1 Chronicles 10
1 And [the] Philistines they fought against Israel and he fled [the] man of Israel from before [the] Philistines and they fell slain on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
Philistineten Israel chunga gal ahin bol tauve; chule Philistinete masanga Israelte ajam gam tauvin ahi. Gilboa molsang chunga gal alel’uvin akijam chap jeng tauvin ahi.
2 And they pursued closely [the] Philistines after Saul and after sons his and they struck down [the] Philistines Jonathan and Abinadab and Malki-Shua [the] sons of Saul.
Philishtineten Saul le achapate ajamnauva apha uvin, hichun achapa thum-Jonathan, Abinadab, chule Malkishua ho chu athat tauve.
3 And it was heavy the battle on Saul and they found him the archers with the bow and he was in severe pain from the archers.
Saul din gal kisat chu adou hah cheh cheh jeng tan, chuin Philistine thalpi kapthem mihon ma Saul chu amudoh’uvin chule melse tah’in amavouvin ahi.
4 And he said Saul to [the] bearer of weapons his draw out sword your - and pierce through me with it lest they should come the uncircumcised [men] these and they will deal wantonly with me and not he was willing [the] bearer of weapons his for he was afraid exceedingly. And he took Saul the sword and he fell on it.
Hichun Saul’in jong agalvonpopa jah’a aseiyin, “Nachemjam satdoh jengin lang neithat pai jengin, achuti louva ahileh hiche cheptanlou Philistine mite khu hung uvin tin kichepna einei diu ahitai,” ati. Ahivanginla agalvonpopan chutia bol jeng ding chu atijat behseh jeh’in anompon aboldeh tapoi. Hiche jehchun Saul’in jong achemjam akisadoh jengin, achunga alhun akibah lut jenge.
5 And he saw [the] bearer of weapons his that he had died Saul and he fell also he on the sword and he died.
Hichea hi agalvon popanjong Saul thi amudoh phat’in ama jong achemjam chunga akibah lut pai jengin athi pai pai tai.
6 And he died Saul and three of sons his and all household his together they died.
Hitobang hin Saul le achapa mi thum hochu chumun’a chun abonchan athi khom cheh tauvin, alenggam vaihomna phat sungu jong ahung kichai tai.
7 And they saw every man of Israel who [was] in the valley that they had fled and that they had died Saul and sons his and they abandoned cities their and they fled and they came [the] Philistines and they dwelt in them.

8 And it was from [the] next day and they came [the] Philistines to strip the [ones] slain and they found Saul and sons his fallen on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
Ajing nikho’a Philistine mite chu mithi long chomdoh’a ahunguva ahileh, Saul le achapate long chu Gilboa molsanga amudoh tauve.
9 And they stripped him and they took head his and weapons his and they sent in [the] land of [the] Philistines all around to bear [the] news to idols their and the people.
Hijeh chun amahon jong Saul galvon chu ahoh lhauvin, chule alu jong akitan lhah tauve. Chuin amahon ami lim doi houvu leh Philistia gamsung pumpia mitin henga Saul athi kipana thu alhangsam lele tauvin ahi.
10 And they put weapons his [the] house of gods their and skull his they fixed [the] house of Dagon.
Amahon Saul galvon chu a Pathen lim semthu ho hou-in sunga akoiyun, chule alu jong chu Dagon hou-in sunga atah’uvin ahi.
11 And they heard all Jabesh Gilead all that they had done [the] Philistines to Saul.
Hinlah Jabesh- Gilead khoa cheng mitakip’in Philistineten Saul abolnau ajah doh phat’uvin,
12 And they arose every man of strength and they took [the] corpse of Saul and [the] corpses of sons his and they brought them Jabesh towards and they buried bones their under the oak in Jabesh and they fasted seven days.
Agal-hang lai jouse akipat’uvin Saul tahsa along le achapate long jouse chu abonchauvin Jabesh khoa ahinpo lut soh keiyuvin ahi. Chujongle agubuh jouseu chu Jabesh khopia gangpi phung noiya avuiyun, ni sagi sungin an angol’uvin ahi.
13 And he died Saul in unfaithfulness his which he had acted unfaithfully against Yahweh on [the] word of Yahweh which not he kept and also to consult by necromancy to consult.

14 And not he consulted Yahweh and he put to death him and he turned over the kingship to David [the] son of Jesse.
