1 Chronicles 11
1 And they gathered together all Israel to David Hebron towards saying here! [are] bone your and flesh your we.
Och hele Israel samlade sig: till David i Hebron, och sade: Si, vi äre ditt ben och ditt kött.
2 Both yesterday as well as three days ago also when was Saul king you [were] the [one who] led out and the [one who] brought Israel and he said Yahweh God your to you you you will shepherd people my Israel and you you will be ruler over people my Israel.
Och tillförene, medan Saul var Konung, förde du Israel ut och in; så hafver ock Herren din Gud sagt till dig: Du skall föda mitt folk Israel, och du skall vara en Förste öfver mitt folk Israel.
3 And they came all [the] elders of Israel to the king Hebron towards and he made to them David a covenant at Hebron before Yahweh and they anointed David to king over Israel according to [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Samuel.
Kommo också alle Israels äldste till Konungen i Hebron. Och David gjorde ett förbund med dem i Hebron för Herranom. Och de smorde David till Konung öfver Israel, efter Herrans ord, genom Samuel.
4 And he went David and all Israel Jerusalem it [was] Jebus and [were] there the Jebusite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land.
Och David drog åstad, och hele Israel, till Jerusalem, det är Jebus; ty de Jebuseer bodde i landena.
5 And they said [the] inhabitants of Jebus to David not you will enter here and he captured David [the] stronghold of Zion it [was] [the] city of David.
Och de borgare i Jebus sade till David: Du skall icke komma härin. Men David vann den borgen Zion, det är Davids stad.
6 And he had said David any [one who] strikes down a Jebusite at the first he will become a chief and a commander and he went up at the first Joab [the] son of Zeruiah and he became a chief.
Och David sade: Den som de Jebuseer först slår, han skall vara hufvud och öfverste. Då steg Joab, ZeruJa son, först upp, och vardt höfvitsmän.
7 And he dwelt David in the fortress there-fore people called it [the] city of David.
Och David bodde på borgene; deraf kallar man henne Davids stad.
8 And he built the city from round about from the Millo and to the surroundings and Joab he restored [the] remainder of the city.
Och han byggde staden omkring, ifrå Millo och sedan allt omkring; och Joab lät lefva dem som qvare voro i stadenom.
9 And he went David continuously and becoming great and Yahweh of hosts [was] with him.
Och David hade framgång, och kom sig före; och Herren Zebaoth var med honom.
10 And these [were] [the] chiefs of the mighty [men] who [belonged] to David who held strongly with him in kingdom his with all Israel to make king him according to [the] word of Yahweh on Israel.
Desse äro de öfverste ibland Davids väldiga, de der manliga höllo med honom i hans rike, när hela Israel, så att man gjorde honom till Konung, efter Herrans ord, öfver Israel.
11 And these [are] [the] number of the mighty [men] who [belonged] to David Jashobeam a son of a Hacmonite [was] [the] chief of (the officers *Q(K)*) he he wielded spear his on three hundred [one] slain at a time one.
Och detta är talet på Davids väldiga män: Jasabeam, Hachmoni son, den ypperste ibland tretio; han hof sin spets upp, och slog trehundrad i en gång.
12 And after him Eleazar [the] son of Dodo the Ahohite he [was] among three the mighty [men].
Näst honom var Eleazar, Dodo son, den Ahohiten, och han var ibland de tre väldiga.
13 He he was with David at Pas Dammim and the Philistines they were gathered there for battle and it was [the] portion of the field full barley and the people they fled from before [the] Philistines.
Denne var med David, då de talade hädelse, och de Philisteer sig der församlat hade till strid; och var ett stycke åker fullt med bjugg, och folket flydde för de Philisteer.
14 And they took their stand in [the] middle of the portion and they defended it and they struck down [the] Philistines and he delivered Yahweh a deliverance great.
Och de trädde midt uppå åkerstycket, och undsatte det, och slogo de Philisteer; och Herren gaf en stor salighet.
15 And they went down three of the thirty chief to the rock to David to [the] cave of Adullam and [the] camp of [the] Philistines [was] encamped in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites.
Och de tre utaf de yppersta tretio drogo neder till bergshällen till David, i den kulona Adullam; men de Philisteers lägre var i Rephaims dal.
16 And David then [was] in the stronghold and [the] garrison of [the] Philistines then [was] at Beth-lehem.
Och David var i borgene; och de Philisteers folk var på den tid i BethLehem.
17 (And he craved *Q(k)*) David and he said who? will he give to drink me water from [the] well of Beth-lehem which [is] at the gate.
Och David fick lusta, och sade: Ho vill gifva mig dricka af det vattnet i den brunnen i BethLehem, under portenom?
18 And they broke through the three in [the] camp of [the] Philistines and they drew water from [the] well of Beth-lehem which [was] at the gate and they carried [them] and they brought [them] to David and not he was willing David to drink them and he poured out them to Yahweh.
Då slogo desse tre genom de Philisteers lägre, och hemtade vatten utu brunnen i BethLehem, under portenom, och båro till David. Men han ville icke drickat, utan utgöt det Herranom;
19 And he said far be it to me from God my from doing this [thing] ¿ [the] blood of the men these will I drink by lives their for by lives their they brought them and not he was willing to drink them these [things] they did [the] three the mighty [men].
Och sade: Det låte Gud vara långt ifrå mig, att jag detta göra skulle, och dricka dessa mäns blod i deras lifsfara; förty de hafva det hemtat med sins lifs fara; derföre ville han icke drickat. Det gjorde de tre hjeltar.
20 And Abishai [the] brother of Joab he he was [the] chief of the three and he he wielded spear his on three hundred [one] slain (and [belonged] to him *Q(K)*) a name with the three.
Abisai, Joabs broder, han var den ypperste ibland tre, och han hof sin spets upp, och slog trehundrad, och han var beprisad ibland tre.
21 More than the three by twofold [he was] honored and he became of them a commander and to the three not he came.
Och han den tredje härligare än de två, och var deras öfverste; men till de tre kom han icke.
22 Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] a son of a man of strength great of deeds from Kabzeel he he struck down two Ariel of Moab and he he went down and he struck down the lion in [the] midst of the pit on [the] day of the snow.
Benaja, Jojada son, IsHails sons, den mycket bedrifvit hade, af Kabzeel, han slog tu de Moabiters lejon; och gick neder, och slog ett lejon midt i brunnenom i snötiden.
23 And he he struck down the man Egyptian a man of stature - five by the cubit and [was] in [the] hand of the Egyptian a spear like a beam of weavers and he went down to him with the club and he tore away the spear from [the] hand of the Egyptian and he killed him with own spear his.
Han slog ock en Egyptisk man; han var fem alnar lång, och hade en spets i handene såsom ett väfträ; men han gick ned till honom med en staf, och tog honom spetsen utu handene, och drap honom med hans egen spets.
24 These [things] he did Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and [belonged] to him a name with three the mighty [men].
Det gjorde Benaja, Jojada son, och vardt beprisad ibland tre hjeltar;
25 More than the thirty there he [was] honored he and to the three not he came and he appointed him David over bodyguard his.
Och var den härligaste ibland tretio; men till de tre kom han icke; honom gjorde David till sitt hemliga råd.
26 And [the] mighty [men] of strength Asah-el [the] brother of Joab Elhanan [the] son of Dodo from Beth-lehem.
De stridsamme hjeltar äro desse: Asahel, Joabs broder, Elhanan, Dodo son af BethLehem,
27 Shammoth the Harorite Helez the Pelonite.

28 Ira [the] son of Ikkesh the Tekoite Abiezer the Anathothite.

29 Sibbecai the Hushathite Ilai the Ahohite.

30 Maharai the Netophathite Heled [the] son of Baanah the Netophathite.

31 Ittai [the] son of Ribai from Gibeah of [the] descendants of Benjamin. Benaiah the Pirathonite.
