Psalms 8

1 To the Chief Musician. On "the Gittith." A Melody of David. O Yahweh, our Lord! How majestic is thy Name, in all the earth, Who hast set thy splendour upon the heavens.

၁အိုအကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ ဘုရား ရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ နာမ တော် သည် မြေကြီး တပြင်လုံး ၌ အလွန် ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူ၏။ ဘုန်း အာနုဘော်တော်သည် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ပေါ် မှာ တည် လျက်ရှိပါ၏။

2 Out of the mouth of children and sucklings, hast thou laid a foundation of strength, —because of thine adversaries, to make foe and avenger be still.

၂ကိုယ်တော် ၏ရန်သူ တို့ကို ရည်ဆောင်၍ ရန်သူကို ၎င်း၊ အငြိုး ထားသောသူကို၎င်း ၊ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာနေစေ ခြင်းငှါ ၊ နို့စို့ သူငယ် တို့၏နှုတ် ထဲ မှအစွမ်း သတ္တိကို စီရင် တော်မူ၏။

3 When I view thy heavens, the work, of thy fingers, moon and stars, which thou hast established,

၃လက်ညှိုး တော်အလုပ် တည်းဟူသောကိုယ်တော် ၏ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ကို၎င်း၊ ပြင်ဆင် တော်မူသောလ နှင့် ကြယ် များကို၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ဆင်ခြင် သော်၊

4 What was weak man, that thou shouldst make mention of him? or the son of the earthborn, that thou shouldst set him in charge?

၄လူ သည် အဘယ်သို့ သောသူဖြစ်၍ ၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အောက်မေ့တော်မူရသနည်း။ လူ သား သည် အဘယ်သို့သောသူဖြစ်၍အကြည့်အရှု ကြွလာတော်မူရ သနည်း။ သူ့ ကို ကောင်းကင်တမန်တို့အောက်၌ အနည်းငယ် နှိမ့် တော်မူပြီ။

5 That thou shouldst make him little less than messengers of God, with glory and honour, shouldst crown him?

၅သူ ၏ခေါင်းကို ဘုန်း အသရေ နှင့် ပတ်ရစ် တော်မူပြီ။

6 Shouldst give him dominion over the works of thy hands, —All things, shouldst have put under his feet:

7 Sheep and oxen, all of them, —yea even the beasts of the field;

8 The bird of the heavens, and the fishes of the sea, — the passer-by on the paths of the seas?

၈ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောအရာများကို အုပ်စိုး စေ၍၊ သိုး နွား အစ ရှိသော မြေ တိရစ္ဆာန် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ငှက် ၊ ပင်လယ် ငါး နှင့် ပင်လယ် လမ်း ၌သွား တတ်သောတိရစ္ဆာန်မှစ၍၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာ တို့ကို သူ ၏ခြေ အောက် ၌ ချထား တော်မူပြီ။

9 O Yahweh, our Lord! How majestic is thy Name, in all the earth.

၉အိုအကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ ဘုရားရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏နာမ သည် မြေကြီး တပြင်လုံး ၌ အလွန် ကြီးမြတ် တော်မူသတည်း။
