< Psalms 5 >

1 To the Chief Musician. For the Flutes. A Melody of David. To my words, give ear, O Yahweh, Understand thou my softly murmured prayer:
O Yahweh Pakai, ka ocheng ho neingaipeh'in, Kalungthim a kataona jong neigelkhoh peh'in.
2 Attend to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for, unto thee, do I pray.
Panpi ngaija kakana neigelkhohpeh'in, ka lengpa le Elohim ka Pathen; ajeh chu nangma kom'a bou taovakahi.
3 O Yahweh! in the morning, shalt thou hear my voice, In the morning, will I set in order unto thee, and keep watch;
O Yahweh Pakai, jingkah teng kataona nei ngaipeh'in, jingkah seh leh nangma lam sang ingting kangai chat jouse nakom kahinlhut a kinemtah a ngah jingding kahi.
4 For, not a GOD finding pleasure in lawlessness, art thou, and wrong can be no guest of thine:
Nangma thil phalouho chunga kipah ji pathen nahipon, migilou ho jong na angsuna aumthei ji pouve.
5 Boasters, shall not station themselves, before thine eyes, —Thou hatest all workers of iniquity:
Nangma angsunga mikiletsah ho a dingjou jipon; Yahweh Pakai nang man gitlou nale chonset bol jouse nathet soh hel e.
6 Thou wilt destroy them who speak falsehood, —The man of bloodshed and of deceit, Yahweh abhorreth.
Nangin jouthu sei ho nasuh mang ding ahi; Yahweh Pakai in mijoulhep holeh tolthat ho athet ahi.
7 But, I, in the abounding of thy lovingkindness, will enter thy house, I will bow down towards thy holy temple, in reverence of thee:
Keima din vang, Nangailut na bulhingsetjal chun na hongsung hunglut nange; Chule nangma ginle jana a nahouin theng mai a bohkhup a chibai kabohding nahi.
8 O Yahweh! lead me in thy righteousness, because of mine adversaries, Make even, before me, thy way:
O Yahweh Pakai, kamelma ten eijo lounadin nalamdih a neipui in. Kamasanga um lampi hi kajuidih nadin neihin lhun jang peh in.
9 For in his mouth is nothing worthy of trust, Their inward purpose, is engulphing ruin, —An opened sepulchre, is their throat, With their tongue, speak they smooth things.
Ajeh chu kamelmate kamsunga thutah apotthei tapon, asunglam'u jong setnajeng ahitai; Alol sung ujong lhankhuh abangin, alei ujong chuchi a kilhunglut kalbi abang e.
10 Declare them guilty, O God, Let them fall by their own counsels, —Into the throng of their own transgressions, thrust them down, For they have rebelled against thee: —
O Yahweh Pakai ama ho khu gotna petan. Aduhabol nauhi amaho lhuh na hihen! Achonsetnao ho jeh'in delmang jeng'in, ajeh chu amahohin nangma dounan na atong'un ahi.
11 That all may rejoice who seek refuge in thee, to times age-abiding, may shout in triumph, that thou wilt protect them, and they may leap for joy in thee who are lovers of thy Name.
Ahin koihileh nangma lhalim noi'a umho chu thanom'u hen! Nangma thangvahna lachu kipah tah'in sajingu hen! Amaho chunga nalhajah in hoidoh jing in lang, Nangma min ngailu jing ho jong kipa na lodim jing'u hen.
12 For, thou, wilt bless the righteous man, O Yahweh, As with an all-covering shield—with good pleasure, wilt thou encompass him.
O Yahweh Pakai, nang'in michonpha ho phatthei naboh tei in. Nalungtoh te ngailut na ompho phatah achun nahoibit jing e.
