Zechariah 12
1 The oracle of the word of Yahweh, on Israel, —Declareth Yahweh—Stretching out the heavens, and founding the earth, and fashioning the spirit of man within him:
Uma revelação da palavra de Iavé a respeito de Israel: Javé, que estende os céus e lança os alicerces da terra, e forma o espírito do homem dentro dele diz:
2 Lo! I am making Jerusalem a bowl of reeling to all the peoples, round about, —Moreover also, on Judah, shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem;
“Eis que farei de Jerusalém um cálice de roda para todos os povos vizinhos, e será também sobre Judá no cerco contra Jerusalém.
3 And it shall come to pass, in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a lifting-stone, to all the peoples, all who seek to lift her, shall, cut themselves in pieces, —though all the nations of the earth, gather themselves together against her.
Acontecerá nesse dia que farei de Jerusalém uma pedra pesada para todos os povos. Todos os que se sobrecarregarem com ela serão gravemente feridos, e todas as nações da terra serão reunidas contra ela.
4 In that day, Declareth Yahweh, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness, —and, over the house of Judah, will I keep opening mine eyes, and, every horse of the peoples, will I smite with blindness.
Naquele dia”, diz Yahweh, “eu atacarei cada cavalo com terror e seu cavaleiro com loucura”. Abrirei meus olhos sobre a casa de Judá, e baterei em todos os cavalos dos povos com cegueira”.
5 Then will the chiefs of Judah say in their hearts, —A strength unto me, [would be] the inhabitants of Jerusalem, in Yahweh of hosts, their God.
Os chefes de Judá dirão em seu coração: “Os habitantes de Jerusalém são minha força em Iavé dos Exércitos seu Deus”.
6 In that day, will I make the chiefs of Judah like a pan of fire among sticks, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf, so shall they devour, on the right hand and on the left, all the peoples round about; so shall Jerusalem yet, be inhabited, in her own place, as Jerusalem.
Naquele dia farei os chefes de Judá como uma panela de fogo entre lenha, e como uma tocha flamejante entre feixes. Eles devorarão todos os povos vizinhos à direita e à esquerda; e Jerusalém habitará mais uma vez em seu próprio lugar, mesmo em Jerusalém.
7 But Yahweh will save the tents of Judah first, —lest the honour of the house of David, and the honour of the inhabitant of Jerusalem, should be magnified over Judah.
Yahweh também salvará primeiro as tendas de Judá, que a glória da casa de Davi e a glória dos habitantes de Jerusalém não sejam ampliadas acima de Judá.
8 In that day, will Yahweh, throw a covering, around the inhabitant of Jerusalem, so shall the tottering among them, in that day, become like David, —and the house of David—like God, like the messenger of Yahweh, before them.
Naquele dia, Javé defenderá os habitantes de Jerusalém. Aquele que for fraco entre eles naquele dia será como Davi, e a casa de Davi será como Deus, como o anjo de Javé diante deles.
9 And it shall come to pass, in that day, —That I will seek to destroy all the nations, that come against Jerusalem.
Acontecerá naquele dia, que procurarei destruir todas as nações que vierem contra Jerusalém.
10 But I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitant of Jerusalem, the spirit of favour, and of supplications, and they will look unto me, whom they have pierced, —and will wail over him, as one waileth over an only son, and will make bitter outcry over him, as one maketh bitter outcry over a firstborn.
derramarei sobre a casa de Davi e sobre os habitantes de Jerusalém o espírito de graça e de súplica. Eles olharão para mim quem trespassaram; e chorarão por ele como se chorasse por seu único filho, e chorarão amargamente por ele como se chorasse por seu primogênito.
11 In that day, will the wailing, be great, in Jerusalem, as the wailing of Hadadrimmon, in the valley of Megiddon;
Naquele dia haverá um grande luto em Jerusalém, como o luto de Hadadrimmon no vale de Megiddo.
12 So shall the land, wail, family by family, apart, —the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart, the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
A terra chorará, cada família à parte; a família da casa de Davi à parte, e suas esposas à parte; a família da casa de Natã à parte, e suas esposas à parte;
13 The family of the house of Levi, apart, and their wives apart, the family of Shimei, apart, —and their wives apart:
a família da casa de Levi à parte, e suas esposas à parte; a família dos Shimeítas à parte, e suas esposas à parte;
14 All the families that remain, family by family, apart, —and their wives, apart.
todas as famílias que permanecerem, cada família à parte, e suas esposas à parte.
