Romans 12
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living, holy sacrifice, unto God acceptable, —your rational divine service;
१म्हणून बंधूंनो देवाची दया स्मरून मी तुम्हास विनंती करतो की, तुम्ही आपली शरीरे ‘पवित्र व देवाला संतोष देणारे जिवंत ग्रहणीय’ यज्ञ म्हणून सादर करावीत; ही तुमची आध्यात्मिक सेवा आहे.
2 And be not configuring yourselves unto this age, but be transforming yourselves by the renewing of your mind, to the end ye may be proving what is the thing willed by God—the good and acceptable and perfect. (aiōn g165)
२आणि या जगाशी समरूप होऊ नका पण तुमच्या मनाच्या नवीनीकरणाने तुमचे रूपांतर होऊ द्या; म्हणजे देवाची उत्तम व त्यास संतोष देणारी परिपूर्ण इच्छा काय आहे ती तुम्ही ओळखावी. (aiōn g165)
3 For I say, through the favour which hath been given me, unto every one who is among you, —not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but so to think as to think soberly—as, unto each one, God hath dealt a measure of faith.
३कारण मला दिलेल्या कृपेच्या योगे, मी तुमच्यातील प्रत्येक जणाला असे सांगतो की, त्याने स्वतःला जसे मानावे त्याहून अधिक मोठे मानू नये, पण प्रत्येक जणाला देवाने दिलेल्या विश्वासाच्या परिमाणानुसार त्याने समंजसपणे स्वतःला मानावे.
4 For, just as in one body we have many members, yet, all the members, have not the same office,
४कारण आपल्याला एका शरीरात जसे पुष्कळ अवयव आहेत आणि सर्व अवयवांचे काम एक नाही,
5 So, we, the many, are one body in Christ, yet, severally, members one of another.
५तसे आपण पुष्कळ असून ख्रिस्तात एक शरीर आहोत; आणि आपण एकमेकांचे अवयव आहोत.
6 Now, having gifts of favour, according to the favour given unto us, differing—whether prophesying, [let us use it] according to the proportion of our faith,
६पण आपल्याला पुरविलेल्या कृपेप्रमाणे आपल्याला वेगवेगळी कृपादाने आहेत; जर ते परमेश्वराचा संदेश देणे असेल तर विश्वासाच्या परिमाणानुसार आपण संदेश द्यावेत;
7 Or ministering, [use it] in our ministering, or he that teacheth, [let him use his gift] in his teaching,
७सेवा असेल, तर सेवा करण्यात तत्पर रहावे; जो शिक्षण देतो त्याने शिक्षण देण्यात,
8 Or he that exhorteth, in his exhorting, he that imparteth, [let it be] with liberality, he that taketh a lead, with diligence, he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
८किंवा बोध करतो त्याने बोध करण्यात तत्पर रहावे; जो दान देतो त्याने औदार्याने द्यावे; जो कारभार चालवतो त्याने तत्परतेने कारभार चालवावा, जो दया करतो त्याने संतोषाने दया करावी.
9 Your love, [be] without hypocrisy, —loathing that which is wicked, cleaving to that which is good;
९प्रीती निष्कपट असावी. वाईटापासून दूर रहा, चांगल्याला बिलगून रहा.
10 In your brotherly love, unto one another, being tenderly affectioned, in honour, unto one another, giving preference;
१०बंधुप्रेमात एकमेकांशी सहनशील, मानात एकमेकांना अधिक मानणारे,
11 In business, not slothful, in spirit, fervent, to the Lord, doing service,
११कामात आळशी न होत, आत्म्यात उत्तेजित होऊन प्रभूची सेवा करणारे व्हा.
12 In hope, rejoicing, in tribulation, enduring, in prayer, persevering,
१२आशेत आनंद करणारे, संकटात धीर धरणारे, प्रार्थनेत ठाम राहणारे,
13 With the needs of the saints, having fellowship, —hospitality, pursuing.
१३पवित्रजनांच्या गरजेसाठी भागी देणारे, आतिथ्यात पुढे जाणारे असे व्हा.
14 Bless them that persecute, bless, and do not curse.
१४जे तुमचा छळ करतात त्यांना आशीर्वाद द्या; आशीर्वाद द्या, शाप देऊ नका.
15 Rejoice with them that rejoice, weep with them that weep:
१५आनंद करणार्‍यांबरोबर आनंद करा आणि रडणार्‍यांबरोबर रडा.
16 The same thing, one to another regarding, —not the lofty things regarding, but, by the lowly, being led along. Be not getting presumptuous in your own opinion:
१६एकमेकांशी एकमनाचे व्हा, उंच गोष्टींवर मन ठेवू नका, पण दीन अवस्थेत असलेल्यांकडे ओढले जा. स्वतःला समजते तेवढ्यात शहाणे होऊ नका.
17 Unto no one, evil for evil rendering: providing honourable things before all men:
१७वाईटाबद्दल वाईट अशी कोणाची फेड करू नका. सर्व लोकांच्या दृष्टीपुढे चांगल्या गोष्टींवर लक्ष ठेवा.
18 If possible—so far as dependeth on you, with all men being at peace:
१८शक्य असल्यास सर्व लोकांशी तुम्ही आपल्याकडून शांतीने रहा.
19 Not avenging, yourselves, beloved, but give place unto their anger; for it is written—Mine, is avenging, I, will recompense; —saith the Lord;
१९प्रियांनो, तुम्ही स्वतः सूड घेऊ नका, पण क्रोधाला वाव द्या कारण पवित्र शास्त्रात असे लिहिले आहे की, ‘सूड घेणे माझ्याकडे आहे, मी फेड करीन, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.’
20 But—if thine enemy hunger, be feeding him, if he thirst, be giving him drink; for, this doing, coals of fire, shalt thou heap upon his head.
२०पण तुझा वैरी भुकेला असेल तर त्यास खायला दे; तो तान्हेला असेल तर त्यास प्यायला दे; कारण असे करण्यात तू त्याच्या डोक्यावर विस्तवातल्या इंगळांची रास करशील.
21 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
२१वाईटाने जिंकला जाऊ नकोस; पण बऱ्याने वाईटाला जिंक.
