Psalms 29
1 A Melody of David. Give to Yahweh, ye sons of the mighty, —Give to Yahweh, [both] glory and strength:
Thaburi ya Daudi Rahai Jehova, inyuĩ ciũmbe cia igũrũ, rahai Jehova tondũ nĩwe ũrĩ riiri na hinya.
2 Give to Yahweh, the glory of his Name, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness.
Rahai Jehova, mũheane ũhoro wa riiri wa rĩĩtwa rĩake; thathaiyai Jehova thĩinĩ wa ũkengi wa ũthingu wake.
3 The voice of Yahweh, is upon the waters, —The GOD of glory, hath thundered, Yahweh, is upon mighty waters;
Mũgambo wa Jehova ũragamba na kũu iria-inĩ; Mũrungu ũcio wa riiri nĩararuruma, Jehova araruruma igũrũ rĩa maaĩ maingĩ.
4 The voice of Yahweh, is with power, The voice of Yahweh, is with majesty;
Mũgambo wa Jehova nĩ ũrĩ ũhoti; mũgambo wa Jehova ũiyũrĩte riiri.
5 The voice of Yahweh, is breaking cedars, Now hath Yahweh, broken down, the cedars of Lebanon!
Mũgambo wa Jehova unangaga mĩtarakwa; Jehova oinangaga mĩtarakwa ya Lebanoni ĩgatuĩka tũcunjĩ.
6 And hath made them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion, like the bull-calf of wild-oxen;
Atũmaga bũrũri wa Lebanoni ũtũũhe ta njaũ, nakĩo Kĩrĩma gĩa Sirioni gĩgatũũha ta njaũ ya mbogo.
7 The voice of Yahweh, is cleaving out flames of fire;
Mũgambo wa Jehova ũhenũkaga nĩnĩmbĩ cia mwaki.
8 The voice of Yahweh, bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness; Yahweh bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness of Kadesh!
Mũgambo wa Jehova ũinainagia werũ; Jehova ainainagia Werũ wa Kadeshi.
9 The voice of Yahweh, causeth the gazelles to bring forth, and hath stript forests; and, in his own temple, every one there, is saying, Glory!
Mũgambo wa Jehova ũthioraga mĩtĩ ya mĩgandi, na ũgatũma mĩtitũ ĩhũrũrũke ĩgatigwo ũtheri. Nakuo hekarũ-inĩ yake arĩa othe marĩ kuo makaanĩrĩra makoiga, “Kaĩ arĩ riiri-ĩ!”
10 Yahweh, at the Flood, was seated, And Yahweh hath taken his seat, as king, unto times age-abiding.
Jehova arĩ igũrũ rĩa mũiyũro wa maaĩ aikarĩire gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene; Jehova egũtũũra aikarĩire gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene arĩ Mũthamaki nginya tene.
11 Yahweh, will give, strength to his people, —Yahweh, will bless his people with prosperity.
Jehova aheaga andũ ake hinya; Jehova arathimaga andũ ake magaikara na thayũ.
