< Psalms 35 >

1 David’s. Contend, O Yahweh, with them who contend with me, Make war upon them who make war upon me.
O Yahweh, agtignayka a maibusor kadagiti agtigtignay a maibusor kaniak; gubatem dagiti manggubat kaniak.
2 Grasp buckler and shield, and arise in my help;
Alaem ti bassit ken dakkel a kalasagmo; tumakderka ket tulongannak.
3 Then draw the spear, and close up against my pursuers, Say to my soul, Thy salvation, I am!
Usarem ti gayang ken panggubat a wasaymo a maibusor kadagiti mangkamkamat kaniak; ibagam iti kararuak, “Siak ti salakanmo.”
4 Let them be ashamed and confounded, who are seeking my life, —Let them turn back and be put to the blush, who are devising my hurt:
Maibabain ken madadael koma dagiti mangbirok iti biagko. Mapasanud ken matikaw koma dagiti agpanggep a mangdangran kaniak.
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pressing them on:
Agbalinda koma a kas taep a maiyangin, bayat iti panangpapanaw ti anghel ni Yahweh kadakuada.
6 Let their way become dark and slippery, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pursuing them.
Sumipnget ken gumalis koma ti dalanda, bayat iti panangkamat ti anghel ni Yahweh kadakuada.
7 For, without cause, have they hid for me, in a ditch, their net, —Without cause, have they digged [a pit] for my life.
Awan gapgapuna nga inwayatda ti iketda kaniak; awan gapgapuna a nagkalida iti abut para iti biagko.
8 There shall reach him a ruin he could not know, —Yea, his own net which he hath hidden, shall capture him, Into that ruin, shall he fall!
Un-unaan koma ida ti pannakadadael a saanda a mapakpakadaan. Tiliwen koma ida ti iket nga inwayatda. Matnagda koma iti daytoy, iti pakadadaelanda.
9 But, my soul, shall exult in Yahweh, —shall be glad in his salvation.
Ngem agrag-oak kenni Yahweh ken iti panangisalakanna.
10 All my bones, shall say—O Yahweh, who is like unto thee? Rescuing the oppressed from one stronger than he, Yea the oppressed and the needy, from their spoiler.
Iti amin a pigsak, ibagak, “O Yahweh, siasino ti kas kenka, a mangis-ispal kadagiti maidaddadanes manipud kadagiti napigsa unay para kadakuada ken kadagiti nakurapay ken agkasapulan manipud kadagiti mangpadas nga agtakaw kadakuada?”
11 There rise up witnesses helping forward violence and wrong, What I know not, they demand of me:
Tumakder dagiti saan a nalinteg a saksi; pabasolendak a siuulbod.
12 They repay me evil for good, Bereaving my soul.
Sinubadandak iti dakes para iti naimbag. Agladladingitak unay.
13 But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I humbled, with fasting, my soul, though, my prayer, unto mine own bosom, might return:
Ngem, idi masakitda, nagkawesak iti nakersang a lupot; nagayunarak para kadakuada a nakadumog ti ulok a dimmanon iti barukongko.
14 Like as for a friend, like as for a brother of mine own, I walked to and fro, As though mourning for a mother, I gloomily bowed myself down.
Nagladladingitak a kasla gapu iti kabsatko; nakadumogak nga agdungdung-aw a kasla gapu iti inak.
15 But, in mine overthrow, have they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together, —There gathered themselves together against me foolish men, and I knew it not, They have torn in pieces, and not been silent;
Ngem idi naitibkolak, nagrag-oda ken naguummongda; naguummongda a maibusor kaniak, ket naklaatak kadakuada. Saandak a sinardengan a kinabkabil.
16 Amidst profane praters of perversion, have they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Linalaisdak nga awanan panagraem; pinagngaretngetda dagiti ngipenda kaniak.
17 My Lord! how long wilt thou look on? Bring back my soul out of their raging, from among lions, my solitary self.
O Apo, kasano pay kabayag a buybuyaem? Ispalem ti kararuak manipud kadagiti makadadael a panangdarupda, ti biagko manipud kadagiti leon.
18 I will thank thee, in the midst of a great convocation, —In the midst of a mighty people, will I praise thee.
Ket iti dakkel a taripnong, agyamanakto kenka; iti nagbabaetan dagiti adu a tattao, agdayawakto kenka.
19 Let not them who are falsely my foes rejoice over me, As for them who hate me without cause, let them not wink the eye!
Saanmo nga ipalubos nga agrag-o kaniak dagiti manangallilaw a kabusorko; saanmo nga ipalubos nga ipatungpalda dagiti nadangkes a panggepda.
20 For, no salvation, will they utter, —But, against the quiet of the land, deceitful things, do they devise;
Ta saanda nga agsao iti kappia, ngem agpanunotda kadagiti makaallilaw a sasao a maibusor kadagiti adda iti dagami nga agbibiag iti kappia.
21 Yea they have opened wide against me their mouth, They have said, Aha! Aha! our own eye, hath seen!
Ungapenda dagiti ngiwatda a maibusor kaniak; kinunada, “Ha, ha, nakita dagiti matami.”
22 Thou hast seen, O Yahweh, do not keep silence! O My Lord! be not far from me:
Nakitam daytoy, O Yahweh, saanka koma nga agulimek; O Apo, saanka koma nga umadayo kaniak.
23 Bestir thyself and wake up, to my vindication, O my God and My Lord!—to my plea:
Agriingka ket ikaluyanak; O Diosko ken Apok, ikanawam ti ikalkalintegak.
24 Vindicate me according to thy righteousness, O Yahweh, my God! And let them not rejoice over me:
O Yahweh a Diosko, gapu iti kinalintegmo, Ikanawanak; saanmo nga ipalubos nga agrag-oda iti pannakaparmekko.
25 Let them not say in their heart, Aha! to our mind! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up!
Saanmo nga ipalubos nga ibagada iti pusoda, “Aha, adda kadakami ti kayatmi.” Saanmo nga ipalubos nga ibagada, “Inalun-onmin isuna.”
26 Let them turn pale, and then at once blush, who are rejoicing at my misfortune, —Let them be clothed with shame and confusion, who are magnifying themselves against me.
Ibabain ken tikawem dagiti mayat a mangdangran kaniak. Makaluban koma iti pannakaibabain ken pannakadadael iti dayaw dagiti manguy-uyaw kaniak.
27 Let them shout in triumph and rejoice, who are desiring my justification; And let them say continually, Yahweh be magnified, Who hath taken pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Agpukkaw koma iti rag-o ken agragsak dagiti umanamong iti ikalkalintegak; agtultuloy koma a kunada, “Madaydayaw koma ni Yahweh, isuna a maragsakan iti pagsayaatan ti adipenna.”
28 Mine own tongue also, shall softly utter thy righteousness, —All the day long, —thy praise!
Ket ibagak ti hustisiam ken agmalmalem nga idaydayawka.
