1 Chronicles 14
1 And he sent (Huram *Q(K)*) [the] king of Tyre messengers to David and wood of cedar and craftsmen of a wall and craftsmen of wood to build for him a house.
Külde pedig Hírám, Tírus királya Dávidhoz követeket: czédrusfákat, kőmíveseket és ácsmestereket, hogy néki házat csináljanak.
2 And he knew David that he had appointed him Yahweh to king over Israel that [was] exalted upwards kingdom his for sake of people his Israel.
És megismeré Dávid, hogy az Úr őt megerősítette a királyságban Izráel felett, mivelhogy igen felmagasztaltatott vala az ő országa az ő népéért, az Izráelért.
3 And he took David again wives in Jerusalem and he fathered David again sons and daughters.
Vőn pedig Dávid még több feleséget Jeruzsálemben, és nemze Dávid még több fiakat és leányokat.
4 And these [are] [the] names of the [ones] born who they belonged to him in Jerusalem Shammua and Shobab Nathan and Solomon.
És ezek neveik azoknak, a kik születtek néki Jeruzsálemben: Sammua, Sobáb, Nátán és Salamon,
5 And Ibhar and Elishua and Elpelet.
Ibhár, Elisua és Elpélet,
6 And Nogah and Nepheg and Japhia.
Nógah, Néfeg és Jáfia,
7 And Elishama and Beeliada and Eliphelet.
Elisáma, Beheljada és Elifélet.
8 And they heard [the] Philistines that he had been anointed David to king over all Israel and they went up all [the] Philistines to seek David and he heard David and he went out before them.
Megértvén pedig a Filiszteusok, hogy Dávid királylyá kenetett fel az egész Izráel felett, feljövének mind a Filiszteusok, hogy megkeressék Dávidot. Mely dolgot mikor Dávid meghallott, azonnal ellenök ment.
9 And [the] Philistines they had come and they had made a raid in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites.
A Filiszteusok pedig eljövén, elszéledének a Réfaim völgyében.
10 And he enquired David by God saying ¿ will I go up on ([the] Philistines *Q(k)*) and will you give? them in hand my and he said to him Yahweh go up and I will give them in hand your.
Akkor Dávid megkérdé az Istent, mondván: Felmenjek-é a Filiszteusok ellen, és kezembe adod-é őket? És monda néki az Úr: Menj fel, és kezedbe adom őket.
11 And they went up at Baal Perazim and he struck down them there David and he said David he has burst out against God enemies my by hand my like a bursting out of water there-fore people called [the] name of the place that Baal Perazim.
Felmenének azért Baál-perásimba, és ott Dávid őket megveré, és monda Dávid: Az Isten eloszlatá az én ellenségeimet az én kezem által, mint a vizeknek oszlását; azért nevezék azt a helyet Baál-perásimnak.
12 And they abandoned there gods their and he spoke David and they were burned with fire.
És ott hagyák az ő bálvány isteneiket, és Dávid megparancsolá, hogy megégessék azokat.
13 And they repeated again [the] Philistines and they made a raid in the valley.
Ismét feltámadának a Filiszteusok és a völgyben szétterjeszkedtek.
14 And he enquired again David by God and he said to him God not you will go up after them go around from on them and you will come to them from [the] front of the balsam trees.
Azért Dávid ismét megkérdé az Istent, és monda az Isten néki: Ne menj fel utánok, hanem fordulj el tőlök, és menj reájok a szederfák irányában;
15 So may it be when hearing you [the] sound of marching in [the] tops of the balsam trees then you will go out in battle for he has gone out God before you to strike down [the] camp of [the] Philistines.
És mikor hallándod a járás dobogását a szederfák tetején, akkor menj ki a viadalra; mert az Isten te előtted megyen, hogy megverje a Filiszteusok táborát.
16 And he did David just as he had commanded him God and they struck down [the] camp of [the] Philistines from Gibeon and to Gezer.
Dávid azért úgy cselekedék, a mint néki Isten meghagyta volt, és vágák a Filiszteusok táborát Gibeontól fogva szinte Gézerig.
17 And it went out [the] name of David in all the lands and Yahweh he put dread of him on all the nations.
És elterjede Dávid híre az országokban, és az Úr adá a tőle való félelmet minden pogányokra.
