< 1 Chronicles 11 >

1 And they gathered together all Israel to David Hebron towards saying here! [are] bone your and flesh your we.

Semua pemimpin bangsa Israel datang kepada Daud di Hebron dan berkata, "Kami ini kerabat Baginda.

2 Both yesterday as well as three days ago also when was Saul king you [were] the [one who] led out and the [one who] brought Israel and he said Yahweh God your to you you you will shepherd people my Israel and you you will be ruler over people my Israel.

Sejak dahulu, bahkan ketika Saul masih memerintah kami, Bagindalah yang memimpin tentara Israel setiap kali mereka maju berperang. Lagipula TUHAN Allah Baginda telah berjanji bahwa Bagindalah yang akan memimpin umat-Nya dan menjadi raja mereka."

3 And they came all [the] elders of Israel to the king Hebron towards and he made to them David a covenant at Hebron before Yahweh and they anointed David to king over Israel according to [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Samuel.

Maka Daud membuat perjanjian dengan pemimpin-pemimpin Israel itu. Lalu mereka melantik dia menjadi raja Israel seperti yang telah dijanjikan TUHAN melalui Samuel.

4 And he went David and all Israel Jerusalem it [was] Jebus and [were] there the Jebusite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land.

Suatu waktu Raja Daud dengan seluruh tentara Israel pergi menyerang kota Yerusalem. Pada waktu itu kota itu bernama Yebus, dan didiami oleh orang Yebus, penduduk asli kota itu.

5 And they said [the] inhabitants of Jebus to David not you will enter here and he captured David [the] stronghold of Zion it [was] [the] city of David.

Orang-orang Yebus telah berkata kepada Daud, bahwa ia tidak mungkin dapat memasuki kota mereka itu. Tetapi Daud berhasil merebut benteng mereka yang bernama Sion. Pada waktu itu Daud telah mengumumkan kepada anak buahnya bahwa orang pertama yang membunuh seorang Yebus akan menjadi panglima. Maka karena Yoablah yang pertama-tama menyerbu orang Yebus, ia diangkat menjadi panglima. (Ibu Yoab bernama Zeruya.) Setelah merebut benteng Sion, Daud tinggal di situ. Itu sebabnya sejak waktu itu benteng itu disebut "Kota Daud".

6 And he had said David any [one who] strikes down a Jebusite at the first he will become a chief and a commander and he went up at the first Joab [the] son of Zeruiah and he became a chief.

7 And he dwelt David in the fortress there-fore people called it [the] city of David.

8 And he built the city from round about from the Millo and to the surroundings and Joab he restored [the] remainder of the city.

Daud membangun kembali kota itu mulai di tempat yang ditinggikan dengan tanah di sebelah timur bukit; kemudian pembangunan itu diteruskan oleh Yoab sampai selesai.

9 And he went David continuously and becoming great and Yahweh of hosts [was] with him.

Daud makin lama makin kuat, karena TUHAN Mahakuasa menolong dia.

10 And these [were] [the] chiefs of the mighty [men] who [belonged] to David who held strongly with him in kingdom his with all Israel to make king him according to [the] word of Yahweh on Israel.

Inilah nama-nama para perwira Daud yang termasyhur. Bersama seluruh rakyat Israel, mereka telah berjuang supaya Daud menjadi raja seperti yang telah dijanjikan oleh TUHAN. Dan mereka terus mendukung pemerintahannya.

11 And these [are] [the] number of the mighty [men] who [belonged] to David Jashobeam a son of a Hacmonite [was] [the] chief of (the officers *Q(K)*) he he wielded spear his on three hundred [one] slain at a time one.

Perwira yang pertama ialah Yasobam orang Hakhmoni, ia pemimpin "Triwira". Pernah dalam satu pertempuran ia melawan 300 orang dan menewaskan mereka semua dengan tombaknya.

12 And after him Eleazar [the] son of Dodo the Ahohite he [was] among three the mighty [men].

Orang kedua dalam Triwira itu ialah Eleazar anak Dodo dari kaum Ahohi.

13 He he was with David at Pas Dammim and the Philistines they were gathered there for battle and it was [the] portion of the field full barley and the people they fled from before [the] Philistines.

Dalam pertempuran di Pas-Damim ia berjuang di pihak Daud melawan orang Filistin. Ketika tentara Israel mulai melarikan diri, dia dan anak buahnya bertahan di tengah-tengah sebuah ladang gandum dan bertempur melawan orang-orang Filistin itu. Lalu TUHAN memberikan kemenangan yang besar kepadanya.

14 And they took their stand in [the] middle of the portion and they defended it and they struck down [the] Philistines and he delivered Yahweh a deliverance great.

15 And they went down three of the thirty chief to the rock to David to [the] cave of Adullam and [the] camp of [the] Philistines [was] encamped in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites.

Pada suatu hari 3 orang dari 30 perwira Daud yang terkemuka, pergi menemui Daud di suatu tempat yang berkubu di sebuah gunung batu dekat Gua Adulam. Pada waktu itu orang Filistin berkemah di Lembah Refaim, dan sepasukan dari mereka menduduki Betlehem.

16 And David then [was] in the stronghold and [the] garrison of [the] Philistines then [was] at Beth-lehem.

17 (And he craved *Q(k)*) David and he said who? will he give to drink me water from [the] well of Beth-lehem which [is] at the gate.

Daud rindu akan kampung halamannya itu dan berkata, "Ah, sekiranya aku diberi minum air dari sumur dekat pintu gerbang di Betlehem."

18 And they broke through the three in [the] camp of [the] Philistines and they drew water from [the] well of Beth-lehem which [was] at the gate and they carried [them] and they brought [them] to David and not he was willing David to drink them and he poured out them to Yahweh.

Mendengar itu, ketiga perwira itu menerobos perkemahan orang Filistin lalu menimba air dari sumur itu, kemudian membawanya kepada Daud. Tetapi Daud tidak mau meminumnya, malahan mencurahkannya sebagai persembahan kepada TUHAN.

19 And he said far be it to me from God my from doing this [thing] ¿ [the] blood of the men these will I drink by lives their for by lives their they brought them and not he was willing to drink them these [things] they did [the] three the mighty [men].

Ia berkata, "Demi Allah, saya tidak bisa minum air ini! Kalau saya meminumnya, seolah-olah saya minum darah orang-orang yang telah mempertaruhkan nyawa mereka!" Jadi Daud sama sekali tidak mau minum air itu. Itulah jasa-jasa ketiga pejuang yang perkasa itu.

20 And Abishai [the] brother of Joab he he was [the] chief of the three and he he wielded spear his on three hundred [one] slain (and [belonged] to him *Q(K)*) a name with the three.

Ketiga puluh perwira yang termasyhur itu dinamakan juga "Tridasawira". Mereka dipimpin oleh Abisai adik Yoab. Pernah ia menewaskan 300 orang dengan tombaknya, dan karena itu ia menjadi termasyhur. Tetapi ia tidak sehebat Triwira itu.

21 More than the three by twofold [he was] honored and he became of them a commander and to the three not he came.

22 Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] a son of a man of strength great of deeds from Kabzeel he he struck down two Ariel of Moab and he he went down and he struck down the lion in [the] midst of the pit on [the] day of the snow.

Seorang perwira termasyhur yang lain ialah Benaya anak Yoyada, orang Kabzeel. Ia sangat berani. Dua pahlawan besar dari Moab telah dibunuhnya. Pernah pada suatu hari bersalju ia masuk ke dalam sebuah lubang dan membunuh seekor singa di situ.

23 And he he struck down the man Egyptian a man of stature - five by the cubit and [was] in [the] hand of the Egyptian a spear like a beam of weavers and he went down to him with the club and he tore away the spear from [the] hand of the Egyptian and he killed him with own spear his.

Ia pernah juga membunuh seorang Mesir yang besar perawakannya; tingginya lebih dari dua meter. Orang itu bersenjatakan tombak yang sangat besar, tapi Benaya menghadapinya hanya dengan pentung. Tombak yang ada di tangan orang Mesir itu direbutnya lalu dipakainya untuk membunuh orang itu.

24 These [things] he did Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and [belonged] to him a name with three the mighty [men].

Itulah jasa-jasa Benaya, seorang dari Tridasawira.

25 More than the thirty there he [was] honored he and to the three not he came and he appointed him David over bodyguard his.

Dalam kelompok itu, Benayalah yang terkemuka, tetapi ia tidak sehebat Triwira. Daud mengangkat dia menjadi kepala pengawal pribadinya.

26 And [the] mighty [men] of strength Asah-el [the] brother of Joab Elhanan [the] son of Dodo from Beth-lehem.

Berikut ini adalah perwira-perwira lain yang termasyhur: Asael adik Yoab, Elhanan anak Dodo orang Betlehem, Samot orang Harod, Heles orang Peloni, Ira anak Ikes orang Tekoa, Abiezer orang Anatot, Sibkhai orang Husa, Ilai orang Ahohi, Maharai orang Netofa, Heled anak Baana orang Netofa, Itai anak Ribai orang Gibea di wilayah suku Benyamin, Benaya orang Piraton, Hurai orang lembah-lembah Gaas, Abiel orang Araba, Azmawet orang Bahurim, Elyahba orang Saalbon, Hasyem orang Gizon, Yonatan anak Sage orang Harari, Ahiam anak Sakhar orang Harari, Elifal anak Ur, Hefer orang Mekherati, Ahia orang Peloni, Hezrai orang Karmel, Naarai anak Ezbai, Yoel saudara Natan, Mibhar anak Hagri, Zelek orang Amon, Naharai orang Beerot, pembawa senjata Yoab, Ira dan Gareb orang Yetri, Uria orang Het, Zabad anak Ahlai, Adina anak Siza (salah seorang tokoh dalam suku Ruben yang, mempunyai pasukan 30 orang), Hanan anak Maakha, Yosafat orang Mitni, Uzia orang Asytarot, Syama dan Yeiel, anak-anak Hotam, orang Aroer, Yediael dan Yoha, anak-anak Simri, orang Tizi, Eliel orang Mahawim, Yeribai dan Yosawya, anak-anak Elnaam, Yitma orang Moab, Eliel, Obed dan Yaasiel orang Mezobaya.

27 Shammoth the Harorite Helez the Pelonite.

28 Ira [the] son of Ikkesh the Tekoite Abiezer the Anathothite.

29 Sibbecai the Hushathite Ilai the Ahohite.

30 Maharai the Netophathite Heled [the] son of Baanah the Netophathite.

31 Ittai [the] son of Ribai from Gibeah of [the] descendants of Benjamin. Benaiah the Pirathonite.

32 Hurai from [the] wadis of Gaash. Abiel the Arbathite.

33 Azmaveth the Baharumite Eliahba the Shaalbonite.

34 [the] sons of Hashem the Gizonite Jonathan [the] son of Shageh the Hararite.

35 Ahiam [the] son of Sakar the Hararite Eliphal [the] son of Ur.

36 Hepher the Mekerathite Ahijah the Pelonite.

37 Hezro the Carmelite Naarai [the] son of Ezbai.

38 Joel [the] brother of Nathan Mibhar [the] son of Hagri.
