< Romans 14 >
1 Him that is weak in his faith, receive ye, —not for disputing opinions: —
Mixɔ nɔvi ɖe sia ɖe si adi be yeage ɖe hamea me la nyuie, ne eƒe xɔse mesẽ ŋu o hã. Migahe nya ɖe eŋu le eƒe susu siwo to vovo tso mia tɔwo gbɔ la ŋu le nu si nyo alo nu si menyo o la ta o.
2 One, indeed, hath faith to eat all things, whereas, he that is weak, eateth herbs:
Migahe nya kple ame aɖeke be enyo be wòaɖu lã si wotsɔ sa vɔe na legbawo loo alo menyo o. Mixɔe se be nu vɔ̃ aɖeke mele nu sia me o, ke ame siwo ƒe xɔse gbɔdzɔ wu mia tɔ la buna be menyo o, eye woagbe lãɖuɖu kura aɖu amagbewo ko ɖe lã ma tɔgbi ɖuɖu teƒe.
3 Let not, him that eateth, despise him that eateth not, and let not, him that eateth not, judge him that eateth; for, God, hath received him.
Mele be ame siwo buna be enyo be woaɖu lã ma tɔgbi la nado vlo ame siwo mebuna nenema o. Ne mienye ame siwo meɖunɛ o la, migaɖe vodada na ame siwo aɖui o. Elabena Mawu xɔ wo be woanye ye viwo.
4 Who art, thou, that judgest another’s domestic? To his own master, he standeth or falleth; he shall, however, be made to stand, —for his master is able to make him stand.
Mawu ƒe subɔlawo wonye, menye miawo ƒe subɔlawo wonye o. Mawue wole agbe na, menye miawoe wole agbe na o. Mina Mawu nana woanya ne wo tɔ dzɔ loo alo wo tɔ medzɔ o. Mawu ate ŋu ana woawɔ nu si wòle be woawɔ la.
5 [For], one, indeed esteemeth one day beyond another, whereas, another, esteemeth every day: —let, each one, in his own mind be fully persuaded.
Ame aɖewo buna be ele be woawɔ kristotɔwo ƒe ŋkekenyuiwo kple ŋkeke tɔxɛwo ŋu dɔ atsɔ asubɔ Mawu, ke ame aɖewo gblɔ be menyo o, eye wònye abunɛnu be woaɖe fu na ame ɖokui nenema, elabena ŋkeke sia ŋkeke nye Mawu tɔ. Ele be ame sia ame natso nya siawo tɔgbi me na eɖokui.
6 He that regardeth the day, unto the Lord, regardeth it, —and, he that eateth, unto the Lord, doth eat, for he giveth thanks unto God; and, he that eateth not, unto the Lord, doth not eat and give God thanks.
Ne ŋkeke tɔxɛwo le mia si hena Aƒetɔ la subɔsubɔ la, miele agbagba dzem be yewoade bubu eŋu, eye wònye nu nyui aɖe miele wɔwɔm. Nenema kee nye ame si ɖu lã si wotsɔ sa vɔe na legbawo; eda akpe na Mawu ɖe eta. Eya hã wɔe nyuie. Ame si madi be yeaɖu lã ma tɔgbi o la hã di be yeadze Aƒetɔ la ŋu, eye wòle akpe dam.
7 For, none of us, unto himself liveth, and, none, unto himself dieth;
8 For both, if we live, unto the Lord, we live, and, if we die, unto the Lord, we die; whether therefore we live, the Lord’s, we are; or whether we die, the Lord’s, we are;
9 For, to this end, Christ died and lived, in order that, both of dead and living, he might have lordship.
Nu sia tututu tae Kristo ku, eye wògatsi tsitre ɖo, ale be wòate ŋu anye míaƒe Aƒetɔ le agbe kple ku me.
10 But, thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? Aye! and thou, why dost thou despise thy brother? For, all of us, shall present ourselves unto the judgment seat of God;
11 For it is written—Living am, I, saith the Lord, unto me, shall bow every knee, and, every tongue, shall openly confess unto God.
Elabena woŋlɔe ɖi be, “Yehowa be, ‘Zi ale si mele agbe la, ame sia ame adze klo nam, eye aɖe sia aɖe aʋu nya me na Mawu.’”
12 Hence, [then], each one of us, of himself shall give account unto God.
Nyateƒe, ame sia ame ana akɔnta tso eɖokui ŋu na Mawu.
13 No longer, then, upon one another, let us be sitting in judgment, but, this, judge ye rather—not to be putting a cause of stumbling before your brother or an occasion to fall.
Eya ta mègaɖe vodada na nɔviwò azɔ o. Le esia teƒe la, dze agbagba, eye nànɔ agbe, ale be mànye nuɖiaɖia na nɔviwò ne ekpɔ wò nèle nu si eya bu be menyo o la wɔm o.
14 I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus—that, nothing, is profane of itself, —save to him who reckoneth anything to be profane, unto that man, [it is] profane,
Le nye ŋutɔ gome la, meka ɖe Aƒetɔ Yesu ƒe ŋusẽ dzi be naneke megblẽ le lã si wotsɔ sa vɔe na legbawo la ɖuɖu ŋu o. Ke ne ame aɖe ya xɔe se be menyo o la, ekema mele be wòaɖui o, elabena menyo le eya gbɔ o.
15 If, in fact, because of food, thy brother is being grieved, no longer, by the rule of love, art thou walking: —do not, by thy food, that man, be destroying, on whose behalf Christ died!
Eye ne nu si nàɖu anye nuɖiaɖia na nɔviwò la, mèle nu wɔm le lɔlɔ̃ me, ne èɖui o. Mègana wò nuɖuɖu nagblẽ nu le ame si ta Kristo ku ɖo la ŋu o.
16 Therefore, suffer not to be defamed, your own good thing;
Mègawɔ nu si ana amewo naɖe vodada na wò o, togbɔ be ènya be nu si yewɔ la nyo hafi hã.
17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in Holy Spirit;
18 For, he that in this doeth service unto the Christ, is acceptable unto God, and approved unto men.
19 Hence, then, the things pertaining to peace, let us pursue, and the things which belong to the upbuilding one of another:
Eya ta mina ŋutifafa nanɔ hamea me, eye miadze agbagba ado ŋusẽ mia nɔewo.
20 Do not, for the sake of food, be throwing down the work of God! All things, indeed, are pure; but, ill, is it for the man who with occasion of stumbling doth eat, —
Migana lãkɔ ɖeka nagblẽ Mawu ƒe dɔwɔwɔ me o. Miɖo ŋku edzi be naneke megblẽ le lã ŋu o, ke enye nu vɔ̃ be nàɖui, eye wòazu nuɖiaɖia na ame bubu.
21 Well, is it not to eat flesh nor to drink wine nor [to do aught] whereby thy brother is caused to stumble.
Nu nyuitɔ si nàwɔ lae nye be nàɖe asi le lãɖuɖu alo ahanono alo nu sia nu si wɔwɔ aɖia nɔviwò nu alo ana wòawɔ nu vɔ̃ la ŋu.
22 The faith which thou hast, have to thyself before God: happy, he that bringeth not judgment upon himself by that which he approveth;
Ànya be nu gbegblẽ aɖeke mele nu si yewɔ la ŋu le Mawu gɔ̃ hã gbɔ o, ke wɔe na ɖokuiwò ko. Mègaɖe wò nu si nèxɔ se be enyo la fia le ame bubu siwo nu wòaɖia la ŋkume o. Le go sia me la, woayra ame si mewɔ nu vɔ̃ to nu si wònya be enyo la wɔwɔ me o.
23 But, he that is in doubt, if he eat, hath condemned himself, —because, [it was] not of faith, and, everything which is not of faith, is sin.
Ke ame sia ame si xɔ se be nu si yedi be yeawɔ menyo o la, mele be wòawɔe o. Ne ewɔe la, ewɔ nu vɔ̃, elabena ebu be menyo o, eya ta nua menyo na eya o. Nu sia nu si wòawɔ to nu si wònya be enyo gbɔ la nye nu vɔ̃.
