< Romans 10 >
1 Brethren! the delight of my own heart and my supplication God-ward in their behalf, are for salvation;
Hama, kuda kwomwoyo wangu nokunyengetera kwangu kuna Mwari pamusoro pavaIsraeri ndekwokuti vaponeswe.
2 For I bear them witness that they have, a zeal for God, —but not according to correct knowledge;
Nokuti ndinovapupurira kuti vanoshingairira Mwari, asi kushingairira kwavo havakuiti nokuziva.
3 For, not knowing God’s righteousness and, their own, seeking to establish, unto the righteousness of God, have they not submitted;
Nokuti, sezvo vakanga vasingazivi kururama kunobva kuna Mwari uye vakatsvaka kumisa kururama kwavo pachavo, havana kuzviisa pasi pokururama kwaMwari.
4 For Christ is an end of law, for righteousness, unto every one that believeth.
Nokuti Kristu ndiye mugumo womurayiro, kuitira kuti mumwe nomumwe anotenda aruramiswe.
5 For, Moses, writeth that—as touching the righteousness that is by law, The man that hath done [it], shall live thereby;
Mozisi anonyora pamusoro pokururama kwomurayiro, achiti, “Munhu anoita zvinhu izvi achararamiswa nazvo.”
6 Whereas, the righteousness by faith, thus speaketh—Do not say in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? That is, to bring, Christ, down,
Asi kururama kunobva pakutenda kunoreva kudai, “Usati mumwoyo mako, ‘Ndianiko achakwira kudenga’ (ndiko kuburutsa Kristu)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the abyss? That is, to bring up, Christ, from among the dead; (Abyssos )
kana, kuti, ‘Ndianiko achaburukira kwakadzika?’ (ndiko, kubudisa Kristu kubva kuvakafa).” (Abyssos )
8 But what saith it? Near thee, is the declaration, In thy mouth and in thy heart, —that is, the declaration of the faith, which we proclaim: —
Asi iwo unoti chiiko? “Shoko riri pedyo newe, mumuromo mako uye nomumwoyo mako,” ndiro shoko rokutenda ratinoparidza:
9 That, if thou shalt confess the declaration with thy mouth—That Jesus is, Lord, and shalt believe with thy hear—That, God, raised him from among the dead, thou shalt be saved; —
Kuti kana ukapupura nomuromo wako kuti, “Jesu ndiye Ishe” uye ukatenda mumwoyo mako kuti Mwari akamumutsa kubva kuvakafa, uchaponeswa.
10 For, in heart, it is to be believed unto righteousness, and, by mouth, it is to be confessed unto salvation.
Nokuti unotenda nomwoyo wako ugoruramisirwa, uye unopupura nomuromo wako ugoponeswa.
11 For the scripture saith—No one that resteth faith thereupon, shall be put to shame?
Sezvinorehwa noRugwaro ruchiti: “Ani naani anotenda kwaari haanganyadziswi.”
12 For there is no distinction—of Jew or Greek, —for, the same [Lord], is Lord of all, being rich unto all who call upon him;
Nokuti hapana musiyano pakati pomuJudha noweDzimwe Ndudzi, nokuti Ishe mumwe ndiye Ishe wavose uye anovaropafadza kwazvo vose vanodana kwaari,
13 For, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved: —
nokuti “Ani naani anodana kuzita raShe achaponeswa.”
14 How, then, shall men call upon one in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in one of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear, without one to proclaim?
Zvino, vachagodana seiko kuna iye wavasina kutenda kwaari? Uye vangatenda sei kuna iye wavasina kumbonzwa? Vanganzwa seiko kana kusina anovaparidzira?
15 And how shall they proclaim, except they be sent? Even as it is written—How beautiful the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!
Uye vangaparidza seiko kana vasina kutumwa? Sezvazvakanyorwa zvichinzi: “Dzakanaka sei tsoka dzavanouya namashoko akanaka!”
16 But, not all, have become obedient unto the glad tidings; —for, Isaiah, saith—Lord! who believed what we have heard?
Asi havasi vaIsraeri vose vakagamuchira mashoko akanaka. Nokuti Isaya anoti, “Ishe, ndianiko akatenda zvatakaparidza?”
17 Hence, our faith, cometh by something heard, and, that which is heard, through a declaration of Christ.
Naizvozvo, kutenda kunouya nokunzwa, uye kunzwa neshoko raKristu.
18 But I say: Have they not heard? Yea indeed, —into all the earth, hath gone forth their sound, and, unto the ends of the inhabited world, their declarations.
Asi ndinobvunza kuti: Havana kunzwa here? Zvirokwazvo vakanzwa, nokuti: “Inzwi ravo rakasvika kunyika yose, namashoko avo kumigumo yenyika.”
19 But I say: Hath, Israel, not come to know? First, Moses, saith—I, will provoke you to jealousy on account of a no-nation, on account of an undiscerning nation, will I make you very angry.
Ndinobvunzazve kuti: Israeri haina kunzwa here? Pakutanga Mozisi anoti, “Ndichamutsa godo renyu norudzi rusati rwuri rudzi; ndichamutsa kutsamwa kwenyu norudzi rusinganzwisisi.”
20 Isaiah, however, waxeth daring, and saith, —I have been found by them who after me were not seeking, manifest have I become unto them who for me were not enquiring;
Uye Isaya, asingatyi anoti, “Ndakawanikwa navasina kunditsvaka; ndakazviratidza kuna vaya vasina kunditsvaka.”
21 Whereas, regarding Israel, he saith—All day long, have I stretched forth my hands unto a people unyielding and contradicting.
Asi pamusoro peIsraeri anoti, “Zuva rose ndakatambanudza maoko angu kuvanhu vasingateereri, uye vanokakavara.”
