Psalms 86

1 A Prayer. David’s. Bow down, O Yahweh, thine ear—answer me, For, oppressed and needy, am I;

൧ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥന. യഹോവേ, ചെവി ചായിക്കണമേ; എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളണമേ; ഞാൻ എളിയവനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു.

2 O guard my life, For, a man of lovingkindness, am I, —Save thy servant, O thou my God, [Thy servant] who trusteth in thee;

൨എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാക്കണമേ; ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ ഭക്തനാകുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന അടിയനെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.

3 Show me favour, O My Lord, For, unto thee, do I cry, all the day;

൩കർത്താവേ, എന്നോട് കൃപയുണ്ടാകണമേ; ഇടവിടാതെ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.

4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant, For, unto thee, O My Lord, my soul, do I lift.

൪അടിയന്റെ ഉള്ളത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കണമേ; യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയിലേക്ക് ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളം ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

5 For, thou, O My Lord, art good and forgiving, And abundant in lovingkindness, to all who call upon thee.

൫കർത്താവേ, അവിടുന്ന് നല്ലവനും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനും അങ്ങയോട് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരോടും മഹാദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.

6 Give ear, O Yahweh, unto my prayer, And attend unto the voice of my supplications.

൬യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന ചെവിക്കൊള്ളണമേ; എന്റെ യാചനകൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണമേ.

7 In the day of my distress, will I call upon thee, For thou wilt answer me.

൭അവിടുന്ന് എനിക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളുകയാൽ എന്റെ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

8 There is none like unto thee, among the gods, O My Lord, And nothing like thy works.

൮കർത്താവേ, ദേവന്മാരിൽ അങ്ങേക്ക് തുല്യനായി ആരുമില്ല. അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു തുല്യമായി ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തിയുമില്ല.

9 All nations whom thou hast made, Shall come in and bow down before thee, O My Lord, That they may glorify thy Name.

൯കർത്താവേ, അവിടുന്ന് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകലജനതതികളും തിരുമുമ്പിൽ വന്ന് നമസ്കരിക്കും; അവർ അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

10 For great thou art, and doest wondrous things, Thou, O God, of thyself alone.

൧൦അവിടുന്ന് വലിയവനും അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനുമല്ലയോ?; അവിടുന്ന് മാത്രം ദൈവമാകുന്നു.

11 Point out to me, O Yahweh, thy way, I will walk steadfastly in thy truth, My heart will rejoice to revere thy Name.

൧൧യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ വഴി എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കണമെ; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ സത്യത്തിൽ നടക്കും; അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ഏകാഗ്രമാക്കണമേ.

12 I will give thee thanks, Adonay, my God, with all my heart, And will glorify thy Name unto times age-abiding.

൧൨എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

13 For, thy lovingkindness, is great towards me, And thou hast rescued my soul from Hades beneath. (Sheol h7585)

൧൩എന്നോടുള്ള അങ്ങയുടെ ദയ വലിയതാണല്ലോ; അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. (Sheol h7585)

14 O God, the insolent, have arisen against me, And, the assembly of tyrants, have sought my life, And have not set thee before them.

൧൪ദൈവമേ, അഹങ്കാരികൾ എന്നോട് എതിർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. നീചന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം എനിക്ക് പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു. അവർ അങ്ങയെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

15 But, thou, O My Lord, art, A God of compassion and favour, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness a faithfulness.

൧൫കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങ് കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ദീർഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവൻ തന്നെ.

16 Turn thou unto me, and show me favour, —Give thy strength to thy servant, And save the son of thy handmaid.

൧൬എന്നിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞ് എന്നോട് കൃപയുണ്ടാകണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസന് അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തി തന്ന്, അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രനെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.

17 Perform with me a token for good, —That they who hate me may see and be ashamed, In that, thou, Yahweh, hast helped me and comforted me.

൧൭എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ കണ്ട് ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന് നന്മയ്ക്കായി ഒരു അടയാളം എനിക്ക് തരണമേ; യഹോവേ, അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ സഹായിച്ച് ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
