< Titus 1 >

1 Paul, a servant of God—an apostle moreover of Jesus Christ, —according to the faith of the chosen ones of God, and the personal knowledge of the truth that is according to godliness, —
An Paulo, ma jatich Nyasaye kendo ma jaote Yesu Kristo ema andikonu baruwani. Nyasaye ne oora mondo ajiw yie mar joma Nyasaye oyiero obed motegno, kendo mondo apuonjgi adiera mamiyo giluoro Nyasaye,
2 In hope of life age-abiding; which God, who cannot lie, promised before age-during times, (aiōnios g166)
kuom geno yudo ngima mochwere, mane Nyasaye, ma ok riambi osesingore chon ni nomiwa. (aiōnios g166)
3 but hath manifested in its fitting seasons, even his word, in the proclamation with which entrusted am I—by injunction of our Saviour God:
Nyasaye ma Jawarwa ema nohulo wachne malongʼo e ndalo mane en owuon oketo, kendo nogolo chik ni an ema onego miya tich mar lando wachneno.
4 Unto Titus, my true child according to a common faith, —favour and peace, from God [our] Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour.
Ne Tito, wuoda mar adier kuom yie moriwowa e achiel: Ngʼwono gi kwe moa kuom Nyasaye Wuoro kod Kristo Yesu ma Jawarwa obed kodi.
5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that, the things remaining undone, thou mightest completely set in order, and mightest establish, in every city, elders, as, I, with thee arranged: —
Gima omiyo ne aweyi Krete ne en ni mondo irie gik moko mane odongʼ kapok atieko, kendo mondo iyier jodong kanisa e dala ka dala, kaka ne achiki ni itim.
6 If anyone is unaccusable, a husband of, one wife, having children that believe, who are not charged with riotous excess, nor insubordinate;
Jaduongʼ kanisa nyaka bed ngʼat ma wach moro amora marach onge kuome, kendo ngʼatno man-gi dhako achiel, ngʼat ma nyithinde oyie kendo ma ok nyal kwan kaka nyithindo maricho kendo ma wigi tek.
7 For it is needful that the overseer be—unaccusable, as God’s steward, not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not ready to wound, not seeking gain by base means,
Nikech jatend kanyakla mar jo-Kristo en ngʼat marito tich Nyasaye, omiyo nyaka obed ngʼat ma wach moro amora marach onge kuome. Kik obed ngʼat mamiyo kanyakla mar joma oyie tingʼ mapek. Bende kik obed ngʼat mochayo ji kata ma ja-mirima, kata ngʼat mamer gi kongʼo, kata ngʼat mohero dhawo, kata ngʼat moyudo mwandu e yor mibadhi.
8 But hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, kind, possessing self-control,
To nyaka obed ngʼat mohero rwako welo, mohero gigo mabeyo, ngʼat ma terore mos, ma ja-ratiro, moluoro Nyasaye; kendo mawinjo puonj.
9 Holding fast, in the matter of his teaching, the faithful word, that he may be able both to encourage with his healthful instruction, and, the gainsayers, to refute.
Nyaka omak motegno puonj migeno, mana kaka osepuonje e kinde motelo, mondo eka ojiw joma moko gi puonj madier kendo okwer joma kwedo puonjno.
10 For there are many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision, —
Nikech nitie ji mangʼeny ma jongʼanyo, ma gin mana jothor wach kendo jowuond ji, to moloyo jogo moter nyangu ma gin jo-Yahudi moyie.
11 Whose mouths must needs be stopped, men who are upsetting whole houses, teaching the things which ought not [to be taught] —for the sake of base gain.
Jogi nyaka kwer mondo olingʼ, nikech giketho mier mangʼeny ka gipuonjo gik ma ok owinjore gipuonji; kendo gitimo kamano mana mondo giyudie ohala ma ok nikare.
12 Said one from among them, a prophet, of their own!—Cretans! always false, mischievous wild-beasts, idle gluttons:
Kata mana janabi moro ma margi owuon osewacho niya, “Jo-Krete riambo kinde duto, gin ondiegi malich ma timbegi richo kendo gin jowuoro ma budho abudha.”
13 This witness, is true, —for which cause, be reproving them sharply, that they may be healthy in their faith,
Wach janabigino en adier. Omiyo kwergi matek mondo eka gibed gi yie mar adier,
14 Not giving heed to Judaical stories and commandments of men who are turning away from the truth:
kendo mondo kik gichik itgi ni sigendini mag jo-Yahudi kata ni chike mag joma odagi adiera.
15 All things, are pure, unto the pure, but, unto the polluted and faithless, nothing, is pure, but polluted are both their mind and conscience;
Gik moko duto ler mana ni jomaler, to kuom joma okethore ma ok oyie to onge gima ler. Chutho, pachgi kaachiel gi chunygi monego onyisgi kethogi osetho.
16 God, they confess that they know, but, by their works, they deny him, being, abominable, and obdurate, and, as to any good work, found, worthless.
Giwacho ni gingʼeyo Nyasaye to gikwedo Nyasaye nogo gi timbegi manono. Gin acheje ma wigi tek kendo ok ginyal timo gimoro amora maber.
