< 1 Chronicles 18 >
1 And it was after thus and he struck down David [the] Philistines and he subdued them and he took Gath and daughters its from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
Después de estas cosas aconteció, que David hirió a los Filisteos, y los humilló; y tomó a Get, y a sus villas de mano de los Filisteos.
2 And he struck down Moab and they became Moab subjects of David bearers of tribute.
También hirió a Moab; y los Moabitas fueron siervos de David, trayéndole presente.
3 And he struck down David Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah Hamath towards when went he to establish monument his at [the] river of Euphrates.
Asimismo hirió David a Adarezer rey de Soba en Hemat, yendo él a afirmar su término al río de Éufrates.
4 And he captured David from him one thousand chariot[s] and seven thousand horsemen and twenty thousand man on foot and he hamstrung David all the chariotry and he left of it one hundred chariot[s].
Y tomóles David mil carros, y siete mil de a caballo, y veinte mil hombres de a pie: y desjarretó David todos los carros; mas dejó cien carros.
5 And it came Aram Damascus to help Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah and he struck down David in Aram twenty and two thousand man.
Y viniendo Siria, la de Damasco, en ayuda de Adarezer rey de Soba, David hirió de los Siros veinte y dos mil varones.
6 And he put David in Aram Damascus and it became Aram of David subjects bearers of tribute and he gave victory Yahweh to David in every where he went.
Y puso David guarnición en Siria, la de Damasco, y los Siros fueron hechos siervos de David, trayéndole presente: porque Jehová salvaba a David donde quiera que iba.
7 And he took David [the] shields of gold which they were on [the] servants of Hadadezer and he brought them Jerusalem.
Tomó también David los escudos de oro, que traían los siervos de Adarezer, y metiólos en Jerusalem.
8 And from Tibhath and from Kun [the] cities of Hadadezer he took David bronze much very with it - he made Solomon [the] sea of bronze and the pillars and [the] articles of bronze.
Asimismo de Tebat, y de Cun, ciudades de Adarezer, tomó David muy mucho metal, de que Salomón hizo el mar de metal, las columnas, y vasos de metal.
9 And he heard Tou [the] king of Hamath that he had struck down David all [the] army of Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah.
Y oyendo Tou rey de Hemat, que David había deshecho a todo el ejército de Adarezer rey de Soba,
10 And he sent Hadoram son his to the king David (to ask *Q(k)*) of him to welfare and to bless him on that he had fought against Hadadezer and he had defeated him for man of wars of Tou he was Hadadezer and all articles of gold and silver and bronze.
Envió a Adoram su hijo al rey David a saludarle, y a bendecirle por haber peleado con Adarezer, y haberle vencido: porque Tou tenía guerra con Adarezer. Y envióle todos los vasos de oro, de plata, y de metal;
11 Also them he consecrated the king David to Yahweh with the silver and the gold which he had taken away from all the nations from Edom and from Moab and from [the] people of Ammon and from [the] Philistines and from Amalek.
Los cuales el rey David dedicó a Jehová, con la plata y oro que había tomado de todas las naciones, de Edom, de Moab, de los hijos de Ammón, de los Filisteos, y de Amalec.
12 And Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah he struck down Edom in [the] Valley of Salt eight-teen thousand.
Ítem, Abisaí, hijo de Sarvia, hirió a Edom en el valle de la sal diez y ocho mil hombres.
13 And he put in Edom garrisons and they became all Edom subjects of David and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
Y puso guarnición en Edom, y todos los Idumeos fueron siervos de David: porque Jehová guardaba a David donde quiera que iba.
14 And he reigned David over all Israel and he was doing justice and righteousness for all people his.
Y reinó David sobre todo Israel, y hacía juicio y justicia a todo su pueblo.
15 And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah [was] over the army and Jehoshaphat [the] son of Ahilud [was the] recorder.
Y Joab, hijo de Sarvia, era general del ejército, y Josafat, hijo de Ahilud, canciller.
16 And Zadok [the] son of Ahitub and Abimelech [the] son of Abiathar [were] priests and Shavsha [was the] scribe.
Y Sadoc, hijo de Aquitob, y Abimelec, hijo de Abiatar, eran sacerdotes; y Susa el escriba.
17 And Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] over the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and [the] sons of David [were] the first to [the] side of the king.
Ítem, Banaías, hijo de Joiada, era sobre los Cereteos y Feleteos: y los hijos de David eran los príncipes a la mano del rey.
