1 Chronicles 24
1 And to [the] descendants of Aaron divisions their [the] sons of Aaron Nadab and Abihu Eleazar and Ithamar.
Harun mempunyai empat anak laki-laki: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar dan Itamar. Nadab dan Abihu meninggal lebih dahulu dari ayah mereka tanpa mempunyai anak. Karena itu Eleazar dan Itamar saudara-saudara mereka menjadi imam. Daud membagi keturunan Harun dalam kelompok-kelompok menurut tugas mereka. Dalam pekerjaan pengelompokan itu Daud dibantu oleh Zadok keturunan Eleazar dan oleh Ahimelekh keturunan Itamar.
2 And he died Nadab and Abihu before father their and sons not they belonged to them and they served as priests Eleazar and Ithamar.
3 And he divided them David and Zadok one of [the] descendants of Eleazar and Ahimelech one of [the] descendants of Ithamar to group their by service their.
4 And they were found [the] descendants of Eleazar many to [the] chiefs of the men more than [the] descendants of Ithamar and they divided them [belonged] to [the] descendants of Eleazar heads of a house of ancestors six-teen and [belonged] to [the] descendants of Ithamar of [the] house of ancestors their eight.
Keturunan Itamar dibagi menjadi delapan kelompok, sedangkan keturunan Eleazar menjadi enam belas kelompok, sebab di dalam keturunan Eleazar terdapat lebih banyak laki-laki kepala keluarga.
5 And they divided them by lots these with these for they were officials of holiness and [the] officials of God from [the] descendants of Eleazar and among [the] descendants of Ithamar.
Karena baik di dalam keturunan Eleazar maupun di dalam keturunan Itamar ada pejabat-pejabat Rumah TUHAN dan pemimpin-pemimpin agama, maka pembagian tugas dilaksanakan dengan undian.
6 And he recorded them Shemaiah [the] son of Nethanel the scribe one of the Levite[s] before the king and the officials and Zadok the priest and Ahimelech [the] son of Abiathar and [the] heads of the fathers of the priests and of the Levites a house of a father one drawn for Eleazar and drawn - drawn for Ithamar.
Keturunan Eleazar dan keturunan Itamar bergiliran menarik undi, lalu nama-nama mereka dicatat oleh seorang sekretaris yang bernama Semaya anak Netaneel orang Lewi. Semuanya itu dilaksanakan di depan raja bersama pegawai-pegawainya, Imam Zadok, Ahimelekh anak Abyatar serta kepala-kepala keluarga golongan imam dan kepala-kepala keluarga golongan Lewi.
7 And it went out the lot first to Jehoiarib to Jedaiah the second.
Inilah nomor urut giliran tugas yang diperoleh dari undian untuk kedua puluh empat kelompok itu: 1. Yoyarib; 2. Yedaya; 3. Harim; 4. Seorim; 5. Malkia; 6. Miyamin; 7. Hakos; 8. Abia; 9. Yesua; 10. Sekhanya; 11. Elyasib; 12. Yakim; 13. Hupa; 14. Yesebeab; 15. Bilga; 16. Imel; 17. Hezir; 18. Hapizes; 19. Petahya; 20. Yehezkiel; 21. Yakhin; 22. Gamul; 23. Delaya; 24. Maazya.
8 To Harim the third to Seorim the fourth.
9 To Malkijah the fifth to Mijamin the sixth.
10 To Hakkoz the seventh to Abijah the eighth.
11 To Jeshua the ninth to Shecaniah the tenth.
12 To Eliashib one [plus] ten to Jakim two [plus] ten.
13 To Huppah thir-teen to Jeshebeab four-teen.
14 To Bilgah fif-teen to Immer six-teen.
15 To Hezir seven-teen to Happizzez eight-teen.
16 To Pethahiah nine-teen to Jehezkel the twenty.
17 To Jakin one and twenty to Gamul two and twenty.
18 To Delaiah three and twenty to Maaziah four and twenty.
19 These [were] group[s] their for service their to go to [the] house of Yahweh according to ordinance their by [the] hand of Aaron ancestor their just as he had commanded him Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
Nama orang-orang tersebut dicatat menurut giliran mereka untuk memasuki Rumah TUHAN dan melaksanakan tugas ibadat yang sudah ditetapkan oleh Harun, leluhur mereka, sesuai dengan perintah TUHAN, Allah Israel.
20 And to [the] sons of Levi which remained of [the] sons of Amram Shubael of [the] sons of Shubael Jehdeiah.
Selain itu dalam keturunan Lewi masih termasuk kepala-kepala keluarga berikut ini: Yehdeya, keturunan Amram dari garis keturunan Subael; Yisia, keturunan Rehabya; Yahat, keturunan Yizhar dari garis keturunan Selomot; Yeria, Amarya, Yehaziel dan Yekameam anak-anak Hebron menurut urutan umurnya; Samir, keturunan Uziel dari garis keturunan Mikha; Zakharia, keturunan Uziel dari garis keturunan Yisia saudara Mikha; Mahli, Musi dan Yaazia, keturunan Merari.
21 For Rehabiah of [the] sons of Rehabiah the chief Isshiah.
22 For the Izharite[s] Shelomoth of [the] sons of Shelomoth Jahath.
23 And [the] sons Jeriah Amariah the second Jahaziel the third Jekameam the fourth.
24 [the] sons of Uzziel Micah of [the] sons of Micah (Shamir. *Q(K)*)
25 [the] brother of Micah Isshiah of [the] sons of Isshiah Zechariah.
26 [the] sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi [the] sons of Jaaziah (Beno. *L(F)*)
27 [the] sons of Merari of Jaaziah (Beno *L(F)*) and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri.
Yaazia mempunyai tiga anak laki-laki: Syoham, Zakur dan Hibri.
28 For [the] Mahlite[s] Eleazar and not it belonged to him sons.
Mahli mempunyai dua anak laki-laki bernama Eleazar dan Kish. Eleazar tidak mempunyai anak laki-laki, tetapi Kish mempunyai seorang anak laki-laki bernama Yerahmeel.
29 For Kish [the] sons of Kish Jerahmeel.
30 And [the] sons of Mushi Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth these [were] [the] sons of the Levites to [the] house of ancestors their.
Anak laki-laki Musi ada tiga orang: Mahli, Eder dan Yerimot. Itulah keluarga-keluarga dalam suku Lewi.
31 And they cast also they lots corresponding to - relatives their [the] descendants of Aaron before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech and [the] heads of the fathers of the priests and of the Levites fathers the chief corresponding to brother his young.
Untuk giliran tugas mereka, setiap kepala keluarga bersama seorang adiknya yang laki-laki menarik undi seperti yang dilakukan oleh sanak saudara mereka, yaitu para imam keturunan Harun. Penarikan undi itu disaksikan oleh Raja Daud bersama Zadok, Ahimelekh serta kepala-kepala keluarga dari golongan imam-imam dan dari golongan orang Lewi.
