1 Chronicles 26

1 To divisions of gatekeepers of the Korahites Meshelemiah [the] son of Kore one of [the] sons of Asaph.

١ وَأَمَّا أَقْسَامُ ٱلْبَوَّابِينَ فَمِنَ ٱلْقُورَحِيِّينَ: مَشَلَمْيَا بْنُ قُورِي مِنْ بَنِي آسَافَ.

2 And [belonged] to Meshelemiah sons Zechariah the firstborn Jediael the second Zebadiah the third Jathniel the fourth.

٢ وَكَانَ لِمَشَلَمْيَا بَنُونَ: زَكَرِيَّا ٱلْبِكْرُ، وَيَدِيعَئِيلُ ٱلثَّانِي، وَزَبَدْيَا ٱلثَّالِثُ، وَيَثَنْئِيلُ ٱلرَّابِعُ،

3 Elam the fifth Jehohanan the sixth Eliehoenai the seventh.

٣ وَعِيلَامُ ٱلخَامِسُ، وَيَهُوحَانَانُ ٱلسَّادِسُ، وَأَلِيهُو عِينَايُ ٱلسَّابِعُ.

4 And [belonged] to Obed-Edom sons Shemaiah the firstborn Jehozabad the second Joah the third and Sakar the fourth and Nethanel the fifth.

٤ وَكَانَ لِعُوبِيدَ أَدُومَ بَنُونَ: شَمْعِيَا ٱلْبِكْرُ، وَيَهُوزَابَادُ ٱلثَّانِي، وَيُوآخُ ٱلثَّالِثُ، وَسَاكَارُ ٱلرَّابِعُ، وَنَثَنْئِيلُ ٱلخَامِسُ،

5 Ammiel the sixth Issachar the seventh Peullethai the eighth for he had blessed him God.

٥ وَعَمِّيئِيلُ ٱلسَّادِسُ، وَيَسَّاكَرُ ٱلسَّابِعُ، وَفَعَلْتَايُ ٱلثَّامِنُ. لِأَنَّ ٱللهَ بَارَكَهُ.

6 And to Shemaiah son his it was born sons the rulers of [the] house of father their for [were] mighty [men] of ability they.

٦ وَلِشَمْعِيَا ٱبْنِهِ وُلِدَ بَنُونَ تَسَلَّطُوا فِي بَيْتِ آبَائِهِمْ لِأَنَّهُمْ جَبَابِرَةُ بَأْسٍ.

7 [the] sons of Shemaiah Othni and Rephael and Obed Elzabad relatives his sons of ability Elihu and Semakiah.

٧ بَنُو شَمْعِيَا: عَثْنِي وَرَفَائِيلُ وَعُوبِيدُ وَأَلْزَابَادُ إِخْوَتُهُ أَصْحَابُ بَأْسٍ. أَلِيهُو وَسَمَكْيَا.

8 All these [were] of [the] descendants of - Obed-Edom they and sons their and relatives their [were] man of ability with strength for service sixty and two [belonged] to Obed-Edom.

٨ كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ مِنْ بَنِي عُوبِيدَ أَدُومَ هُمْ وَبَنُوهُمْ وَإِخْوَتُهُمْ أَصْحَابُ بَأْسٍ بِقُوَّةٍ فِي ٱلْخِدْمَةِ، ٱثْنَانِ وَسِتُّونَ لِعُوبِيدَ أَدُومَ.

9 And [belonged] to Meshelemiah sons and relatives sons of ability eight-teen.

٩ وَكَانَ لِمَشَلَمْيَا بَنُونَ وَإِخْوَةٌ أَصْحَابُ بَأْسٍ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ.

10 And [belonged] to Hosah one of [the] descendants of Merari sons Shimri the chief for not he was firstborn and he had appointed him father his to chief.

١٠ وَكَانَ لِحُوسَةَ مِنْ بَنِي مَرَارِي بَنُونَ: شِمْرِي ٱلرَّأْسُ، مَعَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ بِكْرًا جَعَلَهُ أَبُوهُ رَأْسًا،

11 Hilkiah the second Tebaliah the third Zechariah the fourth all [the] sons and relatives of Hosah [were] thir-teen.

١١ حِلْقِيَّا ٱلثَّانِي، وَطَبَلْيَا ٱلثَّالِثُ، وَزَكَرِيَّا ٱلرَّابِعُ. كُلُّ بَنِي حُوسَةَ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ.

12 [belonged] to These [the] divisions of the gatekeepers to [the] chiefs of the men duties corresponding to relatives their to serve in [the] house of Yahweh.

١٢ لِفِرَقِ ٱلْبَوَّابِينَ هَؤُلَاءِ حَسَبَ رُؤُوسِ ٱلْجَبَابِرَةِ حِرَاسَةٌ كَمَا لِإِخْوَتِهِمْ لِلْخِدْمَةِ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

13 And they cast lots as the small as the great to [the] house of ancestors their for a gate and a gate.

١٣ وَأَلْقَوْا قُرَعًا ٱلصَّغِيرُ كَٱلْكَبِيرِ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ لِكُلِّ بَابٍ.

14 And it fell the lot east-ward to Shelemiah and Zechariah son his a counselor - with insight they cast lots and it came out lot his north-ward.

١٤ فَأَصَابَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ مِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلشَّرْقِ شَلَمْيَا. وَلِزَكَرِيَّا ٱبْنِهِ ٱلْمُشِيرِ بِفِطْنَةٍ أَلْقَوْا قُرَعًا، فَخَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ لَهُ إِلَى ٱلشِّمَالِ.

15 To Obed-Edom [the] south towards and to sons his [the] house of the store.

١٥ لِعُوبِيدَ أَدُومَ إِلَى ٱلْجَنُوبِ وَلِبَنِيهِ ٱلْمَخَازِنُ.

16 To Shuppim and to Hosah to the west beside [the] gate of Shalleketh on the highway which goes up guard along side guard.

١٦ لِشُفِّيمَ وَحُوسَةَ إِلَى ٱلْغَرْبِ مَعَ بَابِ شَلَّكَةَ فِي مَصْعَدِ ٱلدَّرَجِ مَحْرَسٌ مُقَابِلَ مَحْرَسٍ.

17 To the east the Levites six to the north to the day four to the south to the day four and for the storehouses two two.

١٧ مِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلشَّرْقِ كَانَ ٱللَّاوِيُّونَ سِتَّةً. مِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلشِّمَالِ أَرْبَعَةً لِلْيَوْمِ. مِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلْجَنُوبِ أَرْبَعَةً لِلْيَوْمِ. وَمِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلْمَخَازِنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ.

18 For the Parbar to the west four for the highway two for the Parbar.

١٨ مِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلرِّوَاقِ إِلَى ٱلْغَرْبِ أَرْبَعَةً فِي ٱلْمَصْعَدِ وَٱثْنَيْنِ فِي ٱلرِّوَاقِ.

19 These [were] [the] divisions of the gatekeepers of [the] descendants of the Korahite[s] and of [the] descendants of Merari.

١٩ هَذِهِ أَقْسَامُ ٱلْبَوَّابِينَ مِنْ بَنِي ٱلْقُورَحِيِّينَ وَمِنْ بَنِي مَرَارِي.

20 And the Levites Ahijah [was] over [the] storehouses of [the] house of God and to [the] storehouses of the holy things.

٢٠ وَأَمَّا ٱللَّاوِيُّونَ فَأَخِيَّا عَلَى خَزَائِنِ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ وَعَلَى خَزَائِنِ ٱلْأَقْدَاسِ.

21 [the] sons of Ladan [the] descendants of the Gershonite[s] of Ladan [the] heads of the fathers of Ladan the Gershonite Jehieli.

٢١ وَأَمَّا بَنُو لَعْدَانَ، فَبَنُو لَعْدَانَ ٱلْجَرْشُونِيِّ رُؤُوسُ بَيْتِ ٱلْآبَاءِ لِلَعْدَانَ، ٱلْجَرْشُونِيِّ يَحِيئِيلِي.

22 [the] sons of Jehieli Zetham and Joel brother his [were] over [the] storehouses of [the] house of Yahweh.

٢٢ بَنُو يَحِيئِيلِي: زِيثَامُ وَيُوئِيلُ أَخُوهُ عَلَى خَزَائِنِ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

23 To the Amramite[s] to the Izharite[s] to the Hebronite[s] to the Uzzielite[s].

٢٣ مِنَ ٱلْعَمْرَامِيِّينَ وَٱلْيِصْهَارِيِّينَ وَٱلْحَبْرُونِيِّينَ وَٱلْعُزِّيئِيلِيِّينَ،

24 And Shebuel [the] son of Gershom [the] son of Moses [was the] chief over the storehouses.

٢٤ كَانَ شَبُوئِيلُ بْنُ جَرْشُومَ بْنِ مُوسَى وَكَانَ رَئِيسًا عَلَى ٱلْخَزَائِنِ.

25 And relatives his to Eliezer Rehabiah son his and Jeshaiah son his and Joram son his and Zikri son his (and Shelomith *Q(K)*) son his.

٢٥ وَإِخْوَتُهُ مِنْ أَلِيعَزَرَ: رَحَبْيَا ٱبْنُهُ، وَيَشْعِيَا ٱبْنُهُ، وَيُورَامُ ٱبْنُهُ، وَزِكْرِي ٱبْنُهُ، وَشَلُومِيثُ ٱبْنُهُ.

26 That Shelomoth and relatives his [were] over all [the] storehouses of the holy things which he had consecrated David the king and [the] heads of the fathers to [the] commanders of the thousands and the hundreds and [the] commanders of the army.

٢٦ شَلُومِيثُ هَذَا وَإِخْوَتُهُ كَانُوا عَلَى جَمِيعِ خَزَائِنِ ٱلْأَقْدَاسِ ٱلَّتِي قَدَّسَهَا دَاوُدُ ٱلْمَلِكُ وَرُؤُوسُ ٱلْآبَاءِ وَرُؤَسَاءُ ٱلْأُلُوفِ وَٱلْمِئَاتِ وَرُؤَسَاءُ ٱلْجَيْشِ.

27 Some of the wars and some of the plunder they consecrated to repair [the] house of Yahweh.

٢٧ مِنَ ٱلْحُرُوبِ وَمِنَ ٱلْغَنَائِمِ قَدَّسُوا لِتَشْدِيدِ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

28 And all that he had consecrated Samuel the seer and Saul [the] son of Kish and Abner [the] son of Ner and Joab [the] son of Zeruiah every [one who] consecrated [was] on [the] hand of Shelomith and relatives his.

٢٨ وَكُلُّ مَا قَدَّسَهُ صَمُوئِيلُ ٱلرَّائِي وَشَاوُلُ بْنُ قَيْسَ وَأَبْنَيْرُ بْنُ نَيْرَ وَيُوآبُ ٱبْنُ صَرُويَةَ، كُلُّ مُقَدَّسٍ كَانَ تَحْتَ يَدِ شَلُومِيثَ وَإِخْوَتِهِ.

29 To the Izharite[s] Kenaniah and sons his [were] for the work outside over Israel to officials and to judges.

٢٩ وَمِنَ ٱلْيِصْهَارِيِّينَ: كَنَنْيَا وَبَنُوهُ لِلْعَمَلِ ٱلْخَارِجِيِّ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ عُرَفَاءَ وَقُضَاةً.

30 To the Hebronite[s] Hashabiah and relatives his sons of ability one thousand and seven hundred [were] over [the] oversight of Israel from [the] other side of the Jordan west-ward to all [the] work of Yahweh and to [the] service of the king.

٣٠ مِنَ ٱلْحَبْرُونِيِّينَ: حَشَبْيَا وَإِخْوَتُهُ ذَوُو بَأْسٍ أَلْفٌ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةٍ مُوَكَّلِينَ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ غَرْبًا فِي كُلِّ عَمَلِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَفِي خِدْمَةِ ٱلْمَلِكِ.

31 To the Hebronite[s] Jeriah [was] the chief of the Hebronite[s] to generations his of fathers in [the] year of the forty of [the] reign of David they were investigated and it was found among them mighty [men] of ability at Jazer of Gilead.

٣١ مِنَ ٱلْحَبْرُونِيِّينَ: يَرِيَّا رَأْسُ ٱلْحَبْرُونِيِّينَ حَسَبَ مَوَالِيدِ آبَائِهِ. فِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلرَّابِعَةِ لِمُلْكِ دَاوُدَ طُلِبُوا فَوُجِدَ فِيهِمْ جَبَابِرَةُ بَأْسٍ فِي يَعْزِيرِ جِلْعَادَ.

32 And relatives his [were] sons of ability two thousand and seven hundred [the] heads of the fathers and he appointed them David the king over the Reubenite[s] and the Gadite[s] and [the] half of [the] tribe of the Manassite[s] to every matter of God and [the] matter of the king.

٣٢ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ذَوُو بَأْسٍ أَلْفَانِ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةٍ رُؤُوسُ آبَاءٍ. وَوَكَّلَهُمْ دَاوُدُ ٱلْمَلِكُ عَلَى ٱلرَّأُوبَيْنِيِّينَ وَٱلْجَادِيِّينَ وَنِصْفِ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى فِي كُلِّ أُمُورِ ٱللهِ وَأُمُورِ ٱلْمَلِكِ.
