< Psalms 35 >
1 David’s. Contend, O Yahweh, with them who contend with me, Make war upon them who make war upon me.
Nkunga Davidi. Zonzisa, a Yave, bobo balembo nzonzisa. Nuanisa bobo balembo nduanisa,
2 Grasp buckler and shield, and arise in my help;
simba nkaku wu fioti ayi wunneni telama ayi yiza wutsadisa.
3 Then draw the spear, and close up against my pursuers, Say to my soul, Thy salvation, I am!
Bonga dionga difioti ayi dinneni ayi kaka nzila yi bobo balembo ndandakana kamba muelꞌama: “Minu ndidi phulusu aku.”
4 Let them be ashamed and confounded, who are seeking my life, —Let them turn back and be put to the blush, who are devising my hurt:
Bika batu babo bantombanga luzingu luama baba dio kombolo ayi bafua tsoni. Bika bobo bantombanga mabienga mama bavutuka ku mbusa ayi baba mu divuda;
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pressing them on:
bika baba banga mavevolo mamvevomono kuidi phemo va kimosi ayi mbasi yi Yave yi bakuka.
6 Let their way become dark and slippery, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pursuing them.
Bika nsolo awu wuba tombi ayi ndelo. Va kimosi ayi mbasi Yave yi balandakana.
7 For, without cause, have they hid for me, in a ditch, their net, —Without cause, have they digged [a pit] for my life.
Bila bathambididi dikondi diawu mu kambu bila; mu kambu kadi bila bakabidi dibulu dinneni mu diambu diama.
8 There shall reach him a ruin he could not know, —Yea, his own net which he hath hidden, shall capture him, Into that ruin, shall he fall!
Bika mbivusulu yi babuila mu kinzimbukila ayi bika dikondi diodi batamba bawu veka dibabuila; bika babua mu dibulu, mu diambu di mbivusulu awu.
9 But, my soul, shall exult in Yahweh, —shall be glad in his salvation.
Buna muelꞌama wela mona khini mu Yave ayi wela yangalala mu phulusu andi.
10 All my bones, shall say—O Yahweh, who is like unto thee? Rescuing the oppressed from one stronger than he, Yea the oppressed and the needy, from their spoiler.
Buna nitu ama yimvimba yela yamikina: “nani widi banga ngeyo Yave? Ngeyo weti kula nsukami mu mioko mi mutu wunlutidi zingolo; nsukami ayi nkua mabienga mu mioko mi mutu wowo wulembo bayibi.”
11 There rise up witnesses helping forward violence and wrong, What I know not, they demand of me:
Bambangi bakondolo kiadi zilembo telama; zilembo ndiuvula buivu mu mambu ma khambulu kuama zaba.
12 They repay me evil for good, Bereaving my soul.
Bamvutudidi mambimbi mu mamboti. Bayekudi muelꞌama wawu veka.
13 But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I humbled, with fasting, my soul, though, my prayer, unto mine own bosom, might return:
Vayi bu baba mu kimbevo; minu ndivuata tsaku. Ndikikulula mu kukifuisa nzala mu diambu di lusambulu Thangu zitsambulu ziama zivutuka kuidi minu mu kambu mvutu.
14 Like as for a friend, like as for a brother of mine own, I walked to and fro, As though mourning for a mother, I gloomily bowed myself down.
Ndibedi diatanga ku tsi kiadi banga mu diambu di nkundi ama voti khomba ama. Ndibedi komvikanga ntu ku tsi mu diambu di kiadi banga minu ndindila ngudi ama.
15 But, in mine overthrow, have they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together, —There gathered themselves together against me foolish men, and I knew it not, They have torn in pieces, and not been silent;
Minu bu ndibumina thutu, bakutakana va kimosi mu khini. Batu bakutakana mu diambu di kunduanisa minu mu kambu zaba diambu. Bawu bamfinga mu kambu vonga.
16 Amidst profane praters of perversion, have they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Banga batu bobo bankinzikanga ko mambu ma Nzambi, balembo tsekinina mu bu mbimbi balembo khuetila meso.
17 My Lord! how long wilt thou look on? Bring back my soul out of their raging, from among lions, my solitary self.
A Yave, nate thangu mbi wela kumatadidilanga e? Kula luzingu luama mu mbivusu awu; kula luzingu luama luthalu mu zikhosi zioso.
18 I will thank thee, in the midst of a great convocation, —In the midst of a mighty people, will I praise thee.
Ndiela kuvutudila matondo mu lukutukunu lunneni; va khatitsika batu bawombo ndiela kuzitisa.
19 Let not them who are falsely my foes rejoice over me, As for them who hate me without cause, let them not wink the eye!
Kadi tala ti bamona khini mu diambu diama, bobo badi bambeni ziama mu kambu bila; Kadi tala ti bobo bakundenganga mu kambu bila, bandiengudila meso mu bumbimbi.
20 For, no salvation, will they utter, —But, against the quiet of the land, deceitful things, do they devise;
Bayolukilanga ndembama ko; vayi banyindulanga mambu ma luvunu mu diambu di vunina bobo banzingilanga mu ndembama mu tsi.
21 Yea they have opened wide against me their mouth, They have said, Aha! Aha! our own eye, hath seen!
Balembo nzibudila miunu ayi balembo tubi: “A, a… mu meso meto veka tumueni mawu.”
22 Thou hast seen, O Yahweh, do not keep silence! O My Lord! be not far from me:
A Yave, ngeyo wumona mambu momo bika ba dio sui, kadi kuthatukila, a Yave,
23 Bestir thyself and wake up, to my vindication, O my God and My Lord!—to my plea:
kotuka ayi telama mu zonzika, Nzambi ama ayi Yave ama.
24 Vindicate me according to thy righteousness, O Yahweh, my God! And let them not rejoice over me:
Wundungisa boso buididi busonga buaku, a Yave, Nzambi ama; ayi kadi tala ti bamona khini mu diambu diama.
25 Let them not say in their heart, Aha! to our mind! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up!
Kadi kuba bika bayindula: “A, a … buawu bobo tutididi.” Voti babika tuba: “beto tumminini.”
26 Let them turn pale, and then at once blush, who are rejoicing at my misfortune, —Let them be clothed with shame and confusion, who are magnifying themselves against me.
Bika babo bammonanga khini mu ziphasi ziama, bafua tsoni ayi baba dio kombolo Bika bobo balembo kukiniemisanga bawu veka mu diambu diama bafua tsoni ayi baba dio kombolo.
27 Let them shout in triumph and rejoice, who are desiring my justification; And let them say continually, Yahweh be magnified, Who hath taken pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Bika bobo bamonanga khini mu ndungunu ama bamonanga khini ayi bayangadala bika batuba mu zithangu zioso: “Bika Yave kayayusu, niandi wummonanga khini mu mamboti ma kisadi kiandi.”
28 Mine own tongue also, shall softly utter thy righteousness, —All the day long, —thy praise!
Buna ludimi luama luela yolukila busonga buaku; ayi minzitusu miaku mu lumbu kimvimba.
