Psalms 62
1 To the Chief Musician. On Jeduthun—A Melody of David. Surely, towards God, silence [becometh] my soul, From him, is my salvation:
Para Jedutún, el director del coro. Un salmo de David. Solo en Dios encuentro paz. Mi salvación viene de Él.
2 Surely, he, is my rock and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be greatly shaken!
Él es el que me protege y me salva. Él me mantiene a salvo y por ello nunca estaré en peligro.
3 How long will ye shout at a man? Ye shall be crushed all of you, —Like a wall that bulgeth, —a fence pushed in!
¿Hasta cuándo piensan seguir atacándome? ¡Todos ustedes se unen para atacar a un solo hombre! Para ustedes de seguro soy un muro hecho trizas o una valla a punto de desplomarse.
4 Surely, from his elevation, they have taken counsel to thrust him down, They accept falsehood, —With his mouth, they each of them bless, But, inwardly, they revile. (Selah)
Ellos hacen planes para derribarme desde mi lugar alto y aman el engaño. Delante de mí me elogian, pero en su corazón me maldicen. (Selah)
5 Surely, towards God, be thou silent, my soul, For, from him, is mine expectation:
Solo en Dios encuentro paz. Mi esperanza viene de Él.
6 Surely, he, is my rock, and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be shaken!
Él es mi protector y salvador. Me guarda y por ello nunca estaré en peligro.
7 Upon God, [depend] my salvation and mine honour, My rock of strength, my refuge, are in God.
Mi salvación y mi éxito vienen de Dios solamente. Él es mi seguridad y mi protección.
8 Trust ye in him all ye assembly of the people, Pour out, before him, your heart, God, is a refuge for us. (Selah)
Pueblo mío, confía siempre en el Señor. Mediten en Él siempre, porque Él es quien nos cuida. (Selah)
9 Surely, vanity, are men of low degree, Deception, men of high degree, —In the balances, they go up, They, are [made] of vanity, altogether.
La gente común son apenas un aliento, y los líderes son falsos. ¡Si los pusiéramos a todos juntos en la balanza, serían más livianos el aire!
10 Do not trust in extortion, Nor, with robbery, become vain, As for wealth, when it beareth fruit, Do not set [thereon your] heart.
No confíen en el dinero que es producto de la extorsión y el robo. No se enorgullezcan de su riqueza incluso si es producto del éxito. No hagan del dinero su razón de vivir.
11 One thing, hath God spoken, Two things, [there are] which I have heard, That, power, belongeth unto God;
Dios ya lo ha dicho y lo he escuchado muchas veces: El poder te pertenece a ti, oh Dios.
12 And, thine, O My Lord, is lovingkindness, —For, thou, wilt pay back unto every man—according to his deed.
Tú nos amas con amor fiel. Tú pagas a cada uno conforme a lo que ha hecho.
