< Romans 14 >
1 Him that is weak in his faith, receive ye, —not for disputing opinions: —
Mumpochele jwelejo jwakulepetala mu chikulupi nkakanilana nawo nkati ng'anisyo syao.
2 One, indeed, hath faith to eat all things, whereas, he that is weak, eateth herbs:
Mundu jumo akwete chikulupi, akulya indu yose, nambo jwine jwalepetele mu chikulupi, akulya maponda pe.
3 Let not, him that eateth, despise him that eateth not, and let not, him that eateth not, judge him that eateth; for, God, hath received him.
Mundu jwakulya indu yose, akasanjalusya jwelejo jwangakulya indu yose. Ni mundu jwakulya maponda pe, akasanlamula jwelejo jwakulya indu yose, pakuŵa Akunnungu ankundile jwelejo.
4 Who art, thou, that judgest another’s domestic? To his own master, he standeth or falleth; he shall, however, be made to stand, —for his master is able to make him stand.
Ana mmwejo nduni junkunlamula jwakutumichila jwa jwine? Ajimaga uchenene pa masengo gao pane agwaga, lyele lili pachanya pa mmbujegwe. Nombejo chajime mwakulimbila, pakuŵa Ambuje chakombole kunjimika.
5 [For], one, indeed esteemeth one day beyond another, whereas, another, esteemeth every day: —let, each one, in his own mind be fully persuaded.
Mundu jumo akukombola kuganisya kuti lyuŵa limo lili lyambone kupunda moŵa gane nambo jwine akukombola kuganisya kuti moŵa gose gali yalumo. Kwapele mundu jwalijose ajitichisye yakuti pakuganisya nsyene.
6 He that regardeth the day, unto the Lord, regardeth it, —and, he that eateth, unto the Lord, doth eat, for he giveth thanks unto God; and, he that eateth not, unto the Lord, doth not eat and give God thanks.
Mundu jwalijose jwakuliwona lyuŵa lili lyambone, akutenda yeleyo kwakwakusya Ambuje. Ni jwakulya indu yose, akutenda yeleyo kwakwakusya Ambuje, pakuŵa akwatogolela Akunnungu kwaligongo lya chakulya chiŵapele. Iyoyo ni jwangakulya indu yose, akutenda yeleyo kwakwakusya Ambuje, ni jwelejo nombe akwatogolela Akunnungu.
7 For, none of us, unto himself liveth, and, none, unto himself dieth;
Pakuŵa ngapagwa namose jumo pasikati jetu jwakutama kwa liwamba lyakwe nsyene atamuno ngapagwa jwakwasika kwa liwamba lyakwe nsyene.
8 For both, if we live, unto the Lord, we live, and, if we die, unto the Lord, we die; whether therefore we live, the Lord’s, we are; or whether we die, the Lord’s, we are;
9 For, to this end, Christ died and lived, in order that, both of dead and living, he might have lordship.
Pakuŵa Kilisito ŵajasiche ni kusyuka kwa ligongo lyo, melepe aŵeje Ambuje ŵao ŵaajasiche ni ŵajumi nombe nawo.
10 But, thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? Aye! and thou, why dost thou despise thy brother? For, all of us, shall present ourselves unto the judgment seat of God;
Kwachichi mmwe nkunlamula mpwenu jo? Pane uli alakwe kunjalusya mpwenu jo? Pakuŵa uweji wose tutujime paujo pa chitengu cha ulamusi cha Akunnungu.
11 For it is written—Living am, I, saith the Lord, unto me, shall bow every knee, and, every tongue, shall openly confess unto God.
Pakuŵa mpela Malembelo ga Akunnungu yagakuti pakusala, Ambuje akuti, “Isyene indite kuŵa Akunnungu jwanjumi, kila mundu chachitindiŵala paujo pangu ni kila mundu chachijitichisya kuŵecheta nsyene kuti Une ndili Akunnungu jwanjumi.”
12 Hence, [then], each one of us, of himself shall give account unto God.
Kwayele, kila jwalijose pasikati jetu chaliŵalanje nsyene kwa aila iyaitesile paujo pa Akunnungu.
13 No longer, then, upon one another, let us be sitting in judgment, but, this, judge ye rather—not to be putting a cause of stumbling before your brother or an occasion to fall.
Nipele, tukasalamulana twachinsyene nambo tulilolechesye, mundu akasammichila njakwe chakukuŵasya pane kuntenda agwilile mu sambi.
14 I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus—that, nothing, is profane of itself, —save to him who reckoneth anything to be profane, unto that man, [it is] profane,
Une jwanumbikene ni Ambuje Che Yesu, ngumanyilila kuti ngapagwa chakulya chachili chakusakala paujo pa Akunnungu. Nambo mundu aganisyaga kuti chakulya chine chili chakusakala paujo pa Akunnungu, chele chakulya cho chili chakusakala kwa jwelejo.
15 If, in fact, because of food, thy brother is being grieved, no longer, by the rule of love, art thou walking: —do not, by thy food, that man, be destroying, on whose behalf Christ died!
Nambo mwansupusyaga mpwenu kwa ligongo lya yakulya inkulya, nlesile kutenda mu unonyelo. Chakulya chinkulya chikaŵa ligongo lya kunsoyasya mpwenu juŵawililwe ni Kilisito.
16 Therefore, suffer not to be defamed, your own good thing;
Iyoyo kasinjitichisya kuti chindu chinkuchiwona ŵanyamwe chambone chijaluswe.
17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in Holy Spirit;
18 For, he that in this doeth service unto the Christ, is acceptable unto God, and approved unto men.
Pakuŵa mundu jwalijose jwakuntumichila Kilisito kwanti yeleyo, akwanonyelesya Akunnungu, sooni akukundikwa ni ŵandu.
19 Hence, then, the things pertaining to peace, let us pursue, and the things which belong to the upbuilding one of another:
Nipele, iŵaga yeleyo, tulimbile nnope kutendekanya indu yaikwikanawo chitendewele ni yaikutukamuchisya kulimbisyana mitima mu chikulupi.
20 Do not, for the sake of food, be throwing down the work of God! All things, indeed, are pure; but, ill, is it for the man who with occasion of stumbling doth eat, —
Kasingajonanga masengo ga Akunnungu kwa ligongo lya yakulya. Isyene yakulya yose yeswejeswe, nambo ngaŵa yambone kulya chakulya chachikuntendekasya jwine agwilile mu sambi.
21 Well, is it not to eat flesh nor to drink wine nor [to do aught] whereby thy brother is caused to stumble.
Ili yambone kuleka kulya nyama ni kung'wa divai, pane kuleka ineine yaikukombola kuntendekasya mpwenu agwilile mu sambi.
22 The faith which thou hast, have to thyself before God: happy, he that bringeth not judgment upon himself by that which he approveth;
Chikulupi chinkwete cho chisigalile kukwenu ni Akunnungu. Jwana upile jwelejo jwangakulilamula nsyene, pakuŵa akukulupilila kuti aila yaitesile ikwanonyelesya Akunnungu.
23 But, he that is in doubt, if he eat, hath condemned himself, —because, [it was] not of faith, and, everything which is not of faith, is sin.
Nambo mundu jwakwete lipamba ni indu yakulya, Akunnungu akunlamula pakulya pakuŵa chakuchitenda akutenda pangali chikulupi. Ni chindu chachili chose chakupanganya mundu iŵaga akuchipanganya pangali chikulupi, chelecho chili sambi.
