Zechariah 6
1 And once again I lifted mine eyes, and looked, and lo! four chariots, coming forward from between two mountains, —now, the mountains, were mountains of copper.
Og jeg opløftede atter mine Øjne og saa, og se, fire Vogne, som gik frem imellem de to Bjerge, og Bjergene vare Kobberbjerge.
2 In the first chariot, were red horses, —and, in the second chariot, black horses;
For den første Vogn var der røde Heste, og for den anden Vogn sorte Heste,
3 and, in the third chariot, white horses, —and, in the fourth chariot, horses spotted, deep red.
og for den tredje Vogn hvide Heste, og for den fjerde Vogn spraglede, stærke Heste.
4 Then began I, and said, unto the messenger who was speaking with me, —What are these, my lord?
Og jeg svarede og sagde til Engelen, som talte med mig: Hvad betyde disse, min Herre?
5 And the messenger answered, and said unto me, —These, are the four winds of the heavens, coming forward after each hath presented itself near the Lord of all the earth.
Og Engelen svarede og sagde til mig: Disse ere de fire Vejr under Himmelen, som gaa ud, efter at de have stillet sig frem for al Jordens Herre.
6 They in whose chariot are the black horses, are going forth into the land of the North, and, the white, have gone forth after them, —and, the spotted, have gone forth into the land of the South;
Hvad angaar Vognen med de sorte Heste for, da gaa de ud imod Nordens Land og de hvide ere gangne ud bag efter dem, og de spraglede ere gangne ud imod Sydens Land.
7 and, the deep red, have come forward and sought to go their way, that they might journey to and fro in the land, so he said, Go your way, journey to and fro in the land, —and they journeyed to and fro in the land.
Og de stærke ere gangne ud, men de begærede at gaa hen for at vandre Jorden rundt, og han sagde: Gaar, vandrer Jorden rundt; saa vandrede de Jorden rundt.
8 Then made he outcry beside me, and spake unto me, saying, —See, these who are going forth into the land of the North, have settled my spirit in the land of the North.
Da raabte han til mig og talte til mig og sagde: Se, de, som udgaa imod Nordens Land, bringe min Aand til at hvile i Nordens Land.
9 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:
Og Herrens Ord kom til mig saaledes:
10 Take of them of the exile, of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, —then shalt, thou thyself, enter, on that day, yea thou shalt enter the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah, [with them] who have come in out of Babylon;
Tag af de bortførte, nemlig af Keldaj, af Tobias og Jedaja, og gaa du paa denne Dag, ja, gaa ind i Josias's, Zefanias's Søns, Hus, hvorhen de ere komne fra Babel:
11 yea thou shalt take silver and gold, and make a crown, —and set [it] upon the head of Jehoshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
Ja, tag Sølv og Guld, og gør Kroner, og sæt dem paa Ypperstepræsten Josuas, Jozadaks Søns, Hoved;
12 then shalt thou speak unto him, saying, Thus, speaketh Yahweh of hosts, saying, —Lo! a man! Bud, is his name, and, out of his own place, shall he bud forth, and shall build the temple of Yahweh;
og sig til ham: Saa siger den Herre Zebaoth: Se, en Mand, Zemak er hans Navn; og fra sit Sted skal han skyde frem, og han skal bygge Herrens Tempel.
13 Yea, he, shall build the temple of Yahweh, and, he, shall bear the honour, and shall sit and rule upon his throne, —and shall become a priest upon his throne, and, the counsel of peace, shall be between the two of them.
Ja, han skal bygge Herrens Tempel, og han skal bære Kongeherlighed, og han skal sidde og herske paa sin Trone, og han skal være Præst paa sin Trone, og der skal være Freds Raad imellem dem begge.
14 But, the crown, shall belong to Heldai and to Tobiah and to Jedaiah, and to Hen son of Zephaniah, —for a memorial in the temple of Yahweh.
Og Kronerne skulle være for Kelem og for Tobias og for Jedaja og for Hen, Zefanias's Søn, til en Ihukommelse i Herrens Tempel.
15 And, they who are afar off, shall come in and shall build at the temple of Yahweh, so shall yea know that, Yahweh of hosts, hath sent me unto you, —and it shall come to pass if ye will, indeed hearken, unto the voice of Yahweh your God.
Og fjerne Folk skulle komme og bygge paa Herrens Tempel, og I skulle fornemme, at den Herre Zebaoth har sendt mig til eder; og dette skal ske, dersom I flittigt ville høre Herren eders Guds Røst.
