Psalms 37
1 David’s. [An Alphabetical Psalm.] Burn not with vexation because of evil-doers, Be not envious of the workers of perversity;
Ha isku dhibin xumaanfalayaasha aawadood, Hana uga hinaasin kuwa xaqdarrada sameeya.
2 For, like grass, soon shall they wither, and, like green herbage, shall they fade.
Waayo, iyaga haddiiba waxaa loo jari doonaa sida cawska oo kale, Oo waxay u engegi doonaan sida geedo yaryar oo qoyan.
3 Trust in Yahweh, and do good, Dwell in the land, and feed on fidelity;
Rabbiga isku hallee oo wanaag samee, Oo sidaasaad dalka ku degganaan doontaa, oo ammaan baad ku daaqi doontaa.
4 Yea, rest thy delight on Yahweh, that he may give thee the requests of thy heart.
Haddaba Rabbiga ku farax, Oo wuxuu ku siin doonaa waxa qalbigaagu doonayo.
5 Roll on Yahweh thy way, Trust also in him, and, he, will effectually work:
Jidkaaga Rabbiga ku aamin, Isagana isku hallee, wuuna samaynayaaye.
6 So will he bring forth, as the light, thy righteousness, and thy vindication as the noonday.
Xaqnimadaada wuxuu u soo bixin doonaa sida nuurka oo kale, Gartaadana sida duhurka oo kale.
7 Be resigned to Yahweh, yea wait with longing for him; Burn not with vexation at him who prospereth in his way, —at the man who doeth wickedness.
Rabbiga ku hor xasilloonow, oo isaga samir ku sug, Oo ha isku dhibin kii jidkiisa ku barwaaqaysan Iyo ninkii hindisooyin shar ah sameeya toona.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath, Burn not with vexation—[it would be] only to do evil;
Cadhada ka joogso, oo dhirifka ka tag, Hana isku dhibin inaad shar samaysid.
9 For, evil doers, shall be cut off, but, as for them who wait for Yahweh, they, shall inherit the earth.
Waayo, xumaanfalayaashu way go'i doonaan, Laakiinse kuwa Rabbiga sugaa dalkay dhaxli doonaan.
10 Yet a little, therefore, and the lawless one shall not be, Yea thou shalt look about, over his place—and he shall have vanished!
Wakhti yar dabadeedna kan sharka lahu ma jiri doono, Bal meeshiisa aad baad ugu fiirsan doontaa, oo isna ma jiri doono.
11 But, the patient oppressed-ones, shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves over the abundance of prosperity.
Laakiinse kuwa camalka qabow dalkay dhaxli doonaan, Oo waxay ku farxi doonaan nabad badan.
12 Plotting is the lawless one, against the just, and gnashing upon him with his teeth.
Kan sharka lahu wuxuu shirqool u dhigaa kan xaqa ah, Oo isaga ayuu u ilko jirriqsadaa.
13 My Lord, shall laugh at him, for he seeth, that his day, will come.
Oo Sayidku wuu ku qosli doonaa isaga, Waayo, wuxuu arkaa in maalintiisu soo dhowaanayso.
14 A sword, have the lawless, drawn out, and have trodden their bow, —To bring down the oppressed and the needy, To slaughter the upright in life:
Kuwa sharka lahu waxay la bexeen seeftoodii, qaansadoodiina way xooteen, Si ay miskiinka iyo kan baahan hoos ugu tuuraan, Oo ay laayaan kuwa jidkooda ku qumman.
15 Their sword, shall enter into their own heart, and, their bow, shall be broken.
Seeftoodu waxay mudi doontaa wadnahooda, Oo qaansooyinkooduna way kala jebi doonaan.
16 Better the little of the righteous man, than the abundance of the lawless who are mighty;
Inta yar oo mid xaq ahu haystaa Way ka sii wanaagsan tahay kuwa sharka leh maalkooda badan.
17 For, the arms of the lawless, shall be broken, But Yahweh is upholding the righteous.
Waayo, kuwa sharka leh gacmahoodu way jebi doonaan, Laakiinse Rabbigu kuwa xaqa ah wuu tiiriyaa.
18 Yahweh knoweth the days of the blameless, that, their inheritance, unto times age-abiding, shall continue.
Rabbigu wuu yaqaan kuwa kaamilka ah cimrigooda, Oo dhaxalkooduna weligiisba wuu waarayaa.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the time of calamity, and, in the days of famine, shall they be filled.
Iyagu ma ceeboobi doonaan wakhtiga shar jiro, Oo wakhtiga abaaru dhacdona way dhergi doonaan.
20 For, the lawless, shall perish, and, the foes of Yahweh, be like the glory of the meadows, They have vanished! In smoke, have they vanished!
Laakiinse kuwa sharka lahu way halligmi doonaan, Cadaawayaasha Rabbiguna waxay ahaan doonaan sida inta wanaagsan oo doogga, Way baabbi'i doonaan, sida qiiqa oo kale way u baabbi'i doonaan.
21 A lawless man borroweth, and will not repay, But, a righteous man, showeth favour and giveth;
Kii shar lahu wax buu amaahdaa, mana bixiyo mar dambe, Laakiinse kan xaqa ahu wuu naxariistaa, waxna wuu bixiyaa.
22 For, such as are blessed of him, shall inherit the earth, But, the cursed of him, shall be cut off.
Oo kuwuu barakeeyo ayaa dalka dhaxli doona, Laakiinse kuwuu habaaraa way go'i doonaan.
23 From Yahweh, are the steps of a man made firm, When, with his way, he is well pleased:
Dadka socodkiisa waxaa hagaajiya Rabbiga, Oo jidkiisuu ku farxaa.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be hurled headlong, For, Yahweh, is holding his hand.
Oo in kastoo uu kufo, haddana ma wada dhici doono, Waayo, Rabbiga ayaa gacantiisa ku tiiriya.
25 Young, have I been, moreover am old, —Yet have I not seen, A righteous man forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread:
Waan dhallin yaraan jiray, oo haatanna waan gaboobay, Oo weligay ma arag mid xaq ah oo la dayriyey, Ama carruurtiisa oo cunto tuugsanaysa.
26 All day long, is he showing favour and lending, his seed, therefore, shall have a blessing.
Maalinta oo dhan wuu naxariistaa oo wax buu amaahiyaa, Oo carruurtiisuna way barakaysan yihiin.
27 Turn from evil, and do good, and so settle down, unto times age-abiding.
Sharka ka fogow, oo wanaag samee, Oo weligaa baad degganaan doontaa.
28 For, Yahweh, loveth justice, and will not forsake his men of lovingkindness, Unto times age-abiding, have the perverse been destroyed, —and the seed of the lawless, been cut off.
Waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu jecel yahay caddaaladda, Mana uu dayrsho quduusiintiisa, Laakiinse iyaga weligoodba waa la ilaashaa, Illowse kuwa sharka leh carruurtoodu way go'i doonaan.
29 The righteous, shall inherit the earth, that they may settle down, to futurity, thereupon.
Kuwa xaqa ahu dalkay dhaxli doonaan, Oo weligoodna way dhex degganaan doonaan.
30 The mouth of a righteous man, softly uttereth wisdom, and, his tongue, speaketh justice:
Kan xaqa ah afkiisu wuxuu ka hadlaa xigmadda, Carrabkiisuna wuxuu ku hadlaa caddaaladda.
31 The law of his God, is in his heart, his steps shall not swerve.
Oo Ilaahiisa sharcigiisu waa ku jiraa qalbigiisa, Oo tallaabooyinkiisana midnaba dib uma simbiriirixan doonto.
32 The lawless man, lieth in wait, for the just, and seeketh to put him to death:
Kan sharka lahu wuxuu fiiriyaa kan xaqa ah, Oo wuxuu doondoonaa inuu isaga dilo.
33 Yahweh, will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him, when he is judged.
Rabbigu isaga gacantiisa ku dayn maayo, Oo eedayn maayo marka la xukumo isaga.
34 Wait for Yahweh, and observe thou his path, that he may exalt thee, to inherit the earth, On the cutting off of the lawless, shalt thou look.
Rabbiga sug, oo jidkiisa xaji, Oo wuxuu kuu sara marin doonaa inaad dalka dhaxasho, Waad arki doontaa marka kuwa sharka lahu go'aan.
35 I have seen a lawless man, a tyrant, and spreading himself out, like a cedar in Lebanon;
Waxaan arkay ku shar leh oo dulun badan, Oo isu kala bixiya sida geed cagaar ah oo dhulkiisii ka baxay.
36 Then I passed by, and lo! he had vanished! Yea I sought him, but he could not be found.
Laakiin waa la ag maray, oo isagii lama arag, Oo waan doondoonay, laakiinse waa la waayay.
37 Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright, for there is a hereafter for the man of peace;
Bal fiiri ninka kaamilka ah, oo bal eeg, kan qumman, Waayo, ninkaas ugu dambaystiisu waa nabad.
38 But, transgressors, are to be destroyed together, the hereafter of lawless men, is to be cut off.
Laakiinse kuwa xadgudbaa dhammaantood wadajir bay u baabbi'i doonaan, Oo kuwa sharka lahuna ugu dambaystooda way go'i doonaan.
39 But, the deliverance of the righteous, is from Yahweh, their refuge in a time of distress.
Kuwa xaqa ahse badbaadadoodu waa xagga Rabbiga, Oo wakhtiga dhibaatada isagu waa qalcaddooda.
40 Thus hath Yahweh helped them, thus hath he delivered them, —He will deliver them from the lawless, and will save them, because they have sought refuge in him.
Oo Rabbigu iyaguu caawiyaa, wuuna samatabbixiyaa, Oo wuxuu iyaga ka samatabbixiyaa kuwa sharka leh, wuuna badbaadiyaa, Maxaa yeelay, isagay magangaleen.
