< Psalms 35 >

1 David’s. Contend, O Yahweh, with them who contend with me, Make war upon them who make war upon me.
Yahweh Pakai, eidou ho hi nangin kidoupin, ei kisatpi ho jong nangin kisatpin.
2 Grasp buckler and shield, and arise in my help;
Nalum leh naumpho hin kipat in. Galmun a din kigon lang neihung kithopin.
3 Then draw the spear, and close up against my pursuers, Say to my soul, Thy salvation, I am!
Eihin delkhum ho dounan natengcha leh nateng muh chu hin lam tan. “Keiman gal kajopeh ding nahi!” ti neijah sah tan.
4 Let them be ashamed and confounded, who are seeking my life, —Let them turn back and be put to the blush, who are devising my hurt:
Eithat goho chunga hin jumnale jachatna lhun sah in, eigimbol a eisumang go hohi jumson lang nungno jeng tan.
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pressing them on:
Huilah a changvai alenmang bangin lenmang sah in, Yahweh Pakaija kon a vantil banga hung chu semmang sah in.
6 Let their way become dark and slippery, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pursuing them.
A lam lhah nao thimsah inlang lhonalsah in, Yahweh Pakai vantil chun nungdel peh u hen.
7 For, without cause, have they hid for me, in a ditch, their net, —Without cause, have they digged [a pit] for my life.
Keiman amaho kabol sepoi, ahin amahon kei matna dingin kotong eilai khum un ahi! Ken amaho kabol sepoi ahin amahon keimat nadin kotong alai uve.
8 There shall reach him a ruin he could not know, —Yea, his own net which he hath hidden, shall capture him, Into that ruin, shall he fall!
Hijeh chun amaho chunga hetman louvin mathahna hunglhung hen! Kei ona dia asem u kotong chu amaho manthahna hijo tahen.
9 But, my soul, shall exult in Yahweh, —shall be glad in his salvation.
Chuteng keima Yahweh Pakai akakipa ding ahi. Eilhatdoh jeh a keima kipa thanom ding kahi.
10 All my bones, shall say—O Yahweh, who is like unto thee? Rescuing the oppressed from one stronger than he, Yea the oppressed and the needy, from their spoiler.
Katahsa chunga kagu kachang jouse pum a Yahweh Pakai kathangvah ding ahi: “Yahweh Pakai koiham nangtoh kitekah theiding? Koidang ba ham mihatpa thaneina a kona panpi beipa huhdoh a chu?”
11 There rise up witnesses helping forward violence and wrong, What I know not, they demand of me:
Engbolna dih louvin eithemmo sah un. Kahetphahlou jouthu a monna eikichan e.
12 They repay me evil for good, Bereaving my soul.
Amahon kathil phabol jengjong thilsen eile thuh un lung lhahnan kangui heltai.
13 But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I humbled, with fasting, my soul, though, my prayer, unto mine own bosom, might return:
Ahijeng vangin amahon anat tenguleh keiman amaho kalainatpi jin khaodip pon kakisil in anngol in amaho kataopeh jin ahi. Hinla kataona donbut louvin ahung kinung le jitai.
14 Like as for a friend, like as for a brother of mine own, I walked to and fro, As though mourning for a mother, I gloomily bowed myself down.
Ka golpha le insung mi monga kagel jeh in kalungkham pin, eihinga kanu kalainatpi bang bangin kalainat pi jin ahi.
15 But, in mine overthrow, have they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together, —There gathered themselves together against me foolish men, and I knew it not, They have torn in pieces, and not been silent;
Hinlah ken tunia boina katophat in amaho akipah un keidounan thanom tah in akiloi khomun, hiti chun kahetkhahlou miho kisan in tujeng in jong eino khum un; phat tin in eihouse jing jengun ahi.
16 Amidst profane praters of perversion, have they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Amahon einuisat un eitam seovin noise tah in eihagel khum un ahi.
17 My Lord! how long wilt thou look on? Bring back my soul out of their raging, from among lions, my solitary self.
O Yahweh Pakai itih changei pi neivet a donlouva neikoi ding hitam?
18 I will thank thee, in the midst of a great convocation, —In the midst of a mighty people, will I praise thee.
Chutengleh mipi tamtah ki khom te lah a kipathu kahin seiding ahi. Mipi ho jouse masanga nangma kahin thangvah ding ahi.
19 Let not them who are falsely my foes rejoice over me, As for them who hate me without cause, let them not wink the eye!
Kajolel nachung a hin eidou te kipa thanop sah hih beh in. Kamuiset nachung in jong ajeh bei a eivetda ho kitai sah hih beh in.
20 For, no salvation, will they utter, —But, against the quiet of the land, deceitful things, do they devise;
Amahon chamna thu aseipouvin, amahon thepmona neilou atoh dingdol bep tongho dounan thilse agong jingun ahi.
21 Yea they have opened wide against me their mouth, They have said, Aha! Aha! our own eye, hath seen!
“Aha! Aha! ipi bol kigo nahi kamit tah un kamudoh taove!” tin asam uve.
22 Thou hast seen, O Yahweh, do not keep silence! O My Lord! be not far from me:
O Yahweh Pakai nangin hicheghi namusoh kei in nahesoh e, donlouvin koihih beh in O Yahweh Pakai. neidalha hihbeh in O Yahweh Pakai.
23 Bestir thyself and wake up, to my vindication, O my God and My Lord!—to my plea:
Hungthoudoh in! eihuhdoh dingin hung dingdoh jengtan! Yahweh ka Pakai le Elohim ka Pathen kachung thuhi neitan peh in.
24 Vindicate me according to thy righteousness, O Yahweh, my God! And let them not rejoice over me:
O Yahweh Pakai ka Pathen Elohim, kamo louna neiphon doh peh tan, ajeh chu nangma thudih a thutan nahi. Kaboina chung chon a kadougal te nuisat in neium sah hih beh in.
25 Let them not say in their heart, Aha! to our mind! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up!
“Veovin itup uchu imutaove! Tua hi ahingsan a inehchai diu ahitai!” tisah hihbeb in.
26 Let them turn pale, and then at once blush, who are rejoicing at my misfortune, —Let them be clothed with shame and confusion, who are magnifying themselves against me.
Kahahsatna nikhoa kipah ho sujum inlang jachat sah in. Kachunga hanla samhohi jumnaleh minsetnan lhuh khumin.
27 Let them shout in triumph and rejoice, who are desiring my justification; And let them say continually, Yahweh be magnified, Who hath taken pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Ahin koi hileh keima ei huhdia hung ho jouse chu kipanalentah pen. “Yahweh Pakai aloupi e aman asoh hi lunglhai tah in phatthei aboh in lungmon na apei!” tin tanglouvin samjingu hen.
28 Mine own tongue also, shall softly utter thy righteousness, —All the day long, —thy praise!
Chuteng keiman nathutan adihji samphong ingting niseh a nangma kavahchoi ding ahi.
