Psalms 41
1 To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. How happy is he that is attentive to the poor, In the day of calamity, will Yahweh deliver him:
സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദരിദ്രരോട് കരുതലുള്ളവർ അനുഗൃഹീതർ; അനർഥകാലത്ത് യഹോവ അവരെ വിടുവിക്കും
2 Yahweh, will preserve him and keep him alive, And he shall be pronounced happy in the land, Do not then give him up at the desire of his enemies!
യഹോവ അവരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയും കാത്തുപാലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും— അവർ ദേശത്ത് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാകും— അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ഇംഗിതത്തിനവരെ ഏൽപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുകയില്ല.
3 Yahweh, will sustain him upon the bed of sickness, All his couch, hast thou transformed in his disease.
അവരുടെ രോഗക്കിടക്കയിൽ യഹോവ അവരെ പരിചരിക്കും അവരുടെ രോഗത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് അവർക്കു സൗഖ്യംനൽകും.
4 I, said—O Yahweh, show me favour, heal thou my soul, for I have sinned against thee:
“യഹോവേ, എന്നോടു കരുണതോന്നണമേ, എന്നെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കണമേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്കെതിരേ പാപംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു,” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
5 Mine enemies, speak ill of me, When will he die, and his name perish?
എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്നെപ്പറ്റി ദോഷകരമായ വാർത്ത പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, “അവൻ എപ്പോൾ മരിക്കും, എപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ നാമം മൺമറയും?” എന്ന് അവർ ചോദിക്കുന്നു.
6 And, if he have come to see me, Falsehood, doth he speak, His own heart, gathereth iniquity to itself, he goeth forth, abroad he telleth it.
അവരിലൊരാൾ എന്നെ സന്ദർശിക്കാൻ വരുമ്പോൾ, ഹൃദയത്തിൽ അപവാദം സംഗ്രഹിക്കുമ്പോൾത്തന്നെ സ്നേഹിതനെപ്പോലെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നീട് അവർ പുറത്തുചെന്ന് നാടുനീളെ അപവാദം പരത്തുന്നു.
7 Together—against me, do all who hate me whisper among themselves, Against me, devise they hurt for me.
എന്റെ എല്ലാ ശത്രുക്കളും എനിക്കെതിരേ പരസ്പരം മന്ത്രിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്ക് അത്യന്തം ഹാനികരമായതു വന്നുഭവിക്കണമെന്നവർ വിഭാവനചെയ്യുന്നു.
8 An infliction of the Abandoned One hath been fixed upon him, and, now that he hath lien down, he will not again rise.
അവർ പറയുന്നു, “ഒരു മാരകവ്യാധി അവനെ പിടികൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനിയവൻ ഈ കിടക്കവിട്ട് എഴുന്നേൽക്കുകയില്ല.”
9 Even the man whom I used to salute, in whom I put confidence, who used to eat my bread, —hath magnified his heel against me!
എന്റെ ആത്മസഖി, ഞാൻ വിശ്വാസം അർപ്പിച്ച എന്റെ സുഹൃത്ത്, എന്നോടുകൂടെ അപ്പം പങ്കിടുന്നവൻ എനിക്കെതിരേ കുതികാൽ ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
10 But, thou, O Yahweh, show me favour and raise me up, That I may repay them.
എന്നാൽ എന്റെ യഹോവേ, എന്നോട് കരുണയുണ്ടാകണമേ, അവരോട് പകരംചോദിക്കാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കണമേ.
11 Hereby, do I know that thou delightest in me, In that mine enemy shall not raise a shout over me.
എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്റെമേൽ ജയഘോഷം നടത്താതിരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ അങ്ങെന്നിൽ സംപ്രീതനായിരിക്കുന്നെന്ന് ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
12 But, as for me, In my blamelessness, hast thou held me fast, And hast caused me to stand before thee unto times age-abiding.
എന്റെ പരമാർഥതയാൽ അവിടന്നെന്നെ താങ്ങിനിർത്തുകയും തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ എന്നെ നിത്യം നിർത്തുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
13 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, From the age that is past, even unto the age yet to come: Amen and Amen!
ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടട്ടെ, എന്നും എന്നെന്നേക്കും.
