Psalms 86

1 A Prayer. David’s. Bow down, O Yahweh, thine ear—answer me, For, oppressed and needy, am I;

Ihooya rĩa Daudi Wee Jehova, njigua na ũnjĩtĩke, nĩgũkorwo ndĩ mũthĩĩni na mũbatari.

2 O guard my life, For, a man of lovingkindness, am I, —Save thy servant, O thou my God, [Thy servant] who trusteth in thee;

Gitĩra muoyo wakwa, nĩgũkorwo nĩndĩheanĩte harĩwe. Wee nĩwe Ngai wakwa; honokia ndungata yaku ĩno ĩkwĩhokete.

3 Show me favour, O My Lord, For, unto thee, do I cry, all the day;

Njiguĩra tha, Wee Mwathani, nĩgũkorwo ngũkayagĩra mũthenya wothe.

4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant, For, unto thee, O My Lord, my soul, do I lift.

He ndungata yaku gĩkeno, nĩgũkorwo nĩ kũrĩ we, Wee Mwathani, ndorereirie ngoro yakwa.

5 For, thou, O My Lord, art good and forgiving, And abundant in lovingkindness, to all who call upon thee.

Nĩgũkorwo Wee Mwathani ũrĩ mwega na nĩũrekanagĩra, ũkaingĩhia wendo kũrĩ arĩa othe magũkayagĩra.

6 Give ear, O Yahweh, unto my prayer, And attend unto the voice of my supplications.

Igua ihooya rĩakwa, Wee Jehova; thikĩrĩria ikaya rĩakwa ũnjiguĩre tha.

7 In the day of my distress, will I call upon thee, For thou wilt answer me.

Mũthenya ũrĩa ngaakorwo na thĩĩna nĩngagũkaĩra, nĩgũkorwo nĩũkanjĩtĩka.

8 There is none like unto thee, among the gods, O My Lord, And nothing like thy works.

Wee Mwathani, thĩinĩ wa ngai ciothe gũtirĩ ĩngĩ tawe; gũtirĩ ciĩko ingĩhaananio na ciaku.

9 All nations whom thou hast made, Shall come in and bow down before thee, O My Lord, That they may glorify thy Name.

Ndũrĩrĩ ciothe iria ũmbĩte nĩigooka igũthathaiye irĩ mbere yaku, Wee Mwathani; nĩikarehera rĩĩtwa rĩaku riiri.

10 For great thou art, and doest wondrous things, Thou, O God, of thyself alone.

Nĩgũkorwo Wee ũrĩ mũnene, na nĩwĩkaga ciĩko cia kũgegania; Wee wiki nowe Ngai.

11 Point out to me, O Yahweh, thy way, I will walk steadfastly in thy truth, My heart will rejoice to revere thy Name.

Wee Jehova, nyonagĩrĩria njĩra ciaku, nĩgeetha thiiage na mĩthiĩre ya ma; he ngoro ĩĩrutĩire kũna, nĩguo ndĩĩtigagĩre rĩĩtwa rĩaku.

12 I will give thee thanks, Adonay, my God, with all my heart, And will glorify thy Name unto times age-abiding.

Nĩndĩrĩkũgoocaga na ngoro yakwa yothe, Wee Mwathani Ngai wakwa; ngũtũũra ngumagia rĩĩtwa rĩaku nginya tene.

13 For, thy lovingkindness, is great towards me, And thou hast rescued my soul from Hades beneath. (Sheol h7585)

Nĩgũkorwo wendo waku nĩ mũnene harĩ niĩ; nĩũndeithũrĩte kuuma mbĩrĩra-inĩ o kũrĩa kũriku mũno. (Sheol h7585)

14 O God, the insolent, have arisen against me, And, the assembly of tyrants, have sought my life, And have not set thee before them.

Wee Ngai, andũ arĩa etĩĩi nĩmaraatharĩkĩra; gĩkundi kĩa andũ matarĩ tha nĩmaracaria muoyo wakwa, o andũ acio matakũrũmbũyagia.

15 But, thou, O My Lord, art, A God of compassion and favour, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness a faithfulness.

No Wee, Wee Mwathani, ũrĩ Mũrungu mũigua tha na ũrĩ mũtugi, ndũhiũhaga kũrakara, na ũiyũrĩtwo nĩ wendo na wĩhokeku.

16 Turn thou unto me, and show me favour, —Give thy strength to thy servant, And save the son of thy handmaid.

Wĩhũgũre ũndore na ũnjiguĩre tha; he ndungata ĩno yaku hinya waku, na ũhonokie mũriũ wa ndungata yaku ya mũndũ-wa-nja.

17 Perform with me a token for good, —That they who hate me may see and be ashamed, In that, thou, Yahweh, hast helped me and comforted me.

Nyonia kĩmenyithia kĩa wega waku, nĩguo thũ ciakwa ikĩone iconorithio, nĩgũkorwo Wee, Wee Jehova, nĩũndeithĩtie na ũkaahooreria.
