Titus 2
1 But do, thou, speak the things which become the healthful instruction: —
Իսկ դուն խօսէ՛ ինչ որ կը պատշաճի ողջամիտ վարդապետութեան:
2 That, aged men, be, sober, grave, sober-minded, healthy in their faith, love, endurance;
Տարեցները թող ըլլան զգաստ, պատկառելի, խոհեմ, եւ ողջամիտ՝ հաւատքով, սիրով ու համբերութեամբ:
3 Aged women, in the same way, in deportment, as becometh sacred persons, not given to intrigue, nor yet, to much wine, enslaved, teachers of virtue, —
Տարեց կիներն ալ թող վարուին այնպէս՝ ինչպէս կը վայլէ սրբութեան, եւ ըլլան ո՛չ չարախօս, ո՛չ գինեմոլ, հապա՝ բարի բաներ սորվեցնող.
4 That they may constrain the young women to be, lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children,
որպէսզի սորվեցնեն դեռահասակ կիներուն՝ սիրել իրենց ամուսինները, սիրել իրենց զաւակները,
5 soberminded, chaste, workers at home, good, submitting themselves to their own husbands, —that, the word of God, be not defamed;
եւ ըլլալ խոհեմ, մաքրակենցաղ, տնաշէն, բարեգործ, իրենց ամուսիններուն հպատակ, որ Աստուծոյ խօսքը չհայհոյուի:
6 The younger men, in the same way, exhort thou to be sober-minded:
Նոյնպէս յորդորէ՛ երիտասարդները որ ըլլան խոհեմ:
7 In all things, shewing, thyself, an ensample of noble works, —in thine instruction, uncorruptness, gravity,
Ամէն բանի մէջ դուն քեզ ցոյց տուր իբր տիպար՝ բարի գործերու. վարդապետութեան մէջ՝ ցոյց տուր անեղծութիւն, պատկառանք,
8 healthful discourse that cannot be condemned, in order that, he that is of the contrary part, may relent, having nothing to say concerning us that is disparaging:
ողջամիտ եւ անպարսաւելի խօսք, որպէսզի հակառակողը ամչնայ՝ մեր մասին չարախօսելիք ոչինչ ունենալով:
9 Servants, unto their own masters, to be submitting themselves in all things, to be, well-pleasing, not gainsaying,
Յորդորէ՛ ստրուկները՝ որ հպատակին իրենց տէրերուն ու հաճելի ըլլան անոնց՝ ամէն բանի մէջ. չհակաճառեն,
10 not taking anything away, shewing, all good faith, —that, the instruction which is of our Saviour God, they may adorn in all things.
չխորեն, հապա բոլորովին բարի հաւատարմութիւն ցոյց տան, որպէսզի զարդարեն մեր Փրկիչ Աստուծոյ վարդապետութիւնը՝ ամէն բանի մէջ:
11 For the favour of God, bringing salvation for all men, hath shone forth,
Քանի որ Աստուծոյ փրկարար շնորհքը երեւցաւ բոլոր մարդոց,
12 Putting us under discipline—in order that, —denying ourselves of ungodliness and worldly covetings, in a soberminded and righteous and godly manner, we should live, in the present age, (aiōn g165)
կրթելով մեզ՝ որ ուրանանք ամբարշտութիւնն ու աշխարհային ցանկութիւնները, եւ ապրինք խոհեմութեամբ, արդարութեամբ ու բարեպաշտութեամբ՝ այս ներկայ աշխարհին մէջ, (aiōn g165)
13 Prepared to welcome the happy hope and forthshining of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Christ Jesus, —
սպասելով այն երանելի յոյսին եւ մեծ Աստուծոյ ու մեր Փրկիչ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի փառքին երեւումին:
14 Who gave himself up in our behalf, that he might redeem us from all manner of lawlessness, and purify for himself a people as his own treasure—zealous of noble works.
Ան ընծայեց ինքզինք մեզի համար, որպէսզի ազատագրէ մեզ ամէն անօրէնութենէ, եւ մաքրելով՝ ընէ իր սեփական ժողովուրդը, նախանձախնդիր բարի գործերու:
15 As to these things, be speaking and exhorting and reproving, with all manner of precept: let, no one, disregard thee!
Ըսէ՛ այս բաները, յորդորէ՛ ու կշտամբէ՛ ամբողջ հեղինակութեամբ: Ո՛չ մէկը թող արհամարհէ քեզ:
