< Psalms 84 >
1 To the Chief Musician. On "the Gittith." For the Sons of Korah. A Melody. How lovely are thy habitations, O Yahweh of hosts!
Ki he Takimuʻa ʻi he Kitita, ko e Saame ki he ngaahi foha ʻo Kola. ʻE Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ʻoku lelei lahi ho ngaahi fale fehikitaki!
2 My soul, longeth—yea even languisheth—for the courts of Yahweh, —My heart and my flesh, shout aloud for a Living GOD.
ʻOku holi hoku laumālie, ʻio, ʻoku ou vaivai ʻi he fie ʻalu ki he ngaahi lotoʻā ʻo Sihova; ʻoku tangi kalanga hoku loto mo hoku kakano ki he ʻOtua moʻui.
3 Even the sparrow, hath found a home, And, the swallow, a nest for herself, where she hath laid her young, Thine altars, O Yahweh of hosts, My king and my God!
ʻIo, kuo ʻilo ʻe he hikiʻi manupuna ʻae fale, mo e kulukulu ha pununga maʻana, ʻaia te ne tuku ki ai ʻene fānau, ʻio, ko ho ngaahi feilaulauʻanga, ʻE Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ko hoku Tuʻi, mo hoku ʻOtua.
4 How happy are they who abide in thy house, —Still are they praising thee. (Selah)
ʻOku monūʻia ʻakinautolu ʻoku nofo ʻi ho fale: tenau kei fakafetaʻi pe kiate koe. (Sila)
5 How happy the men whose strength is in thee, Festive processions are in their heart.
ʻOku monūʻia ʻae tangata ʻoku ʻiate koe hono mālohi; ʻoku ʻi hono loto ʻae ngaahi hala.
6 Passing through the balsam-vale, A place of fountains, they make it, Yea, with blessings, is it covered by the early rain.
Pea ʻi heʻenau ʻalu ʻi he toafa ʻo Peka ʻoku ngaohi ia ko e matavai; ʻoku fakafonu foki ʻe he ʻuha ʻae ngaahi lepa.
7 They go from strength to strength, Each one appeareth before God in Zion.
ʻOku nau ʻalu ʻi he mālohi ki he mālohi, ʻo fakahā taki taha kotoa pē ia ʻi he ʻao ʻoe ʻOtua ʻi Saione.
8 O Yahweh, God of hosts, hear thou my prayer, —Give hear, thou God of Jacob. (Selah)
ʻE Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ke ke fanongo ki heʻeku lotu: fakafanongo, ʻE ʻOtua ʻo Sēkope. (Sila)
9 Our Shield, behold thou, O God, And look upon the face of thine Anointed One.
Vakai, ʻE ʻOtua ko homau fakaū, mo ke ʻafio ki he fofonga ʻo hoʻo pani.
10 For better is a day in thy courts, than a thousand, I choose rather to stand at the threshold in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of lawlessness.
He ʻoku lelei lahi hake ʻae ʻaho pe taha ʻi ho ngaahi loto ʻā, ʻi he ʻaho ʻe taha afe. ʻOku ou fili muʻa ke u nofo ko e leʻo matapā ʻi he fale ʻo hoku ʻOtua, ʻi heʻeku nofo ʻi he ngaahi nofoʻanga ʻoe kovi.
11 For, a sun and shield, is Yahweh God, —Grace and glory, will Yahweh give, He will not withhold what is good, from them who walk without blame.
He ko Sihova ko e ʻOtua ko e laʻā ia mo e fakaū: ʻe foaki ʻe Sihova ʻae ʻaloʻofa mo e nāunau: ʻe ʻikai te ne taʻofi ha meʻa lelei ʻe taha meiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻaʻeva totonu.
12 O Yahweh of hosts! How happy the man who trusteth in thee!
ʻE Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ʻoku monūʻia ʻae tangata ʻoku falala kiate koe.
