2 [SHE] Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! [THEY] For better are thy caresses than wine:
Tika ete bibebu na yo epesa ngai beze, pamba te bolingo na yo eleki vino na elengi.
3 Like the fragrance of thy precious oils, Oil poured out, is thy name, For this cause, virgins love thee.
Solo ya malasi na yo ezali kitoko, mobimba na yo ezali lokola solo ya malasi ya kitoko oyo epanzani; yango wana bilenge basi balingaka yo!
4 [SHE] Draw me! [THEY] After thee, will we run! [SHE] The king, hath brought me, into his chambers. [THEY] We will exult and rejoice in thee, we will mention thy caresses, beyond wine, Sincerely they love thee.
Tokende na yo elongo, tokima mbangu! Mokonzi akotisi ngai na bashambre na ye! Tovanda elongo na esengo mpe tosepela na tina na yo, tosanzola bolingo na yo, oyo eleki vino ya kitoko na elengi. Solo, ezali na pamba te nde basi balulaka yo!
5 [SHE] Swarthy, I am but comely, ye daughters of Jerusalem. [THEY] Like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.
Oh bilenge basi ya Yelusalemi, nazali mwindo, kasi nazali kitoko! Solo, nazali mwindo lokola bandako ya kapo ya Kedari, lokola barido ya kitoko na ndako ya kapo ya Salomo.
6 [SHE] Do not look on me, because, I, am so swarthy, because the sun hath scorched me, —My mother’s sons, were angry with me, they set me to keep the vineyards, Mine own vineyard, have I not kept. …
Kokamwa ngai te mpo ete nazali mwindo, pamba te moyi nde eyindisi ngai. Bana mibali ya mama na ngai basilikelaki ngai, bakomisaki ngai mokengeli bilanga ya vino. Solo, bilanga na ngai moko ya vino, nazalaki kokoka lisusu te kokengela yango.
7 Tell me, thou loved of my soul! Where wilt thou pasture thy flock? Where wilt thou let them recline at noon? For why should I be as one that wrappeth a veil about her, by the flocks of thy companions?
Oh mobali oyo ngai nalingaka, yebisa ngai esika nini oleisaka bibwele na yo, esika nini opemisaka bampate na yo na midi! Mpo na nini nazala lokola mwasi oyo azali koyengayenga sima na bibwele ya baninga na yo?
8 [HE] If thou know not of thyself, most beautiful among women! get thee forth in the footsteps of the flock, and pasture thy kids by the huts of the shepherds. …
Oh mwasi oyo aleki basi nyonso na kitoko, soki oyebi yango te, landa kaka matambe ya bibwele, na banzela oyo yango elekeli, mpe leisa bana bantaba ya basi na yo pembeni ya bandako ya kapo ya babateli bibwele.
9 To a mare of mine, in the chariots of Pharaoh, have I likened thee, my fair one!
Oh bolingo na ngai, nazali komona yo lokola mpunda ya mwasi oyo ebendaka shar ya Faraon.
10 Comely are thy cheeks, with bead-rows, thy neck, with strings of gems.
Matama na yo ezalaka kitoko kati na biloko ya matoyi, mpe kingo na yo ebongaka na mayaka.
11 [THEY] Rows of golden ornaments, will we make thee, with studs of silver.
Tokolukela yo biloko ya matoyi ya wolo oyo batia bambuma ya mike-mike ya palata.
12 [SHE] By the time the king is in his circle, my nard, will have given out its fragrance:
Tango mokonzi azalaki kolia na mesa na ye, malasi na ngai ya nare ezalaki kopanza solo na yango ya kitoko.
13 A bag of myrrh, is my beloved to me, between my breasts, shall it tarry the night!
Molingami na ngai azali mpo na ngai lokola liboke ya malasi ya mire, akolekisa butu na ye na kati-kati ya mabele na ngai.
14 A cluster of henna, is my beloved to me, in the vineyards of En-gedi.
Molingami na ngai azali mpo na ngai lokola liboke ya bambuma ya ene oyo ewutaka na bilanga ya vino ya Eyini-Gedi.
15 [HE] Lo! thou art beautiful my fair one, lo! thou art beautiful, Thine eyes, [are] doves!
Oh mwasi na ngai ya motema, ozali kitoko! Solo, ozali penza kitoko makasi! Miso na yo elala lokola ebenga.
16 [SHE] Lo! thou art beautiful, my beloved, Yea delightful! [BOTH] Yea! our couch, is covered with leaves:
Mobali na ngai, tala ndenge nini ozali kitoko! Ozali penza elengi. Mbeto na biso ezali nde matiti ya mobesu,
17 The beams of our house, are cedars, Our fretted ceiling, is cypress-trees.
