< Psalms 33 >

1 Shout for joy, ye righteous, in Yahweh, To the upright, seemly is praise.
Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Muyimbire Mukama n’essanyu mmwe abatuukirivu; kisaanira abalongoofu okumutenderezanga.
2 Give ye thanks unto Yahweh with the lyre, With a harp of ten strings, make ye music unto him.
Mutendereze Mukama n’ennanga, mumukubire ennyimba ku ntongooli ey’enkoba ekkumi.
3 Sing unto him, a song that is new, With skill, sweep the strings, with loud noise.
Mumuyimbire oluyimba oluggya; musune enkoba ze ntongooli n’amagezi nga bwe muyimba mu ddoboozi ery’omwanguka olw’essanyu.
4 For right is the word of Yahweh, and, all his work, is in faithfulness:
Kubanga ekigambo kya Mukama kituufu era kya mazima; mwesigwa mu buli ky’akola.
5 Who loveth righteousness and justice, With the lovingkindness of Yahweh, the earth is full.
Mukama ayagala obutuukirivu n’obwenkanya. Ensi ejjudde okwagala kwa Mukama okutaggwaawo.
6 By the word of Yahweh, the heavens were made, and, by the spirit of his mouth, all their host:
Mukama yayogera kigambo, eggulu ne likolebwa; n’assiza omukka mu kamwa ke eggye lyonna ery’omu ggulu ne litondebwa.
7 Who gathered as into a skin-bottle the waters of the sea, Delivering, into treasuries, the roaring deeps.
Yakuŋŋaanya amazzi g’ennyanja mu ntuumu, agayanja n’agasibira mu masitoowa gaago.
8 Let all the earth, stand in awe of Yahweh, Of him, be in dread, all ye inhabitants of the world;
Ensi yonna esaana etyenga Mukama, n’abantu ab’omu mawanga gonna bamussengamu ekitiibwa;
9 For, he, spake, and it was, He, commanded, and it stood forth.
kubanga yayogera bwogezi n’etondebwa, n’alagira n’eyimirira nga nywevu.
10 Yahweh, hath frustrated the counsel of nations, hath brought to nothing the devices of peoples.
Mukama asansulula enteekateeka y’amawanga; alemesa abantu okutuukiriza bye bagenderera.
11 The counsel of Yahweh, to times age-abiding, shall stand, The devices of his heart, from generation to generation.
Naye enteekateeka za Mukama zibeerawo nga nywevu emirembe gyonna; n’ebigendererwa by’omutima gwe bya lubeerera.
12 How happy the nation whose God is, Yahweh, The people he hath chosen as his own inheritance!
Lirina omukisa eggwanga eririna Katonda nga ye Mukama waalyo, ng’abantu baalyo yabalonda babeere bantu be.
13 Out of the heavens, hath Yahweh looked, He hath seen all the sons of men:
Mukama asinziira mu ggulu n’alaba abaana b’abantu bonna;
14 Out of his settled place of abode, hath he fixed his gaze on all the inhabitants of the earth:
asinziira mu kifo kye mw’abeera n’alaba abantu bonna abali ku nsi.
15 Who fashioneth their heart all together, Who understandeth all their doings.
Ye y’ategeka ebirowoozo byabwe bonna ne yeetegereza byonna bye bakola.
16 Not a king, can be saved by greatness of force, nor, hero, deliver himself by greatness of strength:
Tewali kabaka asobola kuwona olw’obunene bw’eggye lye; era tewali mulwanyi ayinza kuwona olw’amaanyi ge amangi.
17 A deception, is the horse, for victory, and, by his great strength, shall he not deliver.
Okusuubira embalaasi yokka okukuwanguza olutalo kuteganira bwerere; newaakubadde erina amaanyi mangi naye tesobola kulokola.
18 Lo! the eye of Yahweh, is toward them who revere him, unto such as are waiting for his lovingkindness:
Naye amaaso ga Mukama galabirira abo abamutya; abalina essuubi mu kwagala kwe okutaggwaawo,
19 To rescue, from death, their soul, and to keep them alive in famine.
abawonya okufa, era abawonya enjala.
20 Our own soul, hath waited for Yahweh, Our help and our shield, is he!
Tulindirira Mukama nga tulina essuubi, kubanga ye mubeezi waffe era ye ngabo yaffe.
21 For, in him, shall our heart rejoice, For, in his holy Name, have we trusted.
Mu ye emitima gyaffe mwe gijaguliza, kubanga twesiga erinnya lye ettukuvu.
22 Be thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, upon us, According as we have waited for thee.
Okwagala kwo okutaggwaawo kubeerenga mu ffe, Ayi Mukama, ng’essuubi lyaffe bwe liri mu ggwe.
