< Psalms 74 >

1 An Instructive Psalm. Asaph’s. Wherefore, O God, hast thou cast off utterly? Shall thine anger smoke against the flock of thine own pasturing?
Aw Khawsa, kawtih kumqui dyna nani qoek khqi? Ikawtih na qamno a sainaak awhkaw tuukhqik khan awh nak kaw a so aih.
2 Remember thine own assembly thou didst acquire aforetime, Thou didst redeem the tribe of thine own inheritance, Mount Zion, wherein thou didst take up thy habitation.
Ak kqym awhkaw thlang nak thlaihkhqi, namah ing tlan hyk ti, nang a qo ak pang thlangkhqi na awmnaak Zion tlang ce poek cang lah thoeih ti.
3 Lift up thy steps unto the places utterly unsafe, All the mischief!—the foe in the sanctuary!
Vawhkaw kumqui dy ak plawcikhqi, na hun ciim awh na qaalkhqi ing a hawlaw vawhkaw seetnaak boeih benna nak kaw hawi lah.
4 Thine adversaries have roared in the midst of thine appointed meeting, They have set their ensigns as tokens!
Nang ing kaimih na ning hqumnaak hun awh na qaalkhqi ing khy am kqang unawh; a mimah ang dyih hun simhatnaak ce ling uhy.
5 One used to be known according as he carried up high—into the thicket of trees—the axes;
Kqawng thing ak ding khyng ce hqaica ing a hlam sih amyihna awm uhy.
6 But, now, the doors thereof all together, with axes and hammers, they batter down.
Kut ing ami suk biit biit ik-oeihkhqi boeih hqaica ing deh pheng uhy.
7 They have cast, into the fire, thy sanctuary, To the ground, have they profaned the habitation of thy Name.
Na hun ciim ce dawi unawh tluk sak uhy; Nang ming a awmnaak hun ce tyih awm sak uhy.
8 They have said in their heart, Let us suppress them altogether, They have burned up all the meeting-places of GOD in the land.
Ak kawk khuiawh, “A cuna nawi hoem u sih!” ti uhy. Qam khui awhkaw Khawsa bawknaak imkhqi boeih ce dawi uhy.
9 Our own signs, have we not seen, —There is no longer a prophet, —Neither is there with us, one who knoweth—How long!
Kawpoek kyi hatnaak kaimih a venawh ikawmyih awm am awm hy; tawnghakhqi awm am awm voel hawh nawh, handy nu vemyihna a awm khing kaw tice u ingawm am sim hy.
10 How long, O God, shall the adversary, reproach? Shall the enemy revile thy Name perpetually?
Aw Khawsa, handy awh nu na qaalkhqi ing anik kqawn set kaw? anik qaalnaak ing nang ming ce kqawn seet hly let hawh unawh nu?
11 Wherefore shouldst thou withdraw thy hand—thy right hand? [Bring it] out of the midst of thy bosom! (Selah)
Ikawtih nak tang kut ben ce nak dawh tlaih? Na hibai ak khui awhkawng na kut ce soeng nawhtaw cekkhqi ce him hlah.
12 But, God, hath been my king from aforetime, Working Deliverances in the midst of the earth.
Cehlai, Aw Khawsa nang taw ak kqym awhkawng kai a sangpahrang na awm hyk ti; nang ing khawmdek awh hulnaak hawlaw hyk ti.
13 Thou, didst cleave asunder, in thy might, the sea, Thou didst break in pieces the heads of the Crocodiles, [till they floated] on the waters;
Nang ing ni tuicunli ce nak thaawmnaak ing pek a bo nawh, tui khuiawh ak awm qaihkhqui a lukhqi ce kqek pe sak hyk ti.
14 Thou, didst crush the heads of the Sea-Monster, Thou didst give him to be food, for the people of the deserts;
Nang ing ni Leviathan a lukhqi ve vyk pe kqek kqek nawh qamkoh awhkaw qamsa ham buh na be hyk ti.
15 Thou, didst cleave open fountain and torrent, Thou, didst dry up rivers of steady flow:
Nang ing ni tui bym ingkaw lawngca tuikhqi phyt sak nawh; lawngnu tuipakhqi awm kak sak qup qup hyk ti.
16 Thine, is the day, Yea, thine, the night, Thou, didst establish moon and sun;
Khawkdai ve nang a koena awm nawh, khawmthan awm nang a koe ni; nang ing khawmik ingkaw pihla ce sai hyk ti.
17 Thou, didst set up all the bounds of the earth, As for summer and winter, thou, didst form them!
Nang ing ni khawmdek awhkaw a qi a mawngkhqi boeih na syn hy; khawhqai ingkaw chikca awm sai hyk ti.
18 Remember this, An enemy, hath reproached Yahweh, Yea, an impious people, have reviled thy Name.
Aw Bawipa, na qaal ing ikawmyihna ani thenaak tice sim loet lah, thlakqawkhqi ing nang ming ami seet ami bat ce.
19 Do not deliver up, to a wild beast, the life of thy turtle-dove, The living host of thine oppressed ones, do not forget perpetually.
Na kqukkqu a hqingnaak ce qam sak tlungkhqi venawh koeh pe; namah a khawdeng khuikha thlangkhqi a hqingnaak kumqui dyna koeh hilh.
20 Have respect to thy covenant, For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of violence.
Na paipi ce sim lah, kawtih khawboe seetnaak ing qam khui awhkaw thannaak boeih ce sing hawh hy.
21 May the crushed one not again be confounded, As for the oppressed and the needy, let them praise thy Name.
Ak khuikha thlangkhqi ak kawboet ce sing hawh hy, khawdengkhqi ingkaw ak voethlauhkhqi ing nang ming ce kyihcah lah u seh.
22 Arise! O God, plead thine own cause, Remember the reproach of thee, from the impious one, all the day:
Aw Khawsa, hang dyi nawhtaw na ik-oeih sai ce hul lah; thlakqawkhqi ing a poepa na ani thenaak ce sim loet lah.
23 Do not forget the voice of thine adversaries, The noise of thine assailants, ascending continually.
Na qaalkhqi a tym awi ce ang ngai ngak kana koeh awm, a boet kana ak khy ak kqang na qaalkhqi ak awi ce.
