Romans 9
1 Truth, say I, in Christ, I utter no falsehood, —my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit, —
၁ငါသည်ခရစ်တော်၏တပည့်ဖြစ်၍မှန် သောစကားကိုယခုငါပြော၏။ လိမ်လည် ၍မပြော။ ငါသည်မှန်သောစကားကိုပြော ကြောင်းသန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်၏အုပ်စိုး မှုကိုခံသောငါ၏သြတ္တပ္ပစိတ်ကလည်း သက်သေခံ၏။-
2 That I have great grief and incessant travail in my heart;
၂ငါ၏စိတ်နှလုံးသည်ငါ၏အမျိုးသား၊ ငါ ၏သားချင်းတို့အတွက်ဝမ်းနည်းပူဆွေးလျက် အခါမလပ်ပြင်းပြသောဝေဒနာကိုခံ စားလျက်ရှိ၏။ သူတို့၏အကျိုးငှာငါ သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ကျိန်စာသင့်တော်မူ ခြင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ခရစ်တော်နှင့်ကွဲကွာ မှုကိုလည်းကောင်းခံလိုသောဆန္ဒရှိ၏။-
3 For I could have wished to be accursed, even I myself, from the Christ, in behalf of my brethren my kinsmen according to the flesh; —

4 Who, indeed, are Israelites, whose are the sonship, and the glory, and the covenants, and the legislation, and the divine service, and the promises,
၄သူတို့သည်ကားဘုရားသခင်၏လူစုတော် ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူတို့အား သားများအဖြစ်ဖြင့်ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူ၍ မိမိ၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော်ကိုဖူးမြင်ခွင့် ပေးတော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတို့နှင့် ပဋိညာဉ်များပြုတော်မူ၏။ သူတို့အား ပညတ်တရားကိုပေးအပ်တော်မူ၏။ သူ တို့သည်မှန်ကန်သောဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်နည်း နှင့်ကတိတော်များကိုခံယူရရှိ၏။-
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom is the Christ—according to the flesh—he who is over all, God, blessed unto the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
၅သူတို့သည်ဟေဗြဲအမျိုးသားဘိုးဘေး များမှဆင်းသက်လာသူများတည်း။ ခရစ် တော်သည်လူ့ဇာတိအားဖြင့်ထိုသူတို့၏ အမျိုးအနွယ်ပင်ဖြစ်ပေသည်။ ခပ်သိမ်းသော အရာတို့ကိုအစိုးရတော်မူသောဘုရား သခင်သည်ထာဝစဉ်မင်္ဂလာရှိတော်မူပါ စေသတည်း။ အာမင်။ (aiōn g165)
6 It is not, however, as though the word of God had failed; for, not all they who are of Israel, the same are Israel.
၆ဘုရားသခင်၏ကတိတော်အတိုင်းအကောင် အထည်မပေါ်ဟုငါမဆိုလို။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုသော်ဘုရားသခင်၏လူစုတော်တွင် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားအားလုံးမပါဝင် သောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။-
7 Neither, because they are seed of Abraham, are all children, —but, In Isaac, shall there be called unto thee a seed.
၇ထို့အပြင်အာဗြဟံမှဆင်းသက်လာသူအား လုံးတို့သည်အာဗြဟံ၏သားမြေးအစစ် မဟုတ်ပေ။ ဘုရားသခင်က``သင်သည်ဣဇက် အားဖြင့်သာလျှင်သားမြေးများရလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုအာဗြဟံအားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
8 That is—not the children of the flesh, the same are children of God; but, the children of the promise, are reckoned as a seed.
၈တစ်နည်းကားသာမန်အားဖြင့်မွေးဖွားသော အာဗြဟံ၏သားမြေးများသည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏သားသမီးများမဟုတ်။ ကိုယ်တော်ကတိတော် အတိုင်းမွေးဖွားလာသူများကိုသာလျှင် အာဗြဟံ၏သားမြေးအစစ်အမှန်များ ဟုခေါ်နိုင်ပေသည်။-
9 For, of promise, is this word—According to this season, will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
၉ဘုရားသခင်က``အချိန်တန်သောအခါငါလာ ခဲ့မည်။ စာရာသည်သားယောကျာ်းကိုဖွားမြင် လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုအာဗြဟံအားကတိထားတော် မူသတည်း။
10 And, not only so, but, when, Rebekah also, was with child, of one—Isaac our father, —
၁၀ထို့အပြင်ရေဗက္က၏သားနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် ငါ တို့ဘိုးဘေးဣဇာက်နှင့်ရသောသားများဖြစ် ကြ၏။-
11 They, in fact, not being yet born, nor having practised anything good or bad, —in order that the purpose of God by way of election might stand, —not by works but by him that was calling,
၁၁သို့သော်သူတို့မဖွားမီ၊ အဆိုးအကောင်းကို မပြုမကျင့်နိုင်မီကပင်လျှင် ဘုရားသခင် သည်ရေဗက္ကအား``သင်၏သားကြီးသည်သား ငယ်၏အစေကိုခံရလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူခြင်း မှာကိုယ်တော်သည် မိမိအကြံအစည်ကို ဖော်ပြရန်ဖြစ်ပေသည်။ ယင်းသို့ရွေးကောက် တော်မူရာ၌အကျင့်အပေါ်တွင်တည်သည် မဟုတ်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ခေါ်ယူတော်မူခြင်း အပေါ်၌တည်ပေသည်။-
12 It was said unto her—The elder, shall serve the younger;

13 Even as it is written—Jacob, have I loved, but, Esau, have I hated.
၁၃ကျမ်းစာတော်တွင်``ယာကုပ်ကိုငါချစ်၏။ ဧသောကိုမုန်း၏'' ဟုလာသတည်း။
14 What, then, shall we say? Is there injustice with God? Far be it!
၁၄သို့ဖြစ်၍ဘုရားသခင်သည်တရားမျှတမှု မရှိဟုဆိုရမည်လော။ အဘယ်နည်းနှင့်မျှ မဆိုနိုင်။-
15 For, unto Moses, he saith—I will have mercy upon whomsoever I can have mercy, and I will have compassion upon whomsoever I can have compassion.
၁၅ကိုယ်တော်ကမောရှေအား``ငါကျေးဇူးပြုလို သူကိုကျေးဇူးပြုမည်။ သနားလိုသူကို သနားမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
16 Hence, then, it is nor of him that wisheth nor of him that runneth, but of the mercy-shewing God.
၁၆ထို့ကြောင့်ဘုရားသခင်၏ရွေးချယ်မှုသည် လူ၏အလိုဆန္ဒသို့မဟုတ်လူ၏ကြိုးစား အားထုတ်မှုအပေါ်တွင်မတည်။ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ကရုဏာတော်အပေါ်၌သာတည်ပေသည်။-
17 For the Scripture saith unto Pharaoh—Unto this end, have I raised thee up, that I may thus shew in thee my power, and that I may declare my name in all the earth.
၁၇ကိုယ်တော်ကဖာရောဘုရင်အား``သင့်ကိုဘုရင် အဖြစ်ငါချီးမြှောက်ရခြင်းအကြောင်းမှာ သင့် အားဖြင့်ငါ၏တန်ခိုးတော်ကိုပြ၍ကမ္ဘာတစ် ဝန်းတွင်ငါ၏ဂုဏ်သတင်းပျံ့နှံ့စေရန်ဖြစ်၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းကျမ်းစာတော်က ဆိုသည်။-
18 Hence, then, —on whom he pleaseth, he hath mercy, and, whom he pleaseth, he doth harden.
၁၈သို့ဖြစ်၍ကိုယ်တော်သည်မိမိသနားလိုသူကို သနားတော်မူ၍ မိမိခေါင်းမာစေလိုသူကို ခေါင်းမာစေတော်မူ၏။
19 Thou wilt say to me, then—Why longer findeth he fault? For, his purpose, who hath withstood?
၁၉``ထိုသို့ဖြစ်ပါမူဘုရားသခင်သည်လူတို့ ကိုအဘယ်သို့လျှင်အပြစ်တင်နိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်သူသည်ကိုယ်တော်၏အလိုတော်ကို ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပြုနိုင်ပါမည်နည်း'' ဟူ၍မေး မြန်းလိုသူရှိလိမ့်မည်။-
20 O man! Who, nevertheless, art, thou, that art answering again unto God? Shall the thing formed say unto him that formed it—Why didst thou make me thus?
၂၀မိတ်ဆွေ၊ သင်သည်အဘယ်သူဖြစ်၍ဘုရား သခင်အားဤသို့လျှောက်ထားနိုင်သနည်း။ အဖန်ဆင်းခံကဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူရှင်အား``အရှင် သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်အကျွန်ုပ်အားဤသို့ ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူပါသနည်း'' ဟုမေးနိုင်မည် လော။-
21 Or hath not the potter a right over the clay—out of the same lump, to make some, indeed, into a vessel for honour, and some for dishonour?
၂၁အိုးထိန်းသည်၌ရွှံ့စေးကိုမိမိအလိုဆန္ဒ အတိုင်းပြုလုပ်ပိုင်ခွင့်ရှိသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သူသည်ရွှံ့တုံးတစ်ခုတည်းမှအိုးကောင်း အိုးညံ့ကိုပြုလုပ်ပိုင်သည်မဟုတ်လော။
22 And, if God—wishing to shew his anger and to make known his power—bare, in much patience, with vessels of anger already fitted for destruction,
၂၂ဘုရားသခင်သည်လည်းဤနည်းအတိုင်းပင်ပြု တော်မူသည်။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်အမျက်တော်ကိုပြ ရန်နှင့် တန်ခိုးတော်ကိုထင်ရှားစေရန်အလိုရှိ တော်မူ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်အမျက်တော်သင့်၍ပျက်စီး ဆုံးရှုံးထိုက်သူတို့အားအလွန်သည်းခံတော် မူ၏။-
23 In order that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy which he prepared beforehand for glory, —
၂၃ထို့အပြင်ကိုယ်တော်သည်မိမိကရုဏာထား တော်မူသောငါတို့အား မိမိ၏ကြွယ်ဝသော ဘုန်းအသရေတော်ကိုဖူးမြင်စေရန်လည်း အလိုရှိတော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ဘုန်းအသရေ တော်ကိုခံစားခွင့်ရစေရန်ကိုယ်တော်ပြင်ဆင် ထားသူများဖြစ်ကြသော ငါတို့အားထို ကြွယ်ဝသောဘုန်းအသရေကိုခံစားစေ တော်မူ၏။-
24 Whom he also called, even us, not only from among Jews, but also from among the nations, [what then?]
၂၄ငါတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်ခေါ်ယူတော်မူသော သူများဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ငါတို့ကို ခေါ်ယူရာတွင်ယုဒအမျိုးသားများအထဲ မှသာမက လူမျိုးခြားများအထဲမှ လည်းခေါ်ယူတော်မူသတည်း။
25 As also in Hosea he saith—I will call the not-my-people, My people, and the not-beloved, beloved,
၂၅ဟောရှေကျမ်းတွင်ကိုယ်တော်က ငါ၏လူစုတော်မဟုတ်သူတို့ကို `ငါ၏လူစုတော်' ဟုငါခေါ်မည်။ ငါမချစ်သောလူမျိုးကိုငါချစ်သောလူမျိုး ဟုငါခေါ်မည်။
26 And it shall be—in the place where it was said [to them]—not my people are, ye! there, shall they be called—Sons of a Living God.
၂၆မည်သည့်အရပ်၌မဆိုသင်တို့သည် `ငါ၏ လူစုတော်မဟုတ်' ဟုအခေါ်ခံရသောသူတို့သည် `အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသောဘုရားသခင်၏ သားများ' ဟုအခေါ်ခံရကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟူ၍မိန့်တော်မူပေသည်။-
27 Isaiah, moreover, exclaimeth over Israel—Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant, shall be saved;
၂၇ဣသရေလလူမျိုးနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ဟေရှာယ က ``ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည်ပင်လယ် ကမ်းခြေရှိသဲလုံးနှင့်အမျှများပြားစေကာ မူ သူတို့အထဲမှလူနည်းစုသာလျှင်ကယ်တင် ခြင်းကိုခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။-
28 For, a complete and concise account, will the Lord make upon the earth.
၂၈အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ဘုရားရှင်သည်ကမ္ဘာ ပေါ်ရှိလူအပေါင်းတို့ကိုမဆိုင်းမတွဘဲ အလျင်အမြန်တရားစီရင်တော်မူမည်ဖြစ် သောကြောင့်တည်း'' ဟုကြွေးကြော်ခဲ့၏။-
29 And, even as Isaiah hath before said, —If, the Lord of hosts, had not left us a seed, as Sodom, had we become, and, as Gomorrha, had we been made like.
၂၉ထို့အပြင် ``အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည်ငါတို့လူမျိုးမပျောက်ကွယ်သွားစေရန် ငါတို့သားမြေးအချို့တို့ကိုချမ်းသာပေး တော်မမူခဲ့လျှင် ငါတို့သည်သောဒုံမြို့နှင့် ဂေါမောရမြို့တို့၏ကံကြမ္မာနှင့်တွေ့ကြုံ ကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုယခင်ကဟေရှာယဖော်ပြ ခဲ့သည့်အတိုင်းပင်ဖြစ်ပေသည်။
30 What, then, shall we say? That, they of the nations, who were not in pursuit of righteousness, have laid hold of righteousness, —a righteousness, however, which is by faith;
၃၀ငါတို့ဆိုလိုသည်မှာဤသို့တည်း။ ဘုရား သခင်နှင့်မှန်ကန်စွာဆက်ဆံနိုင်ရန်မကြိုး ပမ်းသောလူမျိုးခြားတို့သည် ယုံကြည်ခြင်း အားဖြင့် ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်မှန်ကန်စွာဆက်သွယ် ခွင့်ကိုရရှိကြ၏။-
31 Whereas, Israel, though in pursuit of a law of righteousness, unto a law, have not attained.
၃၁သို့ရာတွင်ရွေးကောက်တော်မူခြင်းကိုခံရ သောလူစုတော်သည်ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်မှန်ကန် စွာဆက်သွယ်စေမည့်တရားဥပဒေကိုရှာ သော်လည်းမတွေ့ရှိကြ။-
32 Wherefore? Because, not by faith but as by works, [have they sought it]: they have stumbled at the stone of stumbling,
၃၂အဘယ်ကြောင့်နည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော် သူတို့၏လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်သည်ဘုရားသခင် အားယုံကြည်မှုအပေါ်၌အခြေမပြုဘဲ မိမိတို့၏အကျင့်သီလအပေါ်၌အခြေ ပြုသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ကျမ်းစာတော် တွင်ဖော်ပြသည့်ကျောက်ကိုတိုက်မိ၍လဲ ကြ၏။-
33 Even as it is written—Lo! I lay in Zion, a stone to strike against and a rock to stumble over, and, he that resteth faith thereupon, shall not be put to shame.
၃၃ကျမ်းစာတော်တွင်၊ ``ကြည့်လော့။ လူတို့တိုက်မိ၍လဲစေရန်ကျောက်တစ်လုံးကို ဇိအုန်တောင်ပေါ်မှာငါချထားမည်။ ထိုကျောက်ကိုလူတို့တိုက်မိ၍လဲကြလိမ့်မည်။ သို့ရာတွင်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုယုံကြည်သူသည် အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှစိတ်ပျက်ရလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်'' ဟုဖော်ပြပါရှိသတည်း။
