Zephaniah 2
1 Collect your thoughts, aye collect them, —O nation, depressed!
১হে নিলাজ জাতি, তোমালোক একত্রিত হোৱা, একেলগ হৈ গোট খোৱা।
2 Ere yet the decree, have given birth, like chaff, the day, have vanished, —ere yet shall come upon you, the glow of the anger of Yahweh, ere yet shall come upon you, the day of the anger of Yahweh.
২কিয়নো দণ্ডাজ্ঞাৰ আদেশ জাৰি হোৱাৰ আগেয়ে, সেই দিন তুঁহৰ দৰে উৰি অহাৰ আগেয়ে; যিহোৱাৰ জ্বলন্ত ক্রোধ আপোনালোকৰ ওপৰলৈ অহাৰ আগেয়ে, যিহোৱাৰ ক্রোধৰ দিন আপোনালোকৰ ওপৰলৈ অহাৰ আগেয়ে, আপোনালোক একত্রিত হওঁক!
3 Seek Yahweh—all ye lowly of the land, who have wrought, what he appointed, —seek righteousness, seek humility, peradventure, ye shall be concealed, in the day of the anger of Yahweh?
৩হে পৃথিৱীৰ সমুদায় নম্র লোক, আপোনালোক যিসকলে যিহোৱাৰ শাসন-প্রণালী মানি চলিছে, আপোনালোকে যিহোৱাক বিচাৰক! আপোনালোকে ধাৰ্মিকতা অনুশীলন কৰক! নম্ৰতাৰ অনুশীলন কৰক! কিজানি যিহোৱাৰ ক্ৰোধৰ দিনত আপোনালোকে ৰক্ষা পাব।
4 For, Gaza, forsaken, shall be, and, Ashkelon, a desolation, —Ashdod! at high noon, shall they drive her forth, and, Ekron, be uprooted:
৪গাজা জনশূণ্য হ’ব আৰু অস্কিলোন ধ্বংসস্থান হ’ব; অচ্দোদৰ লোক সমূহক দুপৰ বেলা খেদাই দিয়া হ’ব, আৰু ইক্ৰোণক উঘালি পেলোৱা হ’ব।
5 Alas! for the inhabitants of the line of the sea, the nation of Kerethim, —The word of Yahweh, is against you, O Canaan of the land of the Philistines, therefore will I destroy thee, to the last inhabitant.
৫হে সমুদ্ৰতীৰত বাস কৰা কৰেথীয়া লোকসকল, আপোনালোকৰ সন্তাপ হ’ব। হে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ দেশ কনান! যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকৰ বিপক্ষে কৈছে, “কোনো অৱশিষ্ট নথকালৈকে মই তোমাক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিম।”
6 So shall the line of the sea become a meadow, the wells of shepherds, and the folds of flocks;
৬সমুদ্ৰ তীৰৰ এলেকা হ’ব চৰণীয়া ভূমি; মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়াৰ তৃণভূমি আৰু মেৰ-ছাগৰ জাকৰ নিৰাপদ আশ্রয়স্থান হ’ব।
7 And the line shall belong to the remnant of the house of Judah, Thereon, shall they feed their flocks, —In the houses of Ashkelon, shall they, at eventide, lie down, for Yahweh their God will visit them, and bring their captives back.
৭সেই সমুদ্রতীৰৰ এলেকা, যিহূদা বংশৰ জীয়াই থকা অৱশিষ্ট লোকৰ অধিকাৰত থাকিব। তেওঁলোকে তাত মেৰ-ছাগৰ জাক চৰাব; সন্ধিয়া তেওঁলোকে অস্কিলোনৰ ঘৰত শুই থাকিব; তেওঁলোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকক প্রতিপালন কৰিব; তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ ভৱিষ্যত অৱস্থা পুণঃস্থাপন কৰিব।
8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the sons of Ammon, —who have reproached my people, and have magnified themselves up to their bounds.
৮“মই মোৱাবে কৰা উপহাস আৰু অম্মোনৰ সন্তানবোৰে কৰা গালি-শপনিবোৰ শুনিলো; তেওঁলোকে মোৰ লোকসকলক তিৰস্কাৰ কৰিলে আৰু নিজৰ দেশ বঢ়াবলৈ লোকসকলৰ অহিতে সীমা উলঙ্ঘন কৰিলে।”
9 Wherefore, as I live, declareth Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, Surely, Moab, like Sodom, shall become, and, the sons of Ammon, like Gomorrah, a possession for the thorn, and a pit of salt, Yea a desolation, unto times age-abiding: The remnant of my people, shall make of them a prey, and, the residue of my nation, shall inherit them.
৯সেয়ে, বাহিনীগণৰ যিহোৱা, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰে এইদৰে কৈছে, “মোৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, মোৱাব নিশ্চয়ে চদোমৰ নিচিনা, আৰু অম্মোনীয়াসকল ঘমোৰাৰ নিচিনা হ’ব; এক কাঁইটীয়া হাবিৰে ভৰা ঠাই আৰু এক লোণৰ কূপলৈ পৰিণত হ’ব; চিৰকালৰ পতিত ভূমি হৈ থাকিব; মোৰ প্ৰজাসকলৰ অৱশিষ্ট লোকে তেওঁলোকক লুট কৰিব আৰু মোৰ জাতিৰ অৱশিষ্ট লোকে তেওঁলোকৰ দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিব।”
10 This, shall they have, instead of their pride, —because they reproached and magnified themselves against the people of Yahweh of hosts.
১০মোৱাব আৰু অম্মোনৰ অহঙ্কাৰৰ কাৰণেই তেওঁলোকলৈ এনে ঘটিব; কাৰণ তেওঁলোকে বাহিনীগণৰ যিহোৱাৰ লোকসকলৰ প্রতি ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রূপ কৰিলে, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ অহিতে নিজৰ দেশ বঢ়াই তুলিছে।
11 Terrible will Yahweh be against them, for he hath caused to waste away all the gods of the earth, that men may bow down to him, every one from his place, all the coastlands of the nations:
১১যিহোৱা তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰত ভীষণৰূপে ভয়ানক হ’ব; তেওঁ পৃথিৱীৰ সকলো দেৱ-দেবীক শক্তিহীন কৰিব; তেতিয়া সকলো জাতিৰ লোকে যিহোৱাৰ আৰাধনা কৰিব; নিজ নিজ দেশৰ পৰা, সমুদ্রৰ উপকূলসমূহৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ ওচৰত প্রণিপাত কৰিব।
12 Even ye Ethiopians, the slain of my sword were they!
১২হে কুচীয়াসকল, তোমালোকো মোৰ তৰোৱালৰ আঘাতত নিহত হ’বা।
13 And may he stretch out his hand against the North, and destroy Assyria, —and may he make of Nineveh a desolation, dry as the desert!
১৩যিহোৱাই উত্তৰ দিশৰ বিৰুদ্ধে হাত মেলি অচূৰক বিনষ্ট কৰিব; নীনবি নগৰক একেবাৰে জনশূণ্য আৰু মৰুভূমিৰ দৰে শুকান ভূমি কৰিব।
14 So shall lie down in her midst—flocks, each living thing of a nation, both pelican and bittern, in her capitals, shall roost, —a voice, shall resound in the window, the bustard, on the sill, for he hath destroyed, hath laid bare.
১৪তাৰ পাছত পশুৰ জাক আৰু বন্য প্রাণীবোৰে তাত বাস কৰিব; নগৰৰ ধ্বংসস্তূপবোৰত চৰাই আৰু ফেঁচাবোৰে বাহঁ সাজি ৰাতি কটাব। খিড়িকীত সিহঁতৰ চিৰিক-চিৰিক এক শব্দ শুনা যাব; কাউৰীবোৰে খালী ঘৰবোৰৰ দুৱাৰমুখত আহি মাতিব; কিয়নো ঘৰৰ এৰচ কাঠৰ চটিবোৰ তেওঁ উন্মুক্ত কৰিলে।
15 This, is the city exultant, that sat secure, that said in her heart, I, [am]! and no one besides! How hath she become a desolation! a lair of beasts, every one passing, by her doth hiss, shaketh his hand.
১৫এয়ে সেই নির্ভয়ে থকা উল্লাসপ্রিয়া নীনবি নগৰ; তাই নিজৰ মনতে কয়, “ময়েই আছোঁ, মোৰ সমান আন কোনো নাই!” তাই কেনেকৈ ধ্বংস হৈ গ’ল! বন্য পশুৰ আশ্রয়স্থল হ’ল! যিসকলে তাইৰ ওচৰেদি যাব, প্ৰতিজনে ইচ ইচ কৰি ঘৃণা কৰিব আৰু তাইক হাতেৰে ভুকু দেখুৱাব।
