< Revelation 19 >

1 After these things, I heard as it were, a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying—Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the power of our God!
ⲁ̅ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ ⲡⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲧϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
2 Because, true and righteous, are his judgments; because he hath judged the great harlot, who, indeed, corrupted the earth with her lewdness, —and hath avenged the blood of his servants, at her hand.
ⲃ̅ϫⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲕϩⲁⲡ ϫⲉ ⲁⲕⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲣⲛⲏ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲧⲁⲕⲉ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲥⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲃⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲥϭⲓϫ
3 And, a second time, have they said—Hallelujah! And, her smoke, ascendeth unto ages of ages. (aiōn g165)
ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲙⲉϩⲥⲡⲥⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲥⲕⲁⲡⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn g165)
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures, fell down, and did homage unto God, who sitteth upon the throne, saying—Amen! Hallelujah!
ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲟⲩⲧⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲡⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓ ⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ
5 And, a voice, from the throne, came forth, saying—Be giving praise unto our God, all ye his servants, ye that revere him, the small and the great.
ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲉⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲉϥϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲣ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ ⲛⲕⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲛⲟϭ
6 And I heard as a voice of a great multitude, and as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of mighty thunderings, saying—Hallelujah! Because the Lord, [our] God, the Almighty, hath become king.
ⲋ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲛⲟϭ ⲛϩⲣⲟⲩⲃⲃⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲣⲣⲟ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲡⲁⲛⲧⲱⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ
7 Let us rejoice and exult, and give glory unto him, because the marriage of the Lamb, is come, and, his wife, hath made herself ready;
ⲍ̅ⲙⲁⲣⲛⲣⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲗⲏⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϯ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲅⲁⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲁⲥⲥⲟⲃⲧⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ
8 and it hath been given unto her, that she should be arrayed in fine linen, bright, pure, for, the fine linen, is, the righteous acts of the saints.
ⲏ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲥϭⲟⲟⲗⲉⲥ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲛⲥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲡϣⲛⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ
9 And he saith unto me—Write! Happy, they who, unto the marriage supper of the Lamb, have been bidden! And he saith unto me—These words, are, true [words] of God.
ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲥϩⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲓϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲓϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲉ
10 And I fell down at his feet, to do him homage; and he saith unto me—See! [thou do it] not! A fellow-servant, am I, of thee and of thy brethren who have the witness of Jesus: unto God, do homage! For, the witness of Jesus, is the spirit of the prophecy.
ⲓ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲡⲁϩⲧ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲁⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲱⲣ ϭⲱϣⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲅ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲃⲏⲣ ϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲕⲕⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁⲩ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲁ
11 And I saw heaven, set open, and lo! a white horse, and, he that was sitting thereon, [called] Faithful, and True; and, in righteousness, doth he judge and make war;
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲡⲉ ⲉⲥⲟⲩⲏⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲟⲩϩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲉⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲓϣⲉ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ
12 and, his eyes, are a flame of fire, and, upon his head, are many diadems, having, a name, written, which, no one, knoweth, but himself,
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϩ ⲛⲕⲱϩⲧ ⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲛϭⲣⲏⲡⲉ ϩⲓϫⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉϥⲥⲏϩ ⲉⲙⲛ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϥ
13 and arrayed with a mantle sprinkled with blood, and his name hath been called—The Word of God.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲉϥϭⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲓⲧⲉ ⲉϥϫⲏϭ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
14 And, the armies which were in heaven, were following him, upon white horses, clothed with fine linen, white, pure;
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲧⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲟⲩⲏϩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲧⲁⲗⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲉⲛϩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲉⲩϭⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛϣⲛⲥ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩⲧⲃⲃⲏⲩ
15 and, out of his mouth, is going forth a sharp sword, that, therewith, he may smite the nations, —and, he, shall shepherd them with a sceptre of iron, and, he, treadeth the wine-press of the wrath of the anger of God the Almighty.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲏϥⲉ ⲉⲥⲧⲏⲙ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲣⲱϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲡⲁⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲙⲟⲟⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϭⲉⲣⲱⲃ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲓⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϩⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲣⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲛⲧⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲙⲡϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲡⲁⲛⲧⲱⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ
16 And he hath, upon his mantle and upon his thigh, a name, written—King of kings, and Lord of lords.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉϥⲥⲏϩ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲉϥϩⲟⲓⲧⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲛⲉⲣⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲛϫⲓⲥⲟⲟⲩⲉ
17 And I saw one messenger, standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying, unto all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, —Hither! be gathered together unto the great supper of God, —
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲣⲏ ⲉϥⲁϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲛϩⲁⲗⲁⲁⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲏⲗ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲙⲏⲓⲧⲛ ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
18 that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them who sit upon them, and the flesh of all, both free and bond, and small and great.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲛⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲛⲉⲣⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲭⲓⲗⲓⲁⲣⲭⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛϫⲱⲱⲣⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϩⲧⲱⲱⲣ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲛϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲣⲙϩⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲕⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲛⲟϭ
19 And I saw the wild-beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together—to make war with him who was sitting upon the horse, and with his army.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲧⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲟⲗⲉⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲧⲁⲗⲏⲩ ⲉⲡⲉϩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲧⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲙⲁ
20 And the wild-beast, was taken, and, with him, the false prophet who wrought the signs before him, whereby he deceived them who received the mark of the wild-beast and them who were doing homage unto his image, —alive, were they two cast into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
ⲕ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϭⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲉⲧⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲉⲓⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲡⲗⲁⲛⲁ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲧⲉϥϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲗⲓⲙⲛⲏ ⲛⲥⲁⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲉⲣⲟ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲑⲏⲛ (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
21 And, the rest, were slain with the sword of him that was sitting upon the horse, which went forth out of his mouth, and, all the birds, were filled with their flesh.
