1 Chronicles 13
1 And he consulted David with [the] commanders of the thousands and the hundreds to every leader.
Und [2. Sam. 6] David beriet sich mit den Obersten über tausend und über hundert, mit allen [Eig. nach allen; d. h. so viele ihrer waren] Fürsten.
2 And he said David to all - [the] assembly of Israel if [is] on you good and from Yahweh God our let us spread out let us send to countrymen our who remain in all [the] lands of Israel and with them the priests and the Levites in [the] cities of pasture lands their so they may gather together to us.
Und David sprach zu der ganzen Versammlung Israels: Wenn es euch gut dünkt, und wenn es von Jehova, unserem Gott, ist, so laßt uns allenthalben umhersenden [O. schleunig senden] zu unseren übrigen Brüdern in allen Landen Israels, und mit ihnen zu den Priestern und zu den Leviten in den Städten ihrer Bezirke, daß sie sich zu uns versammeln.
3 And let us bring round [the] ark of God our to us for not we sought it in [the] days of Saul.
Und wir wollen die Lade unseres Gottes zu uns herüberholen; denn wir haben sie in den Tagen Sauls nicht befragt. [O. nach ihr gefragt, sie aufgesucht; wie Kap. 15,13]
4 And they said all the assembly to do thus for it was pleasing the matter in [the] eyes of all the people.
Und die ganze Versammlung sprach, daß man also tun sollte; denn die Sache war recht in den Augen des ganzen Volkes.
5 And he called together David all Israel from Shihor of Egypt and to Lebo Hamath to bring [the] ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.
Und David versammelte ganz Israel, von dem Sihor Ägyptens bis nach Hamath hin, um die Lade Gottes von Kirjath-Jearim zu bringen.
6 And he went up David and all Israel Baalah towards to Kiriath Jearim which [belongs] to Judah to bring up from there [the] ark of God - Yahweh [who] sits the cherubim where it is called a name.
Und David und ganz Israel zogen hinauf nach Baala, nach Kirjath-Jearim, das zu Juda gehört, um von dannen die Lade Gottes, Jehovas, heraufzuholen, der zwischen [O. über] den Cherubim thront, dessen Name dort angerufen wird. [O. welche nach dem Namen genannt wird]
7 And they made to ride [the] ark of God on a cart new from [the] house of Abinadab and Uzzah and Ahio [were] leading the cart.
Und sie fuhren die Lade Gottes auf einem neuen Wagen aus dem Hause Abinadabs weg; und Ussa und Achjo führten den Wagen.
8 And David and all Israel [were] making merry before God with all strength and with songs and with harps and with lyres and with tambourines and with cymbals and with trumpets.
Und David und ganz Israel spielten vor Gott mit aller Kraft: mit Gesängen und mit Lauten und mit Harfen und mit Tamburinen und mit Cymbeln und mit Trompeten.
9 And they came to [the] threshing floor of Kidon and he stretched out Uzzah hand his to grasp the ark for they stumbled the ox[en].
Und als sie zur Tenne Kidon kamen, da streckte Ussa seine Hand aus, um die Lade anzufassen; denn die Rinder hatten sich losgerissen. [O. waren ausgeglitten]
10 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Uzzah and he struck down him on that he had stretched out hand his on the ark and he died there before God.
Da entbrannte der Zorn Jehovas wider Ussa, und er schlug ihn, darum daß er seine Hand nach der Lade ausgestreckt hatte; und er starb daselbst vor Gott.
11 And it burned to David for he had broken out Yahweh a breaking out against Uzzah and he called the place that Perez Uzzah until the day this.
Und David entbrannte, [Vergl. die Anm. zu 1. Sam. 15,11] weil Jehova einen Bruch an Ussa gemacht hatte; und er nannte jenen Ort Perez-Ussa, [Bruch Ussas] bis auf diesen Tag.
12 And he feared David God on the day that saying how? will I bring to myself [the] ark of God.
Und David fürchtete sich vor Gott an selbigem Tage und sprach: Wie soll ich die Lade Gottes zu mir bringen?
13 And not he turned aside David the ark to himself to [the] city of David and he turned aside it to [the] house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
Und David ließ die Lade nicht zu sich einkehren in die Stadt Davids; und er ließ sie beiseite bringen in das Haus Obed-Edoms, des Gathiters.
14 And it remained [the] ark of God with [the] household of Obed-Edom in house his three months and he blessed Yahweh [the] household of Obed-Edom and all that [belonged] to him.
Und die Lade Gottes blieb bei der Familie [W. bei dem Hause] Obed-Edoms, in seinem Hause, drei Monate. Und Jehova segnete das Haus Obed-Edoms und alles, was sein war.
