< Romans 8 >

1 Hence there is now, no, condemnation unto them who are in Christ Jesus;
Enti afɔbu nni hɔ ma wɔn a wɔwɔ Kristo Yesu mu,
2 For, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, hath set thee free from the law of sin and of death; —
efisɛ Honhom Kronkron no ama mo nkwa a efi Kristo Yesu nkyɛn, na agye mo afi mmara a ɛde owu ba.
3 For, what was impossible by the law in that it was weak through the flesh, God, by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,
Esiane ɔhonam mmerɛwyɛ nti, Mose Mmara no antumi annye yɛn. Enti Onyankopɔn yɛɛ nea Mmara no antumi anyɛ. Ɔnam nʼankasa ne Ba a ɔsomaa no wɔ onipa bɔnesu so no ba bɛbɔɔ afɔre maa yɛn, na obebuu bɔne atɛn de pepaa yɛn bɔne.
4 In order that, the righteous requirement of the law, might be fulfilled in us—who, not according to flesh, do walk, but according to spirit;
Onyankopɔn yɛɛ eyi, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a Kristo bɛyɛ Mmara no asɛde ama yɛn, yɛn a yɛnnantew ɔhonam fam, na mmom yɛnantew honhom mu no.
5 For, they who according to flesh have their being, the things of the flesh do prefer, but, they according to the spirit, the things of the spirit;
Wɔn a ɔhonam mmerɛwyɛ hyɛ wɔn so no dwene bɔne nko ara ho. Wɔn a wɔnam Honhom mu no dwene Honhom de.
6 For, what is preferred by the flesh, [is] death, whereas, what is preferred by the spirit, [is] life and peace; —
Wɔn a wɔwɔ ɔhonam mmerɛwyɛ adwene no bewu. Wɔn nso a wɔnam Honhom mu no benya nkwa ne asomdwoe.
7 Inasmuch as, what is preferred by the flesh, [is] hostile towards God, for, unto the law of God, it doth not submit itself, neither in fact can it.—
Adwene a ɛdwene ɔhonam mu no tan Onyankopɔn, efisɛ ɛmmrɛ ne ho ase mma Onyankopɔn mmara; na mpo ɛrentumi.
8 They, moreover, who in flesh have their being, cannot please, God.
Wɔn a wodwen ɔhonam mu no rentumi nsɔ Onyankopɔn ani.
9 But, ye, have not your being in flesh, but in spirit, —if at least, God’s Spirit, dwelleth in you; and, if anyone hath not Christ’s Spirit, the same, is not his; —
Sɛ Onyankopɔn Honhom te mo mu a, ɛnyɛ ɔhonam mmrɛwyɛ na edi mo so. Na sɛ obi nni Kristo Honhom a, ɔnyɛ Kristo dea.
10 But, if Christ is in you, the body, indeed, is dead by reason of sin, whereas, the spirit, is life by reason of righteousness;
Ɛwɔ mu sɛ bɔne bɛma mo nipadua yi awu de, nanso sɛ Kristo te mo mu a, ne trenee nti mo honhom te ase.
11 If, moreover, the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from among the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised from among the dead Christ Jesus, shall make alive [even] your death-doomed bodies, through means of his indwelling Spirit within you.
Sɛ Onyankopɔn Honhom a onyan Yesu fii awufo mu no te mo mu a, ɛno de, nea onyan Kristo fii awufo mu no nso nam ne Honhom a ɛwɔ mo mu no so bɛma mo nipadua a ewu yi nso nkwa.
12 Hence, then, brethren—debtors, we are, not unto the flesh, that, according to flesh, we should live, —
Enti anuanom, yɛwɔ asodi bi, nanso yɛnyɛ mma ɔhonam no sɛnea ɔpɛ.
13 For, if according to flesh ye live, ye are about to die, whereas, if in spirit, the practices of the flesh, ye are putting to death, ye shall attain unto life;
Sɛ motena ase ma ɔhonam a, mubewu. Nanso sɛ moma Honhom no kum bɔne a nipadua no yɛ a, mubenya nkwa.
14 For, as many as by God’s Spirit are being led, the same, are God’s sons, —
Wɔn a Onyankopɔn Honhom di wɔn so no yɛ Onyankopɔn mma.
15 For ye have not received a spirit of servitude, leading back into fear, but ye have received a spirit of sonship, whereby we are exclaiming—Abba! Oh Father!
Efisɛ moannya honhom a ɛma mo yɛ nkoa bio ma osuro, na mmom moanya mmayɛ Honhom na yɛnam ne so su se, “Abba, Agya!”
16 The Spirit itself, beareth witness together with our spirit that we are children of God;
Na Honhom no ankasa ne yɛn honhom di adanse sɛ yɛyɛ Onyankopɔn mma.
17 And, if children, heirs also—heirs, indeed, of God, but co-heirs with Christ, —if, at least, we are suffering together, in order that we may also be glorified together.
Esiane sɛ yɛyɛ Onyankopɔn mma nti yɛyɛ adedifo; Onyankopɔn adedifo a yɛne Kristo wɔ kyɛfa wɔ mu, nanso gye sɛ yɛne no kyɛ nʼamanehunu ansa na yɛne no akyɛ nʼanuonyam no.
18 For I reckon that unworthy are the sufferings of the present season to be compared with the glory about to be revealed towards us;
Minim sɛ amane a yɛrehu no saa bere yi nyɛ nea wɔde toto anuonyam a wɔbɛhyɛ yɛn no ho.
19 For, the eager outlook of creation, ardently awaiteth the revealing of the sons of God, —
Abɔde nyinaa de anigyina rehwɛ da a Onyankopɔn mma bɛda wɔn ho adi no kwan.
20 For, unto vanity, hath creation been made subject—not by choice, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope
Efisɛ bere a emfi abɔde pɛ mu no, wɔnam Onyankopɔn tumi mu buu abɔde fɔ sɛ ɛnnan ade hunu. Nanso na saa anidaso yi wɔ hɔ
21 That, creation itself also, shall be freed—from the bondage of the decay into the freedom of the glory of the sons of God;
sɛ, da bi, abɔde no bɛde ne ho afi nkoayɛ ne ɔporɔw mu na ɛne Onyankopɔn mma anya ahofadi mu anuonyam.
22 For we know that, all creation, is sighing together, and travailing-in-birth-throes together until the present, —
Yenim sɛ ebesi saa bere yi abɔde nyinaa pene sɛ ɔpemfo a awo aka no.
23 And, not only so, but, we ourselves, also, who have the first-fruit of the Spirit—[we] even ourselves, within our own selves do sigh, —sonship ardently awaiting—the redeeming of our body; —
Nanso ɛnyɛ abɔde nko, na yɛn a yɛwɔ Onyankopɔn Honhom sɛ Onyankopɔn akyɛde no nso si apini bere a yɛretwɛn sɛ Onyankopɔn de yɛn bɛyɛ ne mma. Eyi kyerɛ sɛ yɛbɛde yɛn ho wɔ ɔhonam fam nso.
24 For, by our hope, have we been saved, —but, hope beheld, is not hope, for, what one beholdeth, why doth he hope for?
Na wɔnam saa anidaso yi so gyee yɛn nkwa. Sɛ yehu nea yɛn ani da so no de a, na ɛnyɛ anidaso bio. Na hena na nʼani tumi da ade a ɔwɔ dedaw so?
25 If, however, what we do not behold we hope for, with endurance, are we ardently awaiting [it]; —
Na sɛ yɛn ani da ade a yɛn nsa nkae so a, yɛde boasetɔ twɛn.
26 In the selfsame way moreover, even the Spirit, helpeth together in our weakness, —for, what we should pray for as we ought, we know not, but, the Spirit itself, maketh intercession with sighings unutterable,
Saa ara na Honhom no boa yɛn wɔ yɛn mmerɛwyɛ mu, efisɛ, yennim ɔkwan a wɔfa so bɔ mpae sɛnea ɛsɛ. Honhom no ankasa de apinisi de nsɛm a enni kabea di ma yɛn.
27 And, he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what is preferred by the Spirit—that, according to God, he maketh intercession in behalf of saints;
Onyankopɔn a ohu nnipa koma mu no nim Honhom no nsusuwii, efisɛ Honhom no nam Onyankopɔn pɛ so di ma Onyankopɔn mma wɔ nʼanim.
28 We know, further, that, unto them who love God, God causeth all things to work together for good, —unto them who, according to purpose, are such as he hath called;
Yenim sɛ ade nyinaa mu no Onyankopɔn di boa wɔn a wɔdɔ no ma ewie wɔn yiye. Edi boa wɔn a ɔnam nʼatirimpɔw so afrɛ wɔn.
29 For, whom he fore-approved, he also fore-appointed to be conformed unto the image of his Son, that he might be firstborn among many brethren, —
Wɔn a Onyankopɔn ayi wɔn dedaw no, ɔde wɔn asi hɔ sɛ wɔnyɛ sɛ ne Ba no, na ne Ba no ayɛ anuanom pii mu abakan.
30 And, whom he fore-appointed, the same, he also called, and, whom he called, the same, he also declared righteous, and, whom he declared righteous, the same, he also made glorious: —
Onyankopɔn frɛɛ wɔn a oyii wɔn sii hɔ no, na wɔn a oyii wɔn no, obuu wɔn bem. Na wɔn a obuu wɔn bem no, ɔhyɛɛ wɔn anuonyam nso.
31 What, then, shall we say to a these things? If God [is] for us, who [shall be] against us?
Afei, asɛm bɛn; dɛn na yɛbɛka afa eyinom ho? Onyankopɔn wɔ yɛn afa a, hena na ɔne yɛn bedi asi?
32 He, at least, who his own Son did not spare, but in behalf of us all delivered him up, how shall he not also, with him, all things upon us in favour bestow?
Nea wankame nʼankasa ne Ba, na mmom yɛn nyinaa nti oyii no mae no, ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na ɔmfa ade nyinaa nso nka ne ho mmɛdom yɛn?
33 Who shall bring an accusation against the chosen ones of God? God, who declareth righteous?
Hena na obebu wɔn a Onyankopɔn ayi wɔn no atɛn? Onyankopɔn nko na obu bem.
34 Who is he that condemneth? Christ [Jesus] who died?—Nay! rather was raised [from among the dead], —who is on the right hand of God, who also is making intercession in our behalf?
Hena na obu fɔ? Kristo Yesu ne nea owui na wonyan no na ɔte Onyankopɔn nifa so di ma yɛn wɔ Onyankopɔn anim no.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?—
36 According as it is written—For thy sake, are we being put to death all the day long, we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter.—
Dabi da! Wɔakyerɛw se, “Wo nti wokum yɛn daa nyinaa; wobu yɛn sɛ nguan a wɔrekokum wɔn.”
37 Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquering through him that hath loved us.
Nanso eyinom nyinaa mu no, yɛnam nea ɔdɔɔ yɛn no so di nkonim boro so.
38 For I am persuaded that—neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
Migye di ampa sɛ owu anaa nkwa anaa abɔfo anaa atumfo anaa nneɛma a ɛwɔ hɔ anaa nneɛma a ɛrebɛba anaa tumi
39 Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
anaa ɔsoro anaa fam anaa abɔde foforo biara rentumi ntetew yɛn ne Onyankopɔn dɔ a ɛwɔ Kristo Yesu, yɛn Awurade, mu no mu da.
