1 Chronicles 18
1 And it was after thus and he struck down David [the] Philistines and he subdued them and he took Gath and daughters its from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.

2 And he struck down Moab and they became Moab subjects of David bearers of tribute.
Lèfini, li bat moun peyi Moab yo. Moun Moab yo soumèt devan David. Li fè yo peye taks ba li chak lè.
3 And he struck down David Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah Hamath towards when went he to establish monument his at [the] river of Euphrates.
Apre sa, li bat Adadezè, wa peyi Zoba a, ki t'ap mache pran zòn ki sou anwo larivyè Lefrat la.
4 And he captured David from him one thousand chariot[s] and seven thousand horsemen and twenty thousand man on foot and he hamstrung David all the chariotry and he left of it one hundred chariot[s].

5 And it came Aram Damascus to help Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah and he struck down David in Aram twenty and two thousand man.

6 And he put David in Aram Damascus and it became Aram of David subjects bearers of tribute and he gave victory Yahweh to David in every where he went.

7 And he took David [the] shields of gold which they were on [the] servants of Hadadezer and he brought them Jerusalem.
David sezi tout gwo plak pwotèj an lò chèf lame wa Adadezè yo, li pote yo lavil Jerizalèm.
8 And from Tibhath and from Kun [the] cities of Hadadezer he took David bronze much very with it - he made Solomon [the] sea of bronze and the pillars and [the] articles of bronze.
Li pran yon gwo kantite kwiv li te jwenn lavil Tiba ak lavil Koun ki te pou Adadezè. Se ak kwiv sa yo Salomon te fè gwo basen lan, poto won yo ak lòt veso an kwiv pou Tanp lan.
9 And he heard Tou [the] king of Hamath that he had struck down David all [the] army of Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah.
Lè Towou, wa lavil Amat la, tande jan David te kraze tout lame Adadezè a,
10 And he sent Hadoram son his to the king David (to ask *Q(k)*) of him to welfare and to bless him on that he had fought against Hadadezer and he had defeated him for man of wars of Tou he was Hadadezer and all articles of gold and silver and bronze.
li voye pitit li, Adouram al wè David pou di l' bonjou, epi pou fe l' konpliman deske li te bat Adadezè, paske Towou te toutan ap fè lagè ak Adadezè. Adouram te pote kado fèt an lò, an ajan ak an kwiv bay David.
11 Also them he consecrated the king David to Yahweh with the silver and the gold which he had taken away from all the nations from Edom and from Moab and from [the] people of Ammon and from [the] Philistines and from Amalek.
Wa David pran tout bagay sa yo, li mete yo apa pou sèvis Seyè a, ansanm ak tout lò ak tout ajan li te pran lakay moun lòt nasyon li te fè soumèt devan li, ki vle di moun peyi Edon, moun peyi Moab, moun peyi Amon, moun peyi Filisti ak moun peyi Amalèk.
12 And Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah he struck down Edom in [the] Valley of Salt eight-teen thousand.

14 And he reigned David over all Israel and he was doing justice and righteousness for all people his.

15 And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah [was] over the army and Jehoshaphat [the] son of Ahilud [was the] recorder.

16 And Zadok [the] son of Ahitub and Abimelech [the] son of Abiathar [were] priests and Shavsha [was the] scribe.

17 And Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] over the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and [the] sons of David [were] the first to [the] side of the king.
