Zechariah 4

1 And once more the messenger who was speaking with me, roused me up, just as a man might be roused up out of his sleep.

Και επέστρεψεν ο άγγελος ο λαλών μετ' εμού και με εξήγειρεν ως άνθρωπον εξεγειρόμενον από του ύπνου αυτού,

2 Then said he unto me, What canst thou see? And I said—I have looked, and lo! a Lampstand—all of gold, with the Bowl thereof upon the top thereof, and its Seven Lamps upon it, Seven Pipes each, to the lamps which are upon the top thereof;

και είπε προς εμέ, Τι βλέπεις συ; Και είπα, Εθεώρησα και ιδού, λυχνία όλη χρυσή και δοχείον επί της κορυφής αυτής, και οι επτά λύχνοι αυτής επ' αυτής και επτά σωλήνες εις τους λύχνους τους επί της κορυφής αυτής,

3 and, Two Olive-trees, by it, —one upon the right hand of the bowl, and one upon the left hand thereof.

και δύο ελαίαι επάνωθεν αυτής, μία εκ δεξιών του δοχείου και μία εξ αριστερών αυτής.

4 Then responded I, and said unto the messenger who was speaking with me, saying, —What are these, my lord?

Και απεκρίθην και είπα προς τον άγγελον τον λαλούντα μετ' εμού, λέγων, Τι είναι ταύτα, κύριέ μου;

5 Then answered the messenger who was speaking with me, and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these, are? And I said, No my lord.

Και απεκρίθη ο άγγελος ο λαλών μετ' εμού και είπε προς εμέ, Δεν γνωρίζεις τι είναι ταύτα; Και είπα, Ουχί, κύριέ μου.

6 Then responded he, and spake unto me, saying, This, is the word of Yahweh, unto Zerubbabel, saying, —Not by wealth, nor by strength, but by my spirit, saith Yahweh of hosts.

Και απεκρίθη και είπε προς εμέ, λέγων, Ούτος είναι ο λόγος του Κυρίου προς τον Ζοροβάβελ, λέγων, Ουχί διά δυνάμεως ουδέ διά ισχύος αλλά διά του Πνεύματός μου, λέγει ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων.

7 Who, art, thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel, [brought down] to a plain! So shall he bring forth the headstone, with thundering shouts Beautiful! Beautiful! thereunto.

Τις είσαι συ, το όρος το μέγα, έμπροσθεν του Ζοροβάβελ; πεδιάς· και θέλει εκφέρει τον ακρογωνιαίον λίθον εν αλαλαγμώ, Χάρις, χάρις εις αυτόν

8 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:

Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων,

9 The hands of Zerubbabel, have founded this house, and, his hands, shall finish it, —So shalt thou know that, Yahweh of hosts, hath sent me unto you.

Αι χείρες του Ζοροβάβελ έθεσαν το θεμέλιον του οίκου τούτου και αι χείρες αυτού θέλουσι τελειώσει αυτόν· και θέλεις γνωρίσει ότι ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων με απέστειλε προς εσάς.

10 For who hath despised the day of small things? Yet shall they rejoice, when they see the plummet-stone in the hand of Zerubbabel, —these seven! The eyes of Yahweh, they are—running to and fro throughout all the earth.

Διότι τις κατεφρόνησε την ημέραν των μικρών πραγμάτων; θέλουσι βεβαίως χαρή και θέλουσιν ιδεί τον κασσιτέρινον λίθον εν τη χειρί του Ζοροβάβελ οι επτά εκείνοι οφθαλμοί του Κυρίου, οι περιτρέχοντες διά πάσης της γης.

11 Then responded I, and said unto him, —What are these two olive-trees, upon the right of the lampstand, and upon the left thereof?

Τότε απεκρίθην και είπα προς αυτόν, Τι είναι αι δύο αύται ελαίαι επί τα δεξιά της λυχνίας και επί τα αριστερά αυτής;

12 And I responded a second time, and said unto him, —What are the two branches of the olive- trees which join the two golden tubes, which empty out of them the golden oil?

Και απεκρίθην εκ δευτέρου και είπα προς αυτόν, Τι είναι οι δύο κλάδοι των ελαιών, οίτινες διά των δύο χρυσών σωλήνων εκκενόνουσιν εξ εαυτών το έλαιον εις την χρυσήν λυχνίαν;

13 And he spake unto me, saying, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

Και είπε προς εμέ λέγων, Δεν γνωρίζεις τι είναι ταύτα; Και είπα, Ουχί, κύριέ μου.

14 Then said he, These, are the two Anointed Ones, —who stand near the Lord of all the earth.

Τότε είπεν, Ούτοι είναι οι δύο κεχρισμένοι, οι παριστάμενοι πλησίον του Κυρίου πάσης της γης.
