1 Chronicles 10
1 And [the] Philistines they fought against Israel and he fled [the] man of Israel from before [the] Philistines and they fell slain on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
Dume la Filiŝtoj batalis kontraŭ Izrael; kaj la Izraelidoj forkuris de la Filiŝtoj, kaj falis mortigitaj sur la monto Gilboa.
2 And they pursued closely [the] Philistines after Saul and after sons his and they struck down [the] Philistines Jonathan and Abinadab and Malki-Shua [the] sons of Saul.
Kaj la Filiŝtoj kuratingis Saulon kaj liajn filojn; kaj la Filiŝtoj mortigis Jonatanon kaj Abinadabon kaj Malki-Ŝuan, filojn de Saul.
3 And it was heavy the battle on Saul and they found him the archers with the bow and he was in severe pain from the archers.
La batalo fortiĝis kontraŭ Saul; kaj la arkpafistoj trovis lin, kaj li estis vundita de la arkpafistoj.
4 And he said Saul to [the] bearer of weapons his draw out sword your - and pierce through me with it lest they should come the uncircumcised [men] these and they will deal wantonly with me and not he was willing [the] bearer of weapons his for he was afraid exceedingly. And he took Saul the sword and he fell on it.
Tiam Saul diris al sia armilportisto: Eltiru vian glavon, kaj trapiku min per ĝi, por ke ne venu tiuj necirkumciditoj kaj ne mokmalhonoru min. Sed lia armilportisto ne volis, ĉar li forte timis. Tiam Saul prenis sian glavon kaj faligis sin sur ĝin.
5 And he saw [the] bearer of weapons his that he had died Saul and he fell also he on the sword and he died.
Kiam lia armilportisto vidis, ke Saul mortis, li ankaŭ faligis sin sur la glavon kaj mortis.
6 And he died Saul and three of sons his and all household his together they died.
Tiamaniere mortis Saul kaj liaj tri filoj, kaj lia tuta domo kune mortis.
7 And they saw every man of Israel who [was] in the valley that they had fled and that they had died Saul and sons his and they abandoned cities their and they fled and they came [the] Philistines and they dwelt in them.
Kiam ĉiuj Izraelidoj, kiuj estis en la valo, vidis, ke oni forkuras kaj ke Saul kaj liaj filoj mortis, tiam ili forlasis siajn urbojn kaj forkuris; kaj venis la Filiŝtoj kaj enloĝiĝis en ili.
8 And it was from [the] next day and they came [the] Philistines to strip the [ones] slain and they found Saul and sons his fallen on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
En la sekvanta tago venis la Filiŝtoj, por senvestigi la mortigitojn, kaj ili trovis Saulon kaj liajn filojn falintajn sur la monto Gilboa.
9 And they stripped him and they took head his and weapons his and they sent in [the] land of [the] Philistines all around to bear [the] news to idols their and the people.
Kaj ili senvestigis lin kaj prenis lian kapon kaj liajn armilojn kaj sendis en la landon de la Filiŝtoj ĉirkaŭen, por anonci al iliaj idoloj kaj al la popolo.
10 And they put weapons his [the] house of gods their and skull his they fixed [the] house of Dagon.
Kaj ili metis liajn armilojn en la domon de siaj dioj, kaj lian kranion ili alfiksis en la domo de Dagon.
11 And they heard all Jabesh Gilead all that they had done [the] Philistines to Saul.
Kiam la tuta Jabeŝ en Gilead aŭdis pri ĉio, kion faris la Filiŝtoj al Saul,
12 And they arose every man of strength and they took [the] corpse of Saul and [the] corpses of sons his and they brought them Jabesh towards and they buried bones their under the oak in Jabesh and they fasted seven days.
tiam leviĝis ĉiuj kuraĝuloj, kaj prenis la korpon de Saul kaj la korpojn de liaj filoj kaj alportis lin en Jabeŝon, kaj enterigis iliajn ostojn sub la kverko en Jabeŝ, kaj fastis dum sep tagoj.
13 And he died Saul in unfaithfulness his which he had acted unfaithfully against Yahweh on [the] word of Yahweh which not he kept and also to consult by necromancy to consult.
Tiamaniere mortis Saul pro siaj malbonagoj, kiujn li faris antaŭ la Eternulo, ne plenumante la vorton de la Eternulo; ankaŭ pro tio, ke li turnis sin al antaŭdiristino, por demandi,
14 And not he consulted Yahweh and he put to death him and he turned over the kingship to David [the] son of Jesse.
sed ne demandis la Eternulon. Pro tio Li mortigis lin, kaj transdonis la reĝadon al David, filo de Jiŝaj.
