< Psalms 28 >
1 David’s. Unto thee, O Yahweh, do I cry, O my Rock! do not turn in silence from me, —lest, if thou turn from me in silence, I be like them who go down into the pit.
Salimo la Davide. Kwa Inu ine ndiyitana, Yehova ndinu Thanthwe langa; musakhale osamva kwa ine. Pakuti mukapitirira kukhala chete, ndidzakhala ngati iwo amene atsikira ku dzenje.
2 Hear the voice of my supplication, when I cry to thee for help, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy shrine.
Imvani kupempha chifundo kwanga pomwe ndikuyitana kwa Inu kuti mundithandize, pomwe ndikukweza manja anga kuloza ku malo anu oyeretsetsa.
3 Do not drag me away—with the lawless, or with the workers of iniquity, —who speak peaceably with their neighbours, but, wrong, is in their heart.
Musandikokere kutali pamodzi ndi anthu oyipa, pamodzi ndi iwo amene amachita zoyipa, amene amayankhula mwachikondi ndi anzawo koma akusunga chiwembu mʼmitima mwawo.
4 Give them, according to their deed, and, according to the wrong of their practices, —According to the work of their own hands, give thou unto them, Bring back their own dealing to themselves.
Muwabwezere chifukwa cha zochita zawo ndi ntchito zawo zoyipa; abwezereni chifuwa cha zimene manja awo achita ndipo mubweretse pa iwo zimene zowayenera.
5 Because they heed not The Deeds of Yahweh, or the Work of his hands, he will pull them down, and not build them.
Popeza iwowo sakhudzidwa ndi ntchito za Yehova, ndi zimene manja ake anazichita, Iye adzawakhadzula ndipo sadzawathandizanso.
6 Blessed be Yahweh, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplication.
Matamando apite kwa Yehova, popeza Iye wamva kupempha chifundo kwanga.
7 Yahweh, is my strength and my shield, In him, hath trusted my heart, and I have found help, —Therefore hath my heart danced for joy, and, with my song, do I praise him.
Yehova ndiye mphamvu yanga ndi chishango changa; mtima wanga umadalira Iye, ndipo Ine ndathandizidwa. Mtima wanga umalumphalumpha chifukwa cha chimwemwe ndipo ndidzayamika Iye mʼnyimbo.
8 Yahweh, is strength to his people, —And, the all-saving refuge of his Anointed One, is he!
Yehova ndi mphamvu ya anthu ake, linga la chipulumutso kwa wodzozedwa wake.
9 Oh save thy people, and bless thine inheritance, Tend them also, and carry them, Unto times age-abiding.
Pulumutsani anthu anu ndipo mudalitse cholowa chanu; mukhale mʼbusa wawo ndipo muwakweze kwamuyaya.
