1 Chronicles 11
1 And they gathered together all Israel to David Hebron towards saying here! [are] bone your and flesh your we.
Und [2. Sam. 5,1] ganz Israel versammelte sich zu David nach Hebron, und sie sprachen: Siehe, wir sind dein Gebein und dein Fleisch.
2 Both yesterday as well as three days ago also when was Saul king you [were] the [one who] led out and the [one who] brought Israel and he said Yahweh God your to you you you will shepherd people my Israel and you you will be ruler over people my Israel.
Schon früher, schon als Saul König war, bist du es gewesen, der Israel aus- und einführte; und Jehova, dein Gott, hat zu dir gesagt: Du sollst mein Volk Israel weiden, und du sollst Fürst sein über mein Volk Israel.
3 And they came all [the] elders of Israel to the king Hebron towards and he made to them David a covenant at Hebron before Yahweh and they anointed David to king over Israel according to [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Samuel.
Und alle Ältesten Israels kamen zu dem König nach Hebron, und David machte einen Bund mit ihnen zu Hebron, vor Jehova; und sie salbten David zum König über Israel, nach dem Worte Jehovas durch Samuel.
4 And he went David and all Israel Jerusalem it [was] Jebus and [were] there the Jebusite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land.
Und David und ganz Israel zogen nach Jerusalem, das ist Jebus; und daselbst waren die Jebusiter, die Bewohner des Landes.
5 And they said [the] inhabitants of Jebus to David not you will enter here and he captured David [the] stronghold of Zion it [was] [the] city of David.
Und die Bewohner von Jebus sprachen zu David: Du wirst nicht hier hereinkommen! Aber David nahm die Burg Zion ein, das ist die Stadt Davids.
6 And he had said David any [one who] strikes down a Jebusite at the first he will become a chief and a commander and he went up at the first Joab [the] son of Zeruiah and he became a chief.
Und David sprach: Wer die Jebusiter zuerst schlägt, soll Haupt und Oberster werden. Da stieg Joab, der Sohn der Zeruja, zuerst hinauf, und er wurde zum Haupte.
7 And he dwelt David in the fortress there-fore people called it [the] city of David.
Und David wohnte in der Burg; darum nannte man sie Stadt Davids.
8 And he built the city from round about from the Millo and to the surroundings and Joab he restored [the] remainder of the city.
Und er baute die Stadt ringsum, von dem Millo [Wall, Burg; vergl. 2. Sam. 5,9] an rund umher. [W. bis an den Umkreis] Und Joab erneuerte das Übrige der Stadt.
9 And he went David continuously and becoming great and Yahweh of hosts [was] with him.
Und David wurde immerfort größer, und Jehova der Heerscharen war mit ihm.
10 And these [were] [the] chiefs of the mighty [men] who [belonged] to David who held strongly with him in kingdom his with all Israel to make king him according to [the] word of Yahweh on Israel.
Und dies sind die Häupter der Helden, welche David hatte, die ihm mit ganz Israel mutig beistanden [O. fest zu ihm hielten] in seinem Königtum, um ihn zum König zu machen, nach dem Worte Jehovas über Israel.
11 And these [are] [the] number of the mighty [men] who [belonged] to David Jashobeam a son of a Hacmonite [was] [the] chief of (the officers *Q(K)*) he he wielded spear his on three hundred [one] slain at a time one.
Und [2. Sam 23,8] dies ist die Zahl der Helden, welche David hatte: Jaschobam, der Sohn Hakmonis, das Haupt der Anführer; [O. der Ritter. Nach and. Lesart: der Dreißig] er schwang seinen Speer wider dreihundert, die er auf einmal erschlug.
12 And after him Eleazar [the] son of Dodo the Ahohite he [was] among three the mighty [men].
Und nach ihm Eleasar, der Sohn Dodos, der Achochiter; er war unter den drei Helden.
13 He he was with David at Pas Dammim and the Philistines they were gathered there for battle and it was [the] portion of the field full barley and the people they fled from before [the] Philistines.
Er war mit David zu Pas-Dammim, als die Philister daselbst versammelt waren zum Streit. Und dort war ein Ackerstück voll Gerste; und das Volk floh vor den Philistern.
14 And they took their stand in [the] middle of the portion and they defended it and they struck down [the] Philistines and he delivered Yahweh a deliverance great.
Da stellten sie sich mitten auf das Stück und retteten es und schlugen die Philister; und Jehova schaffte eine große Rettung.
15 And they went down three of the thirty chief to the rock to David to [the] cave of Adullam and [the] camp of [the] Philistines [was] encamped in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites.
Und drei von den dreißig Häuptern ging zu dem Felsen hinab zu David, in die Höhle Adullam; und das Heer der Philister lagerte im Tale Rephaim.
16 And David then [was] in the stronghold and [the] garrison of [the] Philistines then [was] at Beth-lehem.
David aber war damals auf [O. in] der Bergfeste, und eine Aufstellung der Philister war damals zu Bethlehem.
17 (And he craved *Q(k)*) David and he said who? will he give to drink me water from [the] well of Beth-lehem which [is] at the gate.
Und David hatte ein Gelüste und sprach: Wer wird mich mit Wasser tränken aus der Cisterne zu Bethlehem, die am Tore ist?
18 And they broke through the three in [the] camp of [the] Philistines and they drew water from [the] well of Beth-lehem which [was] at the gate and they carried [them] and they brought [them] to David and not he was willing David to drink them and he poured out them to Yahweh.
Da brachen die Drei durch das Lager der Philister und schöpften Wasser aus der Cisterne von Bethlehem, die am Tore ist, und trugen und brachten es zu David. Aber David wollte es nicht trinken und goß es aus als Trankopfer dem Jehova;
19 And he said far be it to me from God my from doing this [thing] ¿ [the] blood of the men these will I drink by lives their for by lives their they brought them and not he was willing to drink them these [things] they did [the] three the mighty [men].
und er sprach: Das lasse mein Gott fern von mir sein, daß ich solches tue! Sollte ich das Blut dieser Männer trinken, die mit Gefahr ihres Lebens hingegangen sind? Denn mit Gefahr ihres Lebens haben sie es gebracht. Und er wollte es nicht trinken. Das taten die drei Helden.
20 And Abishai [the] brother of Joab he he was [the] chief of the three and he he wielded spear his on three hundred [one] slain (and [belonged] to him *Q(K)*) a name with the three.
Und Abisai, der Bruder Joabs, dieser war ein Haupt der Drei. Und er schwang seinen Speer wider dreihundert, die er erschlug; und er hatte einen Namen unter den Dreien.
21 More than the three by twofold [he was] honored and he became of them a commander and to the three not he came.
Vor den Dreien [Wahrsch. ist zu l.: Vor den Dreißigen, wie in v 25] war er geehrt, [O. berühmt] neben den Zweien, [Der Text ist unklar und wahrsch. fehlerhaft] so daß er ihr Oberster wurde; aber an die ersten Drei reichte er nicht.
22 Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] a son of a man of strength great of deeds from Kabzeel he he struck down two Ariel of Moab and he he went down and he struck down the lion in [the] midst of the pit on [the] day of the snow.
Benaja, der Sohn Jojadas, der Sohn eines tapferen Mannes, groß an Taten, von Kabzeel; selbiger erschlug zwei Löwen [S. die Anm. zu 2. Sam. 23,20] von Moab. Und er stieg hinab und erschlug den Löwen in der Grube an einem Schneetage.
23 And he he struck down the man Egyptian a man of stature - five by the cubit and [was] in [the] hand of the Egyptian a spear like a beam of weavers and he went down to him with the club and he tore away the spear from [the] hand of the Egyptian and he killed him with own spear his.
Und er war es, der den ägyptischen Mann erschlug, einen Mann von fünf Ellen Länge. Und der Ägypter hatte einen Speer in der Hand wie einen Weberbaum; er aber ging zu ihm hinab mit einem Stabe, und riß dem Ägypter den Speer aus der Hand und tötete ihn mit seinem eigenen Speere.
24 These [things] he did Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and [belonged] to him a name with three the mighty [men].
Das tat Benaja, der Sohn Jojadas; und er hatte einen Namen unter den drei Helden.
25 More than the thirty there he [was] honored he and to the three not he came and he appointed him David over bodyguard his.
Vor den Dreißigen, siehe, war er geehrt, [O. berühmt] aber an die ersten Drei reichte er nicht. Und David setzte ihn in seinen geheimen Rat.
26 And [the] mighty [men] of strength Asah-el [the] brother of Joab Elhanan [the] son of Dodo from Beth-lehem.
Und die Helden der Heere waren: Asael, der Bruder Joabs; Elchanan, der Sohn Dodos, von Bethlehem;
27 Shammoth the Harorite Helez the Pelonite.
Schammoth, der Haroriter; Helez, der Peloniter;
28 Ira [the] son of Ikkesh the Tekoite Abiezer the Anathothite.
Ira, der Sohn Ikkesch, der Tekoiter; Abieser, der Annethotiter;
29 Sibbecai the Hushathite Ilai the Ahohite.
