1 Chronicles 18
1 And it was after thus and he struck down David [the] Philistines and he subdued them and he took Gath and daughters its from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
Po tych wydarzeniach Dawid pobił Filistynów, ujarzmił ich i zabrał z ich rąk Gat i jego wioski.
2 And he struck down Moab and they became Moab subjects of David bearers of tribute.
Pobił też Moab i Moabici stali się sługami Dawida składającymi daninę.
3 And he struck down David Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah Hamath towards when went he to establish monument his at [the] river of Euphrates.
Dawid pobił też Hadadezera, króla Soby w Chamat, gdy ten wyprawił się, aby rozciągnąć swoją władzę nad rzeką Eufrat.
4 And he captured David from him one thousand chariot[s] and seven thousand horsemen and twenty thousand man on foot and he hamstrung David all the chariotry and he left of it one hundred chariot[s].
Dawid zabrał mu wtedy tysiąc rydwanów, siedem tysięcy jeźdźców i dwadzieścia tysięcy pieszych. I popodcinał Dawid [ścięgna] wszystkich [koniom] zaprzęgowym, zostawiając z nich tylko [tyle, ile potrzeba] do stu rydwanów.
5 And it came Aram Damascus to help Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah and he struck down David in Aram twenty and two thousand man.
Kiedy Syryjczycy z Damaszku przybyli na pomoc Hadadezerowi, królowi Soby, Dawid pobił spośród nich dwadzieścia dwa tysiące ludzi.
6 And he put David in Aram Damascus and it became Aram of David subjects bearers of tribute and he gave victory Yahweh to David in every where he went.
Potem Dawid umieścił [załogi] w Syrii damasceńskiej, a Syryjczycy stali się sługami Dawida składającymi daninę. Tak PAN zachowywał Dawida, dokądkolwiek [ten] się udał.
7 And he took David [the] shields of gold which they were on [the] servants of Hadadezer and he brought them Jerusalem.
Dawid zabrał też złote tarcze, które mieli słudzy Hadadezera, i przyniósł je do Jerozolimy.
8 And from Tibhath and from Kun [the] cities of Hadadezer he took David bronze much very with it - he made Solomon [the] sea of bronze and the pillars and [the] articles of bronze.
Również z Tibchat i Kun, miast Hadadezera, Dawid zabrał bardzo dużo brązu, z którego Salomon wykonał morze brązowe, słupy i naczynia brązowe.
9 And he heard Tou [the] king of Hamath that he had struck down David all [the] army of Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah.
A gdy usłyszał Tou, król Chamatu, że Dawid pobił całe wojsko Hadadezera, króla Soby;
10 And he sent Hadoram son his to the king David (to ask *Q(k)*) of him to welfare and to bless him on that he had fought against Hadadezer and he had defeated him for man of wars of Tou he was Hadadezer and all articles of gold and silver and bronze.
Posłał swego syna Hadorama do króla Dawida, aby go pozdrowił w pokoju i aby mu powinszował tego, że walczył z Hadadezerem i pokonał go – Hadadezer bowiem prowadził wojnę z Tou – i [Hadoram] przyniósł ze sobą wszelkiego rodzaju naczynia złote, srebrne i brązowe.
11 Also them he consecrated the king David to Yahweh with the silver and the gold which he had taken away from all the nations from Edom and from Moab and from [the] people of Ammon and from [the] Philistines and from Amalek.
Również i je król Dawid poświęcił PANU wraz ze srebrem i złotem, które pobrał od wszystkich narodów: od Edomu, od Moabu, od synów Ammona, od Filistynów i od Amaleka.
12 And Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah he struck down Edom in [the] Valley of Salt eight-teen thousand.
I Abiszaj, syn Serui, pobił w Dolinie Soli osiemnaście tysięcy Edomitów.
13 And he put in Edom garrisons and they became all Edom subjects of David and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
I umieścił w Edomie załogi, a wszyscy Edomici stali się sługami Dawida. Tak PAN zachowywał Dawida, dokądkolwiek [ten] się udał.
14 And he reigned David over all Israel and he was doing justice and righteousness for all people his.
Dawid więc królował nad całym Izraelem i sprawował sąd nad całym swym ludem, i [wymierzał] mu sprawiedliwość.
15 And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah [was] over the army and Jehoshaphat [the] son of Ahilud [was the] recorder.
Joab, syn Serui, [był postawiony] nad wojskiem, a Jehoszafat, syn Achiluda, [był] kronikarzem.
16 And Zadok [the] son of Ahitub and Abimelech [the] son of Abiathar [were] priests and Shavsha [was the] scribe.
Sadok, syn Achituba, i Abimelek, syn Abiatara, [byli] kapłanami, a Szawsza [był] pisarzem.
17 And Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] over the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and [the] sons of David [were] the first to [the] side of the king.
Benajasz, syn Jehojady, był [postawiony] nad Keretytami i Peletytami, a synowie Dawida [byli] pierwszymi przy królu.
