethuel and in Hormah and in Ziklag.
ബെഥൂവേലിലും ഹോർമയിലും സിക്ലാഗിലും
31 And in Beth Marcaboth and in Hazar Susim and in Beth Biri and in Shaaraim these [were] cities their until reigned David.
ബേത്-മർക്കാബോത്തിലും ഹസർ-സൂസീമിലും ബേത്-ബിരിയിലും ശയരയീമിലും താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഭരണകാലംവരെ ഇവ അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളായിരുന്നു.
32 And villages their [were] Etam and Ain Rimmon and Tochen and Ashan cities five.
ഏതാം, ആയിൻ, രിമ്മോൻ, തോഖെൻ, ആശാൻ എന്നീ അഞ്ചു പട്ടണങ്ങളും
33 And all villages their which [were] around the cities these to Baal this [was] dwelling places their and recording genealogies they [belonged] to them.
അവയ്ക്കു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ബാൽവരെയുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവരുടേതായിരുന്നു. ഇവയായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ അധിനിവേശസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ. അവർ ഒരു വംശാവലിയും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു:
34 And Meshobab and Jamlech and Joshah [the] son of Amaziah.
മെശോബാബ്, യമ്ളെക്ക്, അമസ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശാ
35 And Joel and Jehu [the] son of Joshibiah [the] son of Seraiah [the] son of Asiel.
യോവേൽ, അസീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരായാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശിബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യേഹു,
36 And Elioenai and Jaakobah and Jeshohaiah and Asaiah and Adiel and Jesimiel and Benaiah.
എല്യോവേനായി, യയക്കോബാ, യശോഹായാവ്, അസായാവ്, അദീയേൽ, യസീമിയേൽ, ബെനായാവ്,
37 And Ziza [the] son of Shipi [the] son of Allon [the] son of Jedaiah [the] son of Shimri [the] son of Shemaiah.
ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശിമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ യെദായാവിന്റെ മകനായ അല്ലോന്റെ മകനായ ശിഫിയുടെ മകനായ സീസാ.
38 These who came by names [were] leaders in clans their and [the] house of ancestors their they spread out to abundance.
മുകളിൽ പേരു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവർ അവരവരുടെ കുലങ്ങൾക്കു നായകന്മാരായിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾ അത്യധികമായി വർധിച്ചു;
39 And they went to [the] entrance of Gedor to to [the] east of the valley to seek pasture for flock[s] their.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കു മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറം അന്വേഷിച്ച്, താഴ്വരയ്ക്കും കിഴക്കോട്ട്, ഗെദോരിന്റെ കവാടംവരെ കടന്നുചെന്നു.
40 And they found pasture fertile and good and the land [was] broad of both hands and at peace and at ease for [were] from Ham the inhabitants there before.
അവർ അവിടെ സമൃദ്ധമായ നല്ല മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറം കണ്ടെത്തി. ആ ഭൂപ്രദേശം വിസ്തൃതവും സമാധാനപൂർണവും ശാന്തവും ആയിരുന്നു. മുമ്പ് ഹാം വംശക്കാരിൽ ചിലർ അവിടെ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.
41 And they came these who were written by names in [the] days of - Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and they struck down tents their and (the Meunites *Q(K)*) who they were found there and they totally destroyed them until the day this and they dwelt in place of them for pasture for flock[s] their [was] there.
പേരു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആളുകൾ യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ ഹിസ്കിയാവിന്റെകാലത്ത് അവിടേക്കു കടന്നുചെന്നു; അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഹാംവംശജരെയും മെയൂന്യരെയും അവരുടെ ഭവനങ്ങളിൽക്കയറി ആക്രമിച്ച് നിശ്ശേഷം നശിപ്പിച്ചു. അത് ഇന്നുവരെയും തെളിവായിരിക്കുന്നു. തങ്ങളുടെ മൃഗഗണങ്ങൾക്കു സമൃദ്ധമായ മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ അവിടെ താമസമുറപ്പിച്ചു.
42 And some of them - of [the] descendants of Simeon they went to [the] mountain of Seir men five hundred and Pelatiah and Neariah and Rephaiah and Uzziel [the] sons of Ishi [were] at head their.
ഈ ശിമെയോന്യരിൽ അഞ്ഞൂറുപേർ യിശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പെലത്യാവ്, നെയര്യാവ്, രെഫായാവ്, ഉസ്സീയേൽ എന്നിവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ മലനിരയിലുള്ള രാജ്യമായ സേയീരിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു.
43 And they struck down [the] remnant of the escaped remnant of Amalek and they have dwelt there until the day this.
രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവരിൽ അവിടെ ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന അമാലേക്യരെ അവർ കൊന്നൊടുക്കി. അവർ ഇന്നുവരെ അവിടെ ജീവിച്ചുപോരുന്നു.
